The factions in Gaza are calling on Egypt to restart the power lines

On Sunday evening, the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip called on the Arab Republic of Egypt to quickly restart the electricity lines and increase their quantities, noting that they will hold a meeting soon with Egypt to follow up on the matter.


In a meeting with the Electricity Distribution Company and the Energy Authority, she also called on the State of Qatar to continue providing all forms of support and assistance to our people, at the forefront of which is the provision of the Qatari grant with all its provisions.


The Palestinian factions called for the need to exclude the living needs and requirements of our people from political tensions, blaming the Israeli occupation for continuing the siege of the Gaza Strip and strangling its citizens.


And called on the international community to intervene urgently to lift the unjust and unjust blockade on the Strip, which amounts to a war crime against the Palestinian people.


During their meeting, the factions said: "We call on the Electricity Distribution Company to take into account the conditions of citizens, especially poor families, with regard to installing smart meters, so that poor families and beneficiaries of social affairs are taken into account by installing these meters during this stage, while charging an appropriate electricity balance for poor families that have been Install smart meters in their homes.


She called for a review of the agreement to establish the generation company that took place 25 years ago, in a way that serves the interest of our people first, noting that this thorny and complex file will be followed up to end the suffering of our people.


The factions confirmed that they will continue to exert all efforts and make contacts at all levels in order to alleviate the suffering of our people and find ways to overcome the energy crisis in all its aspects.
