Spain Championship: Granada and Las Palmas to the first division
Granada returned to the Spanish First Division in football next season, after being crowned on Saturday as the champion of the second division, by defeating Leganes 2-0 in the last 42nd stage.
Las Palmas also booked its ticket to "La Liga 1" next season, with a goalless draw with Alaves, ending the season, three points ahead of Granada.
As for Levante, who finished third with a late victory over Real Oviedo, they will play the “Playoff” qualifiers alongside Alaves, Eibar and Albacete to determine the identity of the last team to advance to the top flight.
Granada will return to the elite league after one season in the second division, while Las Palmas will return after an absence of five seasons.
