The Olympic club crowns the boys and girls teams of Al-Ahly Club with the two cups of the "Doge Ball" championship

The Palestinian Olympic Committee crowned the Al-Ahly club for boys and girls with the first place cups for the popular “dodge ball” game championship, which was held within the Palestinian youth sports project, Tamkeen “3”, and was held for the third year in a row, implemented by the Palestinian Olympic Committee, in partnership with the Palestinian Olympic Committee. The United Nations Development Program in Gaza "UNDP", funded by the Japanese government within the program of assistance to the Palestinian people.

The two scheduled matches took place within the championship competitions in the covered hall of the Palestinian Al-Ahly Club in Gaza, in the presence of the representative of the United Nations Development Program in Gaza, Ms. Alaa Al-Hasani, the coordinator of the "Tamkeen 3" project, Mr. Iyad Shaheen, and the official of the "Doge Ball" game, Mr. Majed Al-Khatib, Ahmed Tafesh, President of the Baseball and Softball Federation, and the staff of the Olympic Committee in Gaza.

In the first match in the tournament, the boys’ team of the Palestinian Al-Ahly club defeated the “Gaza Sports” team, with a score of 3/1, in a match consisting of five rounds, the duration of each half is 3 minutes, and depends on the ball hitting a number of one of the two teams competing for the other team with the ball, and taking them out of the ball. The game before the half ends.

In the second meeting for girls, the girls of the Palestinian Al-Ahly Club defeated their peers from the Baseball and Softball Academy Club, with a score of 3/2, to be crowned with the First Place Cup.

After the meetings ended, the coordinator of the Palestinian Youth Sports Project "Tamkeen 3" praised Mrs. Iyad Shaheen, with the continuous support of the United Nations Development Program in Gaza and the government of the State of Japan, which is friendly to Palestinian sports for the third year in a row.

At the end of the tournament, Shaheen and the representative of the United Nations Program awarded Kassi first place to the two winning teams, while the two runners-up won medals. In appreciation of their efforts in organizing the tournament.
