Formation of a committee to raise the level of dialogue with UNRWA about the workers' demands
The Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization said that it had formed a committee from among its members to raise the level of dialogue with UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini, and sent him a letter in this regard to address all issues related to the future of UNRWA work and the protests that have been going on for about three months and its impact on services in the camps and the situation living in it.

The Executive Committee drew attention to its direct and full responsibility for the conditions of our people and the camps in the homeland and the countries of asylum and diaspora, and its follow-up to the situation of UNRWA and the funding crisis it faces, and to review the services it provides to our people and refugee communities, stressing the political dimension of the role of UNRWA as a living witness to the Nakba and the tragedy of the Palestinian refugees that has continued since Seventy-five years.
