Shtayyeh: President Abbas is following up with countries to stop the aggression against Jenin
Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said today, Monday, "President Mahmoud Abbas, the leadership and the government are following up with brotherly and friendly countries in order to stop the Israeli aggression on Jenin, during which 7 martyrs and dozens of wounded were killed.
Shtayyeh added at the beginning of the government session: "What is happening is a new attempt to remove the camp from existence and displace its people. The heroic Jenin and its stubborn and steadfast camp are resistant to the occupation and its invasions, just like the rest of our cities, villages and camps."
And he continued: "Our heroic people will confront this aggression, which is taking place under the eyes of the international community, as innocent people are being bombed by planes. Our people will not kneel and will not surrender, and we will remain in confrontation until this criminal occupation is over."
Shtayyeh stressed that the crimes in Jenin, Nablus and Gaza will not bring security to Israel as long as it attacks our people and works against the wheel of history.
He said, "This Israeli government, which wants to resolve the conflict with us through aggression, realizes that victory is the ally of the oppressed peoples who fight for their freedom and independence. This aggression is a complementary episode to the settlers' terrorism and attacks."
Shtayyeh called on the world to immediately stop the aggression against our people in Jenin, and called for confronting it and confronting the herds of settlers.
He called for imposing all possible sanctions against the aggressor Israel, which sponsors terrorism and settlers, and called for confronting pastoral settlement, which aims to confiscate more land and establish more settlements.
Today, the Council of Ministers will discuss the situation in Jenin, the rest of the Palestinian territories, and the aggression against our people there.
