Jerusalem - Pal Sport Agency / in the presence of Major General Dr. Nazih Nairat "Abu Jaafar" Director General of Al-Quds International Taekwondo Academy, Bashir Mahamid, Director of Clubs at the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports "Al-Wasat", members of the Kafr Aqab municipality, Lafi Al-Ajlouni, Samih Abu Rumaila, Jerusalemite athlete Salah Abu Rumaila, businessman Abu Badr Tarman, and the principals and teachers of the participating schools, Al-Quds International Academy established For Taekwondo in Majed Asaad Hall in Al-Bireh, the Sixth Jerusalem Academy Schools Championship for Taekwondo, under the supervision of the Palestinian Taekwondo Federation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the School Sports Federation, and with media sponsorship for Pal Sport Network and Agency.
120 male and female players participated in the championship, representing 50 schools. The head of the academy, Mohamed Salah Abu Rumaila, formed all the special committees for the tournament, which is the Referees Committee, which consisted of: Ibrahim Abu Rumaila, Ahmed Hussein, Allam Al-Damiry and Muhammad Abdul Karim, and the Organizing Committee, which consisted of: Muhammad Mahfouz, Amjad Abu Shukr, Muhammad Abu Sarah, and Thaer Hamed.
Thanks were extended to the President of the Federation, Dr. Bashar Abdel-Gawad, and Aref Asairah, the sports activities official at the Ministry of Education, for the cooperation they provided for the success of the school tournament. After Eid Al-Fitr, a ceremony will be held to crown the first schools to win the overall tournament.
