Jerusalem - Union Information Department - The Joseph Blatter Academy team defeated the South African SA Development team, 2-0, in a friendly match that brought them together today, Tuesday, at Faisal Al-Husseini Stadium.

Before the start of the match, the players of both teams observed a minute of silence in memory of player Capello Johnny Malisa, who died by drowning in the city of Jericho last Sunday.

The academy's goals were scored by players Odeh Asfour and Uday Salhia. After the end of the match, the visiting team was honored with medals and commemorative shields.
