Italian Championship: Inter guarantees qualification to the Champions League, and Roma officially loses it

Inter ensured its qualification to the Champions League next season by beating its guest Atalanta 3-2 in the thirty-seventh and penultimate stage on Saturday, while Roma officially lost the opportunity to qualify through the league by falling against Fiorinina 2-1 on Saturday.

Inter advanced with two goals in the first three minutes through the Belgian Romelu Lukaku (1) and Nicolo Barella (3), before the Croatian Mario Pasalic narrowed the difference (36).

Argentine Lautaro Martinez scored the third goal for the hosts (77), before Colombian substitute Luis Morial hit a powerful ball from outside the area into the roof of the goal, but the goal was considered military on Cameroonian international goalkeeper Andre Onana (90 + 1).

Inter raised its score to 69 points, temporarily second to Lazio (68), who plays Sunday with Cremonese, and is eight points away from fifth Atalanta.

And Milan, the fourth (64 points), will suffice to draw with its host, Juventus VII (59), on Sunday, in order to guarantee the last qualifying card to the first continental competition.

Nerazzuiri entered the meeting after winning the Italian Cup for the second year in a row, with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina.

And he returned to the winning streak in the league after falling in the last stage against Napoli, the champion, 3-1, and is preparing for the Champions League final against Manchester City, England, on the tenth of next June.

Roma officially lost the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League through the Italian League, by falling fatally to its host, Fiorentina, 1-2.

The capital team advanced until the last minutes with an early goal scored by Stephen El Shaarawy (11), before conceding two deadly goals in the last five minutes through Serbian Luka Jovic (85) and French Jonathan Ikoneh (88).

Rome's balance froze at 60 points in sixth place, four points away from Milan, which occupies the last qualifying positions for the first continental championship, and therefore it became impossible to catch up with it with a single match remaining.

Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho's team has another chance to qualify for the Champions League next season, if it wins Wednesday the Europa League final against Spain's Seville at the Puskas Arena in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.

But the task will not be easy for a specialist in this tournament, whose title he won a record six times and never lost a single final.

Mourinho rested some of his players for the upcoming match, noting that he did not lose any continental final he played in in his coaching career.

As for Fiorentina, who entered the match after losing the cup final, he achieved a moral victory after losing his hopes of qualifying for any continental competition through the league, raising his score to 53 points in ninth place, six points behind Juventus, who occupies the last qualifying position to Europe.

Fiorentina has the opportunity to reserve its ticket to the European League competition if it beats West Ham United in the final match of the Conference League competition on the seventh of June next.

In other matches, Spezia suffered a slap in its quest to remain among the adults, by falling at home 4-0 against Turin, while Salernitana defeated its guest Udinese 3-2 in a goalless match for the two teams.

Spezia's balance froze at 31 points in the seventeenth place, and it will be threatened to drop to the eighteenth, and thus occupy the first relegation positions, in the event that Verona (30 points) wins over its guest, Empoli, on Sunday.
And it was previously confirmed that Sampdoria and Cremonese were relegated.

The future is ours, despite their strength and arrogance

All people are tired of some political terminology that actually lost its content a long time ago, and some are still repeating it knowing that it has no value or effect! The last of these manifestations, but not the least, was the demand of a large and comprehensive group that represents almost all European countries, in a statement issued by members of the consulates general of the following countries: Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, and the representative offices of Denmark, Finland, Germany, and Ireland, in addition to a representative European Union office in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

These countries and institutions called in a joint statement to stop all land grabs and demolitions, and called on the occupation to stop all of this and pay compensation to those who were affected.

This is positive and sound talk, but the issue is different. Israel does not listen to all this talk, but on the contrary, it continues the acts of demolition, confiscation of land and displacement of the population, and does not take into account any critic or rejection of this policy, because it realizes that this refusal is just talk and expression of a political position without value.

For decades, we have been listening to such statements and asserting that the settlements are illegal and the confiscation of land is a violation of all human concepts, but in Israel they do not listen to this and do not pay any attention to it, and see it as mere talk in the air.

The problem is not in Israel, but in us. We are the owners of the right, the land, history and the future, because the proverb says, “The strong are defective and the weak are disappointed.” As long as Israel is the strongest, it is expected that it will do everything that is wrong and illegal in implementation of its own interests and without any regard for the other or any fear of reactions. Which has become known and no more than verbal statements in the air.

If the Arab world possessed an iota of national responsibility, it would stop Israel at its limit and preserve the Palestinian land and the national future, but they stand helpless, lacking in resourcefulness and action, and say nothing except as the proverb says, “after the destruction of Malta.”
If the Arab world united and took a serious position, it would force Israel to accept the Palestinian national rights and not to persist in its arrogance and expansion. America.

America's interests in the Arab world, from the ocean to the Gulf, with all its oil wealth, geographical location, and military capabilities, are more than any other interest.

The Arab world, with its strategic location from Morocco to the Gulf, passing through Egypt, its oil wealth, etc., the density of its population and our historical culture, is capable of influencing all issues. Unfortunately, we stand not just helpless, but also like spectators, and like a game in the hands of others.

Many diplomatic missions, mostly European, have called on the Israeli government to stop demolitions and land seizures in the West Bank. The indirect response was that the Israeli government allocated large budgets to encourage housing in the settlements.
In summary: “The strong are defective...and the weak are disappointed.” This is an old political rule used in different eras. Today, despite the demographic and geographic strength of the Arab world and the enormous natural resources, it stands as a spectator to what is going on and does not take the initiative to act, but rather tries to respond to what others are doing, unfortunately. severe.

Spanish Championship: Rodrygo enhances Real Madrid's chances of winning the runner-up with a brace against Seville

Brazilian international striker Rodrigo led his team, Real Madrid, to enhance its chances of finishing the season in the runner-up, when he scored a double for him, beating Seville 2-1, on Saturday, at the “Ramon Sanchez-Pisjuan” stadium, in the opening of the thirty-seventh and penultimate stage of the Spanish Football Championship.

The royal club turned the tables on its Andalusian host, who advanced early through Rafa Mir (3), before conceding Rodrigo's double in the 29th and 69th minutes, raising his tally to nine goals this season in La Liga.

Real Madrid strengthened its position in second place with 77 points, temporarily 4 points behind its only competitor for the runner-up, its neighbor and traditional rival Atletico Madrid, who hosts Real Sociedad at a fiery summit Sunday at the end of the stage.

On the other hand, Seville continued to bleed points for the third match after two consecutive draws and suffered a loss that frozen its balance at 49 points in tenth place temporarily.

The loss of the Andalusian team came five days before the final match of the European League competition, "Europa League", against Roma, Italy, next Wednesday.

In the last stage, Real Madrid will play with its guest, Athletic Bilbao, and Sevilla, with its host, Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid played the match in the absence of its stars, French captain Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio and Brazilian Vinicius Junior, due to injury, and the suspended Danny Carvajal.

As for Sevilla, its veteran captain, Jesus Navas, and Senegalese Bab Gueye were absent due to suspension, and Brazilian Fernando due to injury.

Jose Luis Mendilibar pushed Moroccan international goalkeeper Yassin Bono for the first time in the league since his return from the World Cup in Qatar, where he finished fourth with his country in an Arab and African achievement, at the expense of Serbian Marko Dmitrovic, for introducing the atmosphere of competition before the final match of the European League competition.

Sevilla scored first through Rafa Mir with a powerful left-footed shot from inside the area, which was placed in the far right corner of the Belgian international goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, taking advantage of a rebound from Brazilian international defender Eder Militao after a shot by Brian Gill (3).

Rodrigo missed the opportunity to equalize when he received a ball on a platter of gold from Lucas Vasquez in front of the goal, so he played it with his right hand next to the left post (15).

And Rodrigo succeeded in equalizing with a direct free kick from 20 meters, which he hit with his right and settled in the left corner of Bono (29).
The left post saved Real Madrid from the second goal by returning a powerful shot from close range to Argentine Eric Lamela (37), before the latter missed a real opportunity after receiving a ball from his compatriot Alejandro Gomes in front of the goal, which he followed over the three sticks (42).

Italian royal coach Carlo Ancelotti was forced to replace Uruguayan international midfielder Federico Valverde early in the second half due to injury, so he pushed French international Eduardo Camavinga (54).

Rodrigo strengthened the Royal Club's progress from a quick counterattack, during which he received a ball from German Toni Kroos in the middle of the stadium, so he quickly set off and penetrated into the area and manipulated Argentine international defender Goncalo Montiel twice before playing it with his right crawling to the left of Bono (70).

"It's hard to choose (between the two goals), both were great, maybe the second goal was a bit more, but scoring from a free kick is always special," Rodrygo told Dazone, a broadcaster.

"I was a little upset with him (Ancelotti) because I wanted to score another goal to achieve the hat-trick, but it's okay, he told me we would win this way," added Rodrigo, who was replaced by Ancelotti 10 minutes before the end of the match.

Ancelotti praised his striker after the match. "Rodrigo shines in the centre-forward position and he can play there. He has different characteristics, but with his dribbling around the penalty area, it is easier to score from there than to do it as a winger."

The Uruguayan substitute, Alvaro Rodrigues, almost added the third goal with a header from close range, which passed near the left post (73).

Seville tried to remedy the situation, but received a painful blow by expelling its other Argentine international defender, Marcos Acuña, due to a strong interference on midfielder Danny Ceballos (83).

Bono saved his goal from a third goal by blocking a powerful shot by Kroos from the edge of the area (88).

Mir said, "We are a family, we showed that, we went through some very bad moments, but the last quarter of the season was amazing. Now we have the final prize, we want to come back here with the cup," referring to the Europa League.

Sunday also plays at the same time, with the principle of equal opportunities between all teams, Barcelona the champion with Real Mallorca, Getafe with Osasuna, Cadiz with Celta Vigo, Almeria with Valladolid, Athletic Bilbao with Elche, Valencia with Espanyol, Girona with Real Betis, and Rayo Vallecano with Villarreal.

Protect us... protect us... from the arrogance and violence of the settlers

On the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Nakba, which was revived a few days ago on the fifteenth of last May, and on the eve of the fifty-sixth anniversary of the setback in 1967 and the occupation of the rest of Palestine on the fifth of June 1967, whose anniversary will be next month, our people are still facing a fierce war that has been going on for a year 1948, in different forms, but with one goal: obliterating his national and political identity, circumventing him, scattering his existence, uprooting him, and expelling him from his homeland.

Our people are subjected to a fierce attack by settlers, which was the basis for the establishment of Israel on its land, and continues to be represented in the continuation of settlement expansion and the misery of the lives of the Palestinians, and the attempt to spread fear and terror in their souls through systematic attacks against them, as happened in Hawara and Cyrenaica recently, and in the continued burning of their cars or Throwing stones at them, setting up obstacles and settlement barriers on the roads, acts of arrogance, assaulting property, leveling lands, stealing agricultural crops by force or under cover of darkness, and uprooting or burning fruit trees, in front of the eyes of the occupation army that provides them with security and protection.

Settler violence and arrogance
For example, but not limited to, the settlers recently burned five vehicles and 270 bales of hay in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, which has been besieged and closed for entry or exit for 14 days. They also attacked farmers from the town of Sinjil on the road between Ramallah and Nablus. They prevented them from working on their agricultural lands, and they also opened fire on cars traveling between the town of Qasra and the village of Jalud in the Nablus region.

Not to mention the daily attacks against citizens in the north and center of the West Bank, the Jordan Valley, and the villages of Mount Hebron, especially in Masafer Yatta, where the occupation authorities seek to expel about 1100 Palestinian citizens and their livestock from their lands and homes. The daily attacks of settlers against Palestinian villages and population centers forced 78 Bedouin families in Ain Samia to leave her to escape from settler attacks, which were attacking them on an almost daily basis, and preparations are underway to demolish the school that the European Union provided to their children, in order to complete the fierce attack launched by the occupation against Palestinian schools, where the school of Jab Al-Dib in the Hebron area was demolished, and preparations are underway to demolish the school of Khashm Al-Dam in the area Hebron, in addition to 57 other schools threatened with demolition in different parts of the occupied territories.

The terrorist goal of these attacks is to seize more lands and allocate them for settlement, and close the pastures to Palestinian farmers who live on raising livestock, as is the case in Masafer Yatta, and allocate these pastures for pastoral settlement that enjoys government support, and displace Bedouin communities, as is the case with the village of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar. Which includes more than 48 Bedouin families threatened with deportation at any moment. It is also expected today that this government will issue decisions to seize more than half a million dunums of land in the West Bank, which were classified in the past as reserves and nature conservation areas, and will be allocated for settlement.

We are facing an extremist, racist government that supports the use of force against the Palestinians to deport them and seize their lands and property, and allocates hundreds of millions of shekels for that goal to expand existing settlements, legitimize and expand existing outposts, and issue racist laws to seize private lands owned by Palestinians and put them in the service of settlements and settlers, and works to add half One million new settlers in the West Bank to the seven hundred thousand settlers who are currently in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

There is no doubt that the existence of this extremist government is a deterrent and encouragement for the settlers to practice criminal violence against the unarmed Palestinians to terrorize them and make their lives an unbearable hell in the hope that this will lead to forcing them to leave their lands and homes and leave them as a continuation of the Nakba of 1948.

Our options to confront violence and bullying
In the face of this ferocious terrorist attack, we have three options. The first is submission, surrender and departure to exile. The second is to gather our strength and mobilize all our energies to defend ourselves against this racist madness and continue to live in a state of fear and anticipation for fear of the settlers, and the third option is not to stop at the limit of self-defense, but to take the initiative and transfer the state of fear and anticipation to the court of the other party.

It is certain that our people, who sacrificed hundreds of thousands of martyrs, wounded and prisoners over a period of more than a century and did not surrender, and remained steadfast and a thorn in the throat of their enemies, will not be their first choice. He is left with the second and third options: either he lives on the tip of the spear and is motivated in light of the constant fear of settler attacks in his own backyard or when traveling on the roads and stands ready to defend himself if he is attacked, or he takes the initiative and transfers fear and terror to their court to defeat Their presence on his land leads to a state of constant panic, anxiety and fear.

President Mahmoud Abbas a few weeks ago stood on the podium of the United Nations General Assembly and addressed the conscience of the world by saying: "Protect us... Protect us..." The rest of the speech is known to all.

And if some have turned that call emanating from the depth of the Palestinian wound, which yearns for security based on justice and peace, into a material for ridicule and ridicule, which was circulated on social media on a large scale, with despair at times and gloating at times, then it can be seen as the last cry of warning before it runs out. The Palestinian is patient and finally loses his confidence in the justice of the international community, its institutions and organizations, and goes back to the beginning of his struggle, telling the world that he is a hypocritical prostitute who applies double standards and respects only the strong, and that he is the one who dropped the olive branch from the hand of the Palestinian and restored him to the legitimacy of using the gun.

Israel and the fear of prestige?

Nabil Amr

Nabil Amr

The US administration's hesitation to receive Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since his victory in the recent elections, as well as the administration's criticism of the "provocative" settlement activities and the expression of dissatisfaction with the Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, sparked mixed reactions in the political circles. Some of them are concerned about Israel's place in American priorities, while others understand the American position, and hold the Netanyahu government responsible for its decline because of its involvement in internal policies that would change the identity of the state, deepen the division at the level of the people and institutions, and increase the dose of settlement, which the US administration is still wary of.

However, the fear over America's status remains limited and addressable if the nature and basis of the relationship between America and the deep state Israel, and in particular its military security establishment, is considered.

However, what called for greater concern was the normalization of Saudi-Iranian relations, which withdrew from Israel one of the most important cards that were essential in marketing its regional influence. This danger.

It is self-evident that Israel fears for its position, as long as its government is headed by Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich and other racist legends who embrace the slogan "Death to the Arabs is a political and ideological constant."

The growing danger to Israel

And the last thing that was released in this regard is the emergence of anxiety that amounts to fear of a future and very close normalization between Egypt and Iran, because this normalization complementing the Saudi-Iranian normalization has a positive impact on the political climate in the region, as it will close many voids that were fertile grounds in which to play. This is because the most profitable Israeli investment takes place in an atmosphere of comprehensive tension in the region, which almost transformed Israel from an adversary to everyone into an influential player among all, until it seemed to many countries in the region that the relationship with it is a safety valve and a guaranteed way out of economic crises, in addition to the fact that Tel Aviv is a contractor Active and successful in relations with America and the countries that revolve around it. And if the normalization of relations between the countries of the region continues to include Turkey and Egypt, and perhaps Syria as well, then Israel's concern will increase beyond what it is.

Israel's fear of prestige is neither regional nor international, but rather domestic and Palestinian. Domestically, here is the country whose leaders have traded so much that it is the oasis of green democracy in the desert of the Middle East, settling in a situation completely contradictory to its claim, as it is heading towards a racist, non-democratic rule rejected by the majority of Israelis, and a Palestinian continues with the fiercest means and methods to rule another people who number in the millions, and seize their property. And the permissibility of his life, and care for the longest and deepest calamity known to mankind, which forced the United Nations to recognize it, and to condemn its creators who embody the only remaining occupation in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

It is self-evident that Israel fears for its position, as long as its government is headed by Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich and other racist legends who embrace the slogan "Death to the Arabs" as a political and ideological constant.

Netanyahu blocks a bill that affects international donations to Palestinian organizations

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has halted the introduction of a draft law to limit the work of non-profit organizations and their receipt of donations from foreign governments, after strong criticism from the United States and prominent European countries regarding this step.

According to the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz, the bill will not be put to a vote today before the Ministerial Committee for Legislative Affairs as planned, but will be put up for discussion as a largely symbolic measure. As the paper says.

The proposed bill seeks to impose a 65 percent tax on donations received by organizations and associations from the foreign government.

The German Foreign Ministry strongly criticized the bill and considered that implementing it would harm relations with Israel, as well as the US administration and other Western countries, warning against harming civil society organizations.

The Hebrew newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth, stated that the aim of this law is to target Palestinian associations and institutions, whether in the West Bank or even inside the Green Line, as well as left-wing associations and others.

She indicated that British Foreign Minister James Califrey called his Israeli counterpart, Eli Cohen, and asked him to refrain from passing the law, while the latter replied that Israel would not accept any country's interference in its internal affairs related to the conflict with the Palestinians.

Cohen's position regarding the law is that if there are donations from foreign governments to humanitarian causes such as building a hospital or buying medicine or food, they should be allowed without incurring taxes and not a single shekel should be taken. However, if money from foreign governments goes to things like Construction in Area C, incitement in textbooks or support for organizations linked to "terrorist" organizations must be completely prevented. It was also reported by Yedioth Ahronoth.

For the 21st week in a row: renewed protests against the Netanyahu government and the weakening of the judiciary

On Saturday evening, protests against the Netanyahu government's plan to weaken the judiciary and undermine the powers of the Supreme Court were renewed, for the 21st week in a row.

Thousands demonstrated in the central demonstration on "Kaplan" Street in Tel Aviv, as well as in other towns and junctions, including Holon, Ramleh, Haifa, Ramat Hasharon, Jerusalem, Herzliya, Arad and others.

In the demonstration at the "Karkur" junction, dozens of demonstrators interrupted the speech of the head of the Labor Party, Merav Michaeli, by booing and calling for her resignation.

The Israeli police closed many streets, including central streets in the country, coinciding with the protests.

Today's protests come for the first time after the approval of the state's general budget for the years 2023 and 2024.

The protest organizers referred to Netanyahu's speech after the approval of the general budget, in which he stressed that "the plan to reform the judiciary will return."

The organizers of the protests said that "Netanyahu himself admitted that he directed him towards dictatorship, and it became clear that the talks at the home of the president, Isaac Herzog, were nothing but a ploy by Netanyahu to buy time and bribe his partners."

They added that "in the first round, only one thing stopped Netanyahu, which was the protest of millions, which will stop him again."

Assault on a young man in Hebron and clashes in Ramallah

On Saturday, an Israeli military force assaulted the young man, Omar Jaradat, after stopping him at the entrance to the town of Sa’ir, east of Hebron, at a time when clashes broke out in the villages of Nabi Saleh and Aboud, north of Ramallah.

President Abbas: The establishment of the PLO is one of the most important achievements of Palestinian politics

President Mahmoud Abbas said that the Palestine Liberation Organization preserved the national decision for an independent and protected the national project from being lost, stressing that the establishment of the organization and its representation of our people is one of the most important achievements of Palestinian politics.

On the 59th anniversary of the founding of the organization, President Abbas added that its establishment came to thwart the plans of the global Zionist movement and the Israeli occupation that sought to obliterate the identity of the Palestinian people, and to be the opposite of this Zionist project, as it became the political and moral house and the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, and it won the recognition of the whole world.

The President praised the first founders of the Palestine Liberation Organization, headed by the late Palestinian leader Ahmed Al-Shugairi, and everyone who worked to preserve this important national achievement, stressing the role of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" and all the factions of the Liberation Organization in preserving it.

He pointed out that the PLO has assumed its representative capacity for the Palestinian people through sacrifices and convoys of martyrs and prisoners, stressing that it will remain the sole and legitimate representative of our people, and that all suspicious attempts to circumvent it and find alternatives to it will fall.

The President said: The organization, during its long journey, went through very difficult stages, targeting its existence, but it remained steadfast in the face of all the conspirators, bearing the concerns and suffering of our Palestinian people in all places of their presence, and their aspirations to obtain freedom and independence like the rest of the peoples of the world.

He called on all Palestinians to join the organization and rally around its comprehensive national program, stressing that it will remain the bearer of the banner of the Palestinian people and their struggle, and it will continue because it represents the Palestinian people and signs in its name, and advances the ranks in its name, and it will remain until the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Sources to Al-Quds: Efforts are continuing to disburse the Qatari grant in Gaza

Well-informed Palestinian sources confirmed, this evening, Saturday, that efforts are still continuing to disburse the Qatari grant for the benefit of the needy families in the Gaza Strip.

The sources indicated, in an interview with Al-Quds.com, that contacts are still ongoing between the relevant parties in the file, including Qatar, the leadership of the "Hamas" movement, the United Nations, as well as the Israeli side.

The sources indicated that the Israeli occupation does not object to disbursing the grant in its previous form for the benefit of poor families, but it objects to increasing the amounts and increasing the number of beneficiaries, especially the employees affiliated with the "Hamas" movement.

She stressed that the solution to the crisis may take place at any moment, and announcing its disbursement.

A limited number of Hamas employees benefit from the Qatari grant, according to a previously agreed upon agreement, and not in large numbers as it was in its beginnings.

The Qatari grant includes payments related to the financing of fuel for the Gaza Power Station.

The late disbursement of the grant caused fears that it might be prevented from being disbursed, especially in light of a lot of news circulating about disputes regarding it.

The Qatari ambassador, Mohammed Al-Emadi, left the Gaza Strip a few days ago after a visit that lasted for several days, without disbursing the grant, which raised questions about what is going on, and intense anticipation from the beneficiaries.

Iraq announces a land link project between the Gulf states and Turkey

During a conference that brought together officials from neighboring countries in Baghdad on Saturday, Iraq announced a land and railway project connecting the Gulf to the Turkish border, through which Iraq aspires to become a main line for transporting goods between the Middle East and Europe.

The project, which the Iraqi government has set at a cost of about $17 billion and a length of 1,200 km inside Iraq, is still in its early stages.

Baghdad aspires to implement this project in cooperation with countries in the region, namely Qatar, the Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia, whose representatives from the ministries of transport were invited on Saturday to Baghdad to participate in the conference dedicated to announcing the project.

In a speech during the opening of the conference on Saturday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani said, "We see in this sustainable project a pillar of a sustainable non-oil economy, a link that serves Iraq's neighbors and the region, and a contribution to economic integration efforts."

According to a statement by the Transport and Economy Committee in the House of Representatives, reported by the Iraqi News Agency, the project will be "an investment for the participating countries, and each country can complete part of the project."

The statement indicated that "it is hoped that the project will be completed within 3-5 years," adding that "the investment mechanism will be discussed after the conference is held with the participating countries."

Iraq, rich in oil, suffers from deterioration in its infrastructure and roads as a result of decades of wars and widespread corruption.

Some of the roads that connect Baghdad to the north pass through areas where cells of the Islamic State organization are active on a sporadic basis.

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani affirms that one of his government's priorities is to rehabilitate the transport and road infrastructure, as well as the dilapidated electricity sector as well.

This project, called the "Development Road", allows Iraq to exploit its geographical location and turn it into a transit point for goods and trade between the Gulf and Europe.

There are works currently underway to rehabilitate Al-Faw port in the far south of Iraq and adjacent to the Gulf countries, which will be a basic station for receiving goods before transporting them by land.

The project also aims to build 15 train stations for goods and passengers along the line, starting from Basra in the south, passing through Baghdad, and reaching the border with Turkey.

On the anniversary of its founding... Calls for a national dialogue and the rejection of any alternative to the PLO

Hussein Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, called on Saturday for a comprehensive national dialogue that fortifies and protects the capabilities, heritage, history and goals of the Palestinian people in freedom and independence under the leadership of the Liberation Organization, the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinians.

In his tweet, the Sheikh affirmed that the PLO will remain the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, once again the "covenant" to fulfill the idea, goals and voice of this frontal framework that unites all the components of the Palestinian people, and to continue the struggle and struggle to embody the independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. like he said.

In the context, the "Fatah" movement said in a statement that the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1964 is one of the most important national achievements after the Nakba. In 1969, and it won Arab and international recognition as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people in 1974. As stated in the text of its statement on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the founding of the organization.

She added: "The organization and its national factions, under the leadership of the Fatah movement, were able to reunite the Palestinian people under its umbrella, revive and strengthen the Palestinian national identity, embody the independent Palestinian entity in exile, and bring the Palestinian cause back to the center of attention and to the equations of the Middle East and the political world." And for this issue to return to the agenda of the United Nations as a political issue and national rights, after an absence that lasted more than a quarter of a century, and after the Zionist movement believed that it had ended the existence of Palestine and the Palestinian people in the Nakba of 1948.

Fatah affirmed that it would not allow the organization to be harmed as it is the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, and that it would firmly confront suspicious attempts by paid parties to create alternatives to the organization or meager bodies parallel to it, noting that it had fought battles after battles and made sacrifices in order to preserve the organization. and its independent national decision.

Fatah called on the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements to join the organization, explaining that any process of rebuilding or correcting some aspects of the PLO is not done through attempts to liquidate it or create alternatives for it, but rather by joining it and working collectively and on national bases for its advancement.

Fatah stressed that the division is one of the most important reasons for the weakening of the organization, and even the weakening of the Palestinian people and their true resistance to the abhorrent Israeli occupation, noting that ending the division is the correct approach, not only to correct the situation of the organization, but also to the entire national struggle and the Palestinian national movement. According to her statement.

The "Fatah" movement called on the masses of the Palestinian people to unite and cohesion in the face of the continuous Israeli aggression against our people, and to confront the plans to Judaize our historical homeland Palestine, warning against suspicious attempts to undermine our national gains that were achieved through huge sacrifices, and to turn back the hands of time and obliterate the Palestinian national existence. Pointing out that the Palestine Liberation Organization will remain the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, and this representative capacity is a red line that prevents approaching it.

How to resolve disputes in areas not controlled by the law?!

Jerusalem Hadith

Jerusalem Hadith

Opinion Writer

The rule of law is the most important matter that achieves justice and resolves various disputes, and the state and its men must make the law the master of the situation and the first and greatest means of providing justice and resolving any disputes, and this is agreed upon, but the issue has other aspects.

We Arabs in general, in our estimation, represent a dominant clan mentality, and the law, whatever it may be, often stands as a powerless apparatus that cannot resolve all disputes. Here, alternative means of resolving disputes emerge. A conference was held on this issue in Ramallah in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shalaldeh, Dr. Amal Hamad, the Palestinian Minister of Women’s Affairs, and a large number of experts, jurists, and stakeholders from local bodies, institutions, and actors in working with arbitration and alternative means to courts in accordance with the law. These groups certainly do not work against the law or as an alternative to it. Subject to the Palestinian state law.

Here, the importance of the role of arbitration committees and those working in accordance with clan influence, traditions and customs is evident. Clan leaders have the greatest role in this context, but something else is required.

The meeting recommended the establishment of an institution specialized in peaceful and ethical means of disputes, the provision of materials that explain the concept of these alternative means, and the training and qualification of those working in them in cooperation with the mediators of the clan leaders.

We are certainly with the rule of law always and in all locations and times, but there are cases and regions in which there is no effective control to implement the law, and here comes the alternative role, which is the tribal and similar arbitration committees, provided that this is in accordance with legal concepts.

Conflicts and disagreements in our society are many, and sometimes they develop into bloodshed, with great regret, and here things must evolve to find alternatives if the law does not have field sovereignty, and these alternatives are the tribal rulings that must be completely consistent with the law and implement it in these areas, in order to prevail in Our society has a spirit of understanding and resolving disputes through peaceful, just community methods... The spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation prevails.

Jeddah Summit and the King of the Arabs

Bakr Abu Bakr

Bakr Abu Bakr

Opinion Writer

It is necessary and important for the Arabs to hold their summit at the level of leaders periodically, and it is important for the different leaders to converge in a wide area - within the framework of the Arab League and others - capable of activating the missing dialogue, the desired cooperation and the hoped-for unification, albeit in the minimal forms required.

This summit comes in light of a lack of dialogue between multiple parties within many Arab countries between its various components, and it comes in light of clear regional and global crises and interventions in more than one Arab country, and in our Palestinian file, and it also comes in light of clouds hanging over the relations between (and in) a number of Arab countries, in addition to the contradiction or divergence of priorities between different countries.

Some may view the summit from a perpetually pessimistic perspective as a forum for loud words, a space for dialogues that have a germinating effect, or cut off from what preceded it, or what will follow it, based on previous summits so that the decisions of the summits become an impact after an eye once the leaders turn their backs on their seats at the summit and return to their countries, and in this An approach that deserves attention, care, follow-up, and criticism if the conference decisions are not connected on paper with real decisions, will, and actions that make countries and citizens feel in their country the true value of the results of these conferences.

For the Arab summit to have the virtue of bringing together the Arabs periodically, this is an important matter, and for it to limit priorities in a specific statement, this is undoubtedly important, and as stated in the thirty points of the Jeddah Declaration (19/5/2023 AD).

We can say, as a preliminary reading, that the current Jeddah summit is one of the most important Arab summits, not because it achieved recognition of the Libyan leadership (and the efforts of the joint military committee) under one executive leadership, the legitimate government in Yemen, and the official Sudanese leadership, and not with the continuous affirmation of preserving the independence of the State of Palestine and respect for the Arab initiative. And thus pushed back the "follow-up" of the Israeli, contrary to what the Americans and "Netanyahu" promoted. Rather, it is also able to create or perpetuate the event and cause penetration and the embodiment of independence, as happened in more than one matter, on top of which is the introduction of official Syria into the Arab League, and the call for the exit of all foreign powers from it and other countries, despite the many reservations of the Syrian opposition against the current regime on the one hand, and on the other hand. On the other hand, the US government.

Nothing but an emphasis on the independence, cooperation and support of the Arab countries...etc. The progress of a broad collective step has been evident through the call for "creating conditions, investing opportunities, strengthening and consolidating partnerships and consolidating understandings between Arab countries on the basis of common interests, and cooperation to achieve the goals of sustainable development, And the implementation of ambitious development visions through a comprehensive renaissance in all fields to keep abreast of global developments, and to create a future that meets the hopes and aspirations of the Arab peoples, "as stated in the text of the declaration, which will represent a real, great and qualitative leap towards building a unitary Arab body of interests within the aforementioned criteria, if this preparation, investment and dedication is permitted. Consolidation, interests, cooperation, and visions are to be linked to the common unifying values of our civilization and our nation, and to the will of an effective and sincere leadership - if any - that puts them into practice, so that the nation shows the truth of its bright face.

With regard to our main cause, that is, the Arab-Palestinian cause, interest in it has not deviated from what happened in previous summits, and this is a good thing. However, the nature of the decisions - as we stress - remains incomplete as long as the material support for the cause was stopped years ago and has not been restored until then.

To the foregoing, the Jeddah Summit was able to prove that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents a real regional power, with global capabilities that cannot be avoided. Especially its non-affiliated, but independent policy. This was evident in the Saudi-Iranian agreement on the one hand, and supported by the declaration. And in the developing relations with China, the "rising dragon" to destroy American monopoly in the world, and in the ability to achieve balance with global problems through what appeared to be the invitation of the Ukrainian president to attend the summit, and by reading the speech of the Russian president at the summit.

The summit was able to achieve the actual overcoming of all American objections about the person of His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was installed by the Arabs as their king for the first time and publicly during the era of the hostile American democratic rule, and for the second time after the "Trump" era.

The profound sentence of the Saudi Crown Prince, which proves the desire to give the summits their pan-Arab value, which was enshrined in the Jeddah Declaration, was evident through his important conclusion when he said, "Our Arab homeland possesses civilized and cultural elements, and human and natural resources, which qualifies it to assume an advanced and leadership position. Achieving a comprehensive renaissance for our countries and peoples in all fields.
Saudi Arabia, headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was able to send several messages to all countries that Saudi Arabia, the Queen of the Arabs, with its independent and unifying policy, will no longer be subject to blackmail or "milking", as is the case in light of the short view of many Western countries and America, and perhaps some Arab countries too, but mutual interests and "civilized foundations" are the first and last arbiter in the Kingdom's decisions.

Hamas victory and credibility

Hamada Pharaohs

Hamada Pharaohs

In the Universities of An-Najah and Birzeit, the "Hamas" movement achieved the victory of its student organization in the elections of the student councils of the two Palestinian universities, thus taking precedence over the "Fatah" movement, its main competitor.

Ismail Haniyeh, head of its political bureau, described this success as "an extension of the movement's balanced presence at various levels and areas," stressing "his movement's adherence to the general presidential and legislative elections for the Authority, and the elections for the National Council of the PLO, and its willingness to hold student elections in all Gaza universities," calling on all Palestinians to Engage in the necessary arrangements for its conduct.

Ismail Haniyeh and the rest of the leaders of the "Hamas" movement have the right to brag about their electoral or political results and successes, or any form of political and organizational presence. They deserve this as a reflection of the Palestinian popular biases towards what the "Hamas" movement represents.

It is clear that the victory of the "Hamas" movement and the tangible successes it achieved in the Legislative Council elections, and what it obtained with the parliamentary majority, qualified it to assume the presidency of the Legislative Council, Abdulaziz Dweik, and to form the government headed by Ismail Haniyeh himself, and this was done under the leadership and management of the head of the Fatah movement, President The Palestinian Authority, the head of the Liberation Organization, and now, "Hamas" has achieved victory among the student councils of An-Najah and Birzeit Universities over the "Fatah" movement under the "Fatah" movement's administration of the Authority in Ramallah, which means and confirms despite all the observations that can be made on this matter. The movement and its monopoly on power and the leadership of the Liberation Organization, that it has a wide margin of commitment to pluralism and respect for the results of the ballot boxes, whether it was public mass, as happened to it in the Legislative Council elections, or student elections, as happened in the elections for the two universities’ councils: An-Najah and Birzeit.

However, when moving on to talk about what is happening in the Gaza Strip, the monopoly, exclusivity, and domination characterize Hamas. It monopolizes power and does not allow, work, or call for elections for two reasons. The first is because it does not believe in elections and does not work for them as long as they control the decision and the power to make decisions. Its people, which it ruled with authoritarianism, exclusivity, and unilateralism, and it and its administration annoy the people of the Gaza Strip and push young people to flee the Strip by taking the path of adventures and escaping through the sea, or towards the 48 areas, or towards Egypt, escaping from hunger, poverty, and the results of what resulted from its “military option” decision to seize the sole power From June 2007 until today.

The "Fatah" movement, despite all the observations that can be made about its management, policies, and actions, but it submits to the values of pluralism and the results of the ballot boxes, even if the "Hamas" movement wins against and confronts it, while the "Hamas" movement deprives the people of the Strip from any form of student elections. Or trade union or municipality, instead of presenting the Gaza Strip as a model for its people and in front of the world, not to be a copy similar to the Taliban movement in Afghanistan, or beg others in the areas of control of organizations of one color, the leadership organization and excessive unilateralism.

The credibility of what Ismail Haniyeh said or his denial is revealed if a decision is issued to hold elections for the Gaza university students’ councils, or if the arguments for their absence remain, as is the case since Hamas’s unilateral control of the Gaza Strip since 2007 until now.

Walid Daqqa... What are we doing?

Walid Al-Hodali

Walid Al-Hodali

Opinion Writer

Talking about the "burial of the living" over and over again is nothing but ruminations of pain and tragedy in the worst possible way, as if it has become formal solidarity that does not fatten or suffice from hunger. Therefore, the conversation should focus only on: What are we to do?
If the word did not do the bullet, then there is no need for it, especially when we are facing a man who has bled a lot, and there is only a sliver of life left.

Today, Walid Dakka is tired of banging on the walls of his treasury, and he can no longer do so.

He sounded politely and thoughtfully for many years, as if I had heard him alive to move and do his duty and strive hard to liberate him and the sick prisoners before it was too late.

He beat with his flesh and blood, which loses part of it every day, which shakes our consciences and awakens our hearts from their slumber, or at least from their death.

During the years of his long imprisonment, the iron and the walls of the prison churned a lot, so the dishes increased on him.,,, He knocked on what was freed from the sperm, which became a human being that disturbed all our souls and feelings, so it began to call its father and wait for the warmth of his bosom and his swallowed and burning heart, longing for a moment of meeting.

The messages he sent and the media he stirred sounded like something that breaks the heart and breaks the heart.

We return to the central question.. What are we doing? What is required immediately and quickly?
I believe that a personality in this situation and with a unique history of struggle is an opportunity to mobilize the Palestinian street and show the national, religious and moral duty on its origins. This is an opportunity for the street to bring out the best of what it has in order to lift this abhorrent injustice. It must not be lost as it was lost by Khader Adnan. And Nasser Abu Hamid and the list is long, and I say about it an opportunity because moving the street on an issue of this size is possible, but it needs the factions to put their weight and take the appropriate decision, so is this a priority for the factions, for example we saw the size of the attendance in the Birzeit University elections because the factions have a will It moves in this arena, and this is not a defect, by the way, but why not make the decision also here and seize this opportunity to bring out the required street to do its work and show our enemies the value of our men and the value of their freedom, which is not equal to anything.

What Israel is doing, which has raised the ceiling of its crimes, requires us to raise the ceiling of our challenges and to press with all our might to compel the occupation to release Walid against his will. It is experience and what has become known by virtue of long experience that this occupation is not motivated by anything other than pressure that exposes its interests to harm, and this is the only thing that makes it recalculate.

The repercussions of the rise of the European right on the issues of our people and their freedom

Marwan Emile Tobasi

Marwan Emile Tobasi

Opinion Writer

As long as the European Union is still moving towards the United States and following the pattern of its foreign policies on most world issues, including our Palestinian cause, the Union cannot abandon staying in the orbit of American foreign policies in light of the continued presence of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and NATO whose policies determine the United States.

Since the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the eastern socialist camp, the unipolar world order has stabilized through all forms of hegemony led by the United States, which imposed its policies and positions on its allies, specifically on the countries of the European Union, which today suffer from mounting hysteria in the face of the new neoliberal crisis on the one hand, and the repercussions of Britain's exit from the Union on the other hand and the repercussions of NATO's proxy war in Ukraine and the US-European-Atlantic sanctions on Russia as well as the threats against China on the third hand, which are reflected on the peoples of Europe who are now paying a heavy price for that in terms of energy, the collapsing economic conditions and the emergence of demonstrations As a result, the popularity of European cities against the policies and procedures of their governments that are controlled by the right-wing or conservative center-right parties, regardless of the differences that have begun to emerge between a number of European Union countries, which threaten the continued existence of this economic-political framework.

In the midst of all these political and economic interferences and the international transformations taking place in the world towards waiting for the end of the unipolar system with the rise of new international players paving the way for a multi-international system, as well as the rise of left forces in most of the elections of the Latin continent, the most important of which is Brazil.

However, with regard to the West and according to the results of elections that took place in many European Union countries, the most recent of which was the Greek parliamentary elections last week, which led to the advancement of the conservative right and the rise of a new right-wing populist party in it in front of the decline in the strength of the main left-wing opposition party in it and the limited size of other left-wing parties that could not As a whole, they must form a parliamentary majority, at a time when they were able to do so in previous years, bearing in mind that the Greek voter will again go to new elections according to the constitution next month, "June", supporting a complex system as a result of the inability of any of the parties to form a government now.

The victory of the right in a number of European countries against the decline of the parties of the left in them
As a result of the repercussions of the crisis of its lack of unity on the basis of common denominators and the different interpretations of the intellectual identity of the European left and its role in the current stage, in addition to the pressures on the governments of left-wing parties in Europe on the part of America and the European Bank, as well as the Israeli interventions, are some of the reasons that explain the victory of the right in Greece and other European countries. With the exception of a number of a few countries now, after the parties of the European left were advanced in many of them in the past years, as is also the case in Greece, Italy, Spain and other countries, these are developments that impede the possibility of curbing the expansion of the European right and open the way for the possibility of the arrival of the extreme and populist right and the forces of neo-Nazism To rule in those countries and other Eastern European countries, and allows for the continuation of the rule of the right-wing and center-right parties in them, which hinders the existence of clear and explicit policies towards opposing the Israeli occupation and prevents the recognition of the State of Palestine by the European Union countries according to the recommendations of many of the parliaments of those countries and keeps it ink on Paper if continued rule of the right-wing parties.

On the other hand, the continuation of this structural crisis of the European left in its various currents, as long as it does not unify its efforts, keeps those European countries revolving in the orbit of NATO policies led by the United States of America, which does not want Europe to depart from its political subordination to it, which is drawn by the ruling circles there, specifically the military industrial complexes and Ras Money in order to protect the policies of American hegemony and its interests, which still dominate many decision-making circles in Europe, especially the right-wing and those with savage neoliberal thought towards peoples' social issues, freedoms and justice.

The question now is, how will this be reflected in the reality of solidarity with our Palestinian national cause at a time when the European right, in general, has historically stood by Israeli policies since its colonial inception, despite the moderation of some of its personalities, and how can we confront that in order to strengthen solidarity with the European peoples and influence the policies of the union? The European that was distinguished and now represented in what Ursla van der Leyen said recently regarding her systematic defense of the occupying state on the anniversary of its alleged independence?
Recently, a few days ago, the right-wing parties in the Portuguese Parliament did not hesitate to take a decision to support and back Israeli policies, in a precedent that is the first at the level of European parliaments. Ten European countries ruled by right-wing parties also withdrew from the Nakba commemoration ceremony held by the United Nations last week. And a ceremony was held in the Italian Parliament in the presence of the Speaker of the Israeli Knesset and the Speaker of the Italian Parliament, who inaugurated a joint art exhibition entitled "75 years since the founding of Israel and on history and joint parliamentary democracy", and other forms of convergence and joint cooperation in various fields, including military and security, in addition to the energy and gas sector and the establishment of Alliances sponsored by the United States.

This is in addition to the role of the right-wing parties in the European Parliament, which were characterized by double standards and political hypocrisy that serve the policies and positions of the occupying state, and their absolute bias towards the sayings of "Israel's democracy" and "equality of the victim with the executioner" and "Israel's right to defend itself"...!

This is happening now under the control of right-wing parties, after most European parliaments between 2015 and 2018 had taken their decisions either unanimously, as was the case in Greece, or by majority in other European countries, including Britain, Portugal, Italy, and others, for example, by calling on their governments to recognize the State of Palestine, as Sweden did, which It is now ruled by the right, which expresses its intentions to back down from it to please Israel. This is in addition to the presence of the extreme right in some European countries such as Hungary and the Czech Republic, which prevent the issuance of any decision condemning the policies of the occupying power in the European Union and express their intention to move their embassies to Jerusalem from time to time.

This victory and the rise of the European right, with the exception of some cases of countries in which the poles of the left united, including the communists and socialists under the name of the "new left" in France, for example, which formed an important bloc within its parliament.

The rise of the right will contribute to the preservation and exacerbation of the economic crisis and the state of economic austerity, in a way that has nothing to do with the real interests of the European peoples according to the economic and social policies of the European neoliberal right. American policies in Ukraine and what has to do with anti-East in general and support for the policies of the occupying power.

What the Israelis face, on the other hand, is a real challenge represented by the possible expansion of the left camp in Europe and the world, which is no less than the problem of anti-Semitism invented by the Zionist movement. The danger now is that all the positions of the European right in support of Israel can be officially passed quietly and without reaction other than the challenges of the popular and friendly forces there.

The question remains, to what extent will we be ready for broader relations with those mass popular movements that are characterized by a progressive leftist spirit, as well as the European solidarity and boycott movements, and support them as much as we can to enable them to be effective in hostile to the colonial occupation state and its racist face, and to contribute with them in creating a hostile international front? For apartheid and in order to suspend the membership of the occupying state in the United Nations, which requires us ourselves to renew our policies and positions on that matter to present Israel as a colonial apartheid state before the world, and ourselves as a national liberation movement in order to achieve our right to self-determination and national independence and with a bold and clear resistance speech that the world needs To keep hearing from us.

We also have to persevere and make breakthroughs with political courage, struggle against the most heinous occupation and racist movement, and confront the policy of the colonial occupation state and the Zionist vision of exploiting religious issues and the issues back against them regarding alleged anti-Semitism.

We have to work in the official and popular European political forums and arenas, expand the base of friends without losing anyone, and look positively at the new economic and political blocs emerging in the world today away from the absolute American hegemony that they are still trying to impose and take us to the mirage of managing the conflict without resolving it.

Lilac burning

The beauty of the marsh

The beauty of the marsh

Opinion Writer

My title was inspired by a poem by the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, “The Despair of Lilacs,” in which he strikes his sad building against the reality of the Arab nation and its political retreat until it reaches despair over its broken stagnation and the state of collective slippage and racing to the bottom of the gutter, despite his return before the completion of the poem and throwing a seed of hope For a new resurrection from the ashes of disunity and diaspora... The process of using the contradictory statement (oxymoron) - and the term was mentioned in Nabil Tannous's book "Tracking the Butterfly ... A Study in Mahmoud Darwish's Poetry" 2019 - which was summed up in the title of the poem "The Despair of Lilacs", was Sufficient to shed light and capable of diagnosing and reading the hopeless reality of the nation, and I see that this graphic marriage that Darwish resolved between two contradictions (negative and positive) and combined them in one graphic linguistic template "Lilac Despair" has added a new understanding and given a more in-depth reading of the Arab situation and its circumstances.

In fact, after a careful and willing reading of the poem, I was struck by the idea of writing this article “The Burning of Lilacs” in an attempt to highlight another meaning and generate a new understanding for the contradictory, given that the part is of the whole and that the whole works and interacts with the activity of the part, that is, if the part is effective, and the possibility of capturing keys Moving the "whole" and directing it to the goals and objectives of the part.

I write “the burning of the lilac” like a candle that breathes its breath at the end of the long night of chains, perhaps a knight of ancient memories will lead him astray, and he will walk the mountains of the forgotten so that he will see their scarce wilting and raise his voice. Patience has returned from the arrows they throw in the air of sterile hope, and what remains of their burning is a burning that warms the ashes of their souls, as if the cry of "Darwish" to the deaf passers-by swaying between the blacksmith's hammers in the market of reproduction of contradictory concepts and their opposition increased their deafness.

Darwish saw us through the eyes of his poem, and we were planting the lilac flower from the holes of our cells in the garden of our dreams, on the day the moon was split, and when the stars shed tears for our youthful spirit, and he saw us watering our nights with sweat, joy, and sorrow, with an Arabic language and a Canaanite dialect so that we could live with it and that it would live in us. Its lilies we sleep under it burning in each other like a tired phoenix of a thousand years we sleep under its shadows burning in each other for nothing but perhaps we will be resurrected from our ashes again and the tribes of the tired of the people of the revolution have been "decimated" and other tribes have risen from the ashes of yesterday so that The feather of a phoenix flies with our souls and we fly With its wings from our yesterday to our eternal tomorrow, after the innocent tribes of our people have transmitted the song of mating pigeons with Hadil "Darwish" while he plays his miserable flute on the strings of our wishes (the captives) and says
"Listen to my body, death has fruit
And life has a life that you don't renew
Except on a body.. that listens to a body
And finally: we must have an innocent, healthy body on which we support our tired bodies from the burden of chains and years, and we must burn between the whole and the part, not for nothing, but to be freed from our burdens!

We must re-register our names in the newspapers of our tribes so that we can call them today and they will come back to us tomorrow.

Italian Championship: Milan poles to settle qualification for the Champions League

Milan poles AC Milan and Inter can settle the last two cards that qualify for the Champions League next season when the first is a guest on Juventus, and the second receives Atalanta in the thirty-seventh and penultimate stage of the Italian Football League.

The champion, Napoli, and his pursuer, Lazio, secured the first two cards for the most important continental competition.

Inter ranks third with 66 points, and Milan fourth with 64.

Juventus was a candidate to snatch one of the cards qualifying for the Champions League, but it suffered a heavy blow on Monday when the Italian Federation decided to deduct 10 points from its balance due to fraud and illegal financial activity, so it fell from second to seventh place, before suffering a few hours after this decision to a severe loss against Empoli 1-4, ending his hopes of participating in the Champions League.

The two strikes added to the disappointment of Juventus' exit from the semi-finals of the "Europa League" competition at the hands of Seville last Thursday.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri commented on the punishment that afflicted his team after his team lost to Empoli, saying, "On the field, Juventus remain in second place, and this must remain clear (...). Then, this evening, we could have done better. But the circumstances were special.

He added, "I will not blame the players. I can assure you that it was not easy for them (...). It is an abnormal and surreal situation, but they did their best."

And he continued, “A quarter of an hour before the match, we were in second place, then we ended up with 59 points (seventh place). I accept all criticism, but it is different when you play a match and you are in second place, 5 points ahead of Milan fifth, and when it is necessary You have to win and come back again."

At the San Siro stadium, Inter will host its fifth neighbor, Atalanta, who is behind it by 5 points, and therefore a draw will suffice for him to snatch the continental card, noting that he has another chance in the last stage or when he plays the Champions League final against Manchester City on June 10 at Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul.

"We have two league games and then the final for a great end to the season," said Inter coach Filippo Inzaghi, who won the Italian Cup after beating Fiorentina 2-1 on Wednesday.

As for Milan, three teams can overtake it, which are Atalanta, Roma, and its rival on Sunday, Juventus, and therefore it may receive a service from its neighbor Inter in the event that the latter wins against Atalanta or draws with it, and in this case, Milan’s victory over Juventus will give him the last ticket to the Champions League.

With regard to relegation, Cremonese and Sampdoria fell to the second division, and the identity of the last relegation was confined to Verona, Lecce and Spezia.

52- Milan has more victories over Juventus than any other team, but despite that, Juventus still surpasses it in the history of confrontations between them, as it achieved 67 wins against 52 losses and 56 draws in 175 matches that brought them together in the domestic league.

23- Nigerian Napoli striker Victor Osimhen scored 23 goals and is ahead of Argentine Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, by 3 goals, two stages before the end of the league.

Spain Championship: Sociedad to settle its ticket to the Champions League for the first time in a decade

Real Sociedad hopes to settle its ticket to the Champions League competition next season, after a decade, when it visits Atletico Madrid on Sunday at the summit of the thirty-seventh and penultimate stage of the Spanish Football League.

The Basque team, led by its coach Emmanuel Alguasil, hit hard in the last seven stages and gained 17 points out of 21 possible, including two resounding victories over the poles of Spanish football, its guest Real Madrid 2-0 and its host Barcelona, champion 2-1.

Real Sociedad occupies fourth place with 68 points, five points ahead of Villarreal, its only competitor for the fourth and last ticket to qualify for the prestigious continental competition, which is a guest on the 12th Rayo Vallecano.

The Basque club needs only two points in its last two matches against Atletico and Seville, but it is determined to continue its series of positive results by overcoming the third Atletico Madrid, which gave up second place in favor of its neighbor and arch-rival Real Madrid, by falling into a tie trap in front of its host Espanyol 3-3 after it was ahead by three. clean.

Real Sociedad is well aware that his victory will give him the last card to the continental competition, regardless of the outcome of the match. 2 at Villarreal.

Real Sociedad Al-Nafy finished the season in third place for the first time since 2003.

Sociedad is five points behind Atletico Madrid, and in the event of its victory over it, it also excels in both confrontations (a 1-1 draw in the fourth stage).

Real Suedad is playing the match in the absence of its veteran playmaker, David Silva, due to a calf injury that kept him out of the last two league matches.

The 37-year-old playmaker, who signed a new contract until 2024, has been a mainstay of Real Sociedad's stellar season and their highly anticipated return to the top level of European football for the first time since 2013.

Real Sociedad is counting on another veteran, midfielder Asier Yarramendi, who will leave his team at the end of the season at the end of his contract.

The 33-year-old wrote an emotional message this week detailing his farewell and taking pictures with his teammates and the King's Cup crowned champion in 2021.

That trophy, the team's first major trophy since winning it also in 1987, was a sign of the strong comeback of the Basque team.

Real Sociedad has important weapons in its ranks, the most prominent of which remains defensive midfielder Martin Subimendi, who is nominated to move to Barcelona to replace the departure of its captain Sergio Busquets, along with Japanese talent Takefusa Kubo, who scored the winning goal against Almeria (1-0) on Tuesday.

"Here, if you relax, the next day you will be on the bench. On that day, the new players who came showed that they have the level to beat Barcelona," said the former Real Madrid player, after defeating the Catalan club in his own home for the first time since 1991.

Barcelona, crowned with the title, seeks to restore balance when it hosts Real Mallorca on Sunday on Spotify Camp Nou.
Barcelona disappointed after winning the title when it beat its neighbor and host Espanyol 4-2 in the middle of this month, suffering two consecutive defeats against its guest Real Sociedad 1-2 and its host Valladolid 1-3.

And after conceding only 11 goals in 33 matches, the Catalan club scored seven goals in its last three matches.

Barcelona hopes that Real Mallorca will host it, its last this season, at its “Spotify Camp Nou” stadium, to celebrate in front of its fans the farewell of its captains, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, who decided to leave at the end of the season.

It is noteworthy that the Barcelona stadium will be closed until November 2024 due to its restoration and expansion works, as it will play its home matches at the Luis Companes Olympic Stadium.

The stage opens on Saturday with an early summit, Seville X, with its guest, Real Madrid II.

The match is of great importance to the two teams, as it is a rehearsal for Sevilla before hosting the Italian capital team, while the Royal Club hopes to continue its awakening and secure second place before hosting Athletic Bilbao in the final stage.

Real Madrid succeeded in regaining second place in the last stage when it defeated its guest and neighbor Rayo Vallecano 2-1, taking advantage of the stumbling of its neighbor Atletico against Espanyol 3-3.

Away from the first four places and the last qualifying card to the Champions League, the stage is witnessing decisive matches to avoid catching up with Elche to the second degree.

Seven teams will compete for survival: Valencia and Celta Vigo (40 points each), Almeria (39), Cadiz, Getafe and Valladolid (38 each) and Espanyol (35).

The stage witnesses three heated confrontations between clubs threatened with relegation, so Valencia XIII plays with Espanyol XIX penultimate, Cadiz XVI with Celta Vigo XIV, and Almeria XV with Valladolid XVIII.
Getafe XVII hopes to take advantage of the ground workers and the public to overcome the hurdle of Osasuna VII and the runner-up of the cup competition.

In two marginal matches, Athletic Bilbao VIII plays with the last Elche, and Girona Ninth plays with Real Betis VI.
Sunday matches will be held at the same time, in accordance with the principle of equal opportunities between teams.

French Championship: Saint-Germain for a record eleventh title

After Paris Saint-Germain clinched the French Football League title for a record eleventh time in theory last week, it stands in the penultimate 37th stage, a point away from officially clinching it when it comes to Strasbourg on Saturday.

The Parisian club is six points ahead of Lens II, who hosts Ajaccio (84 vs. 78), and a draw against Strasbourg will suffice for it to achieve its second title in a row and the eleventh in its history to end the partnership with Saint-Etienne.

Although it is heading towards a ninth title in the league in the last 11 seasons, its incompleteness after two stages before the end reflects the difficulties that the Qatari-owned team has suffered from in recent months.

This season I suffered six defeats in the league, which has not happened in the eight years during which it won the title since the Qatari takeover in 2011.

And while achieving the league title has become considered a foregone conclusion, if it is true, given the difference in financial capabilities with other clubs and the resonant names it has in its ranks, some evaluate the Saint-Germain season in sympathy with its continental results.

This season came again as a disappointment after being knocked out of the final price by Bayern Munich, similar to last season when it fell to Spanish Real Madrid, to continue the search for the first title in the Champions League in its history.

And while Argentine Lionel Messi appears on his way to leave the club's walls two seasons after his arrival, it seems that the bet on the Mbappe-Messi-Neymar trio to achieve continental glory may fail.

As the 2022 world champion is a candidate to play in the Saudi League, while some reports linked the Brazilian Neymar to moving to English Manchester United.

As for Kylian Mbappe, it seems that he is staying in the French capital, and the 2018 world champion is fighting an individual battle in the race for the top scorer in the league, as he leads with 28 goals, two goals ahead of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, two stages before the end.
The fate of coach Christophe Galtier also seems murky, in light of reports linking Zinedine Zidane or Spain's Luis Enrique to taking over duties at the "Parc des Princes" stadium.

It is true that Lens will not snatch the title from Saint-Germain, but the fans will remember the exceptional season for the northern club, which is preparing to return to the Champions League for the first time in 21 years.
Although Saint-Germain did not win the title two stages ago, this is also due to Lens, who broke the total number of his best points during one season, two games before the end.
In the event of his victory over Ajaccio, he will raise his score to 81 points, which is the highest total achieved by a team that finished runner-up to Saint-Germain since the Qatari takeover (80 points by Monaco in the 2013-2014 and 2017-2018 seasons).
Mathematically, Lens could still win their first league title since their only title in 1998, but their lag by six points behind Saint-Germain plus their vast goal difference (+50 vs. +34) makes this possibility unrealistic even if they win their last two games vs. The fall of the Parisian team.
He is ahead of the third Marseille by five points, so the victory over Ajaccio will guarantee him the runner-up and a direct return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2002-2003 season.
A return to the top continental competition would be an extraordinary achievement for a club that spent most of the past decade in the second division before rising to the ranks of the elite in 2020.
He also achieved this feat on a modest budget of 62 million euros ($66 million).
And in the event that Lens wins, Marseille will be satisfied with the third place that entitles it to enter the qualifying qualifiers for the Champions League, as it is 8 points away from fourth-placed Monaco.
At the bottom of the table, after the relegation of Angers, Ajaccio and Troyes, three teams are competing to avoid the seventeenth place (4 teams are relegated this season and only two are promoted from the second division to reduce the number of clubs next season from 20 to 18).
Nantes are seventeenth (33 points) over Lille, while Auxerre (34 points) travels to Toulouse, while Strasbourg (39) hosts Saint-Germain, although it is relatively comfortable with its position due to the vast goal difference from Nantes (-7 vs. -18).
