The battle of "jihad" in Gaza

Bakr Abu Bakr

Bakr Abu Bakr

Opinion Writer

Looking at the battle that took place between the occupation war machine, armed with all that one imagines of superior weapons in all directions, and a non-major Palestinian organization, it is for the third time an achievement for this team or faction that was able to drag the enemy into a battle that destroys its prestige, no matter how great the price was on the part of "Jihad" and the Palestinian people. .

In the battle or the continuous Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank together, the occupation did not hesitate to use all its combat means and human tools, represented by the army, political support, and the colonialist attacks, which apparently turn into a strategy of attrition for the Palestinian effort, especially the popular resistance against it.

Perhaps it can be said that what happened represented a case of Zionist luring of the "Islamic Jihad" faction with all the elements of luring and focused targeting of its active leaders, whether in the West Bank or Gaza, and perhaps it came to send messages outside Palestine in which the Israeli asserts that it will not remain silent and will continue to advance in the area of serial killing, but with limits. He draws it, and he does not accept threats or agreements from here or there that affect the reality of his hegemony and his fiery control over the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The enemy was able to exploit the aggression in the West Bank, which has been continuing intensively since the beginning of the year, and later on the Strip, in perpetuating division and discord between the Palestinian factions, no matter how covered they are by what it calls the “joint room” during the battle of “Revenge of the Free” 5/2023 AD, as it called it “Jihad”, but the truth is What is clear is that the attrition has paid off with the extended Israeli military assault throughout the West Bank and then into the Gaza Strip on the one hand, and in the carefully calculated isolation of a small faction to make it an example in front of the big one, whether in the West Bank or Gaza, as if it was a message to the two major factions “Fatah” and “Hamas” credibly. To say that I strike the weak with a blow that breaks the heart of the old is a modification of the saying of Antarah bin Shaddad.

I believe that the biggest winner from the state of continuous daily attrition in the West Bank and Jerusalem in particular, and then the factions’ isolation one after the other (see the story I ate on the day I ate the white bull) that followed the first case, i.e. the division and fragmentation between the two parts, is the Israeli leadership that succeeded in the strategy of creating the rift in the first place and deepening it until The separation between the West Bank and Gaza is now taking a military, political, and geographical direction, leading to a social and psychological one.

And what followed with his war of attrition that separated the sector from what is happening in the West Bank, as if we live in two separate societies virtually, so there is no response or interaction to what is happening in either of the two parts from the other, and then in the case of monopolizing each group, group or faction.

The idea of resistance in both its violent and peaceful parts within the logic of the people's long-term war is being used with caution and restraint by the Palestinian National Authority, as is the case with the ruling "Hamas" authority in Gaza.

The difficult condition of the Palestinian body requires a serious pause. It calls for intense review and bitter self-criticism in the north and south. Silence is no longer possible and the vast areas of disagreement are no longer able to keep the issue under the spotlight, and what is required in light of all this and the deepening of the Israeli aggression and its Judaization of the land, the sky and the air, and its series of killing of human beings, is that the political leadership rearrange its priorities in light of understanding the meaning of the “unity of arenas”. Yes, but In light of the understanding that the one hand that hits hard, whatever the meaning of force, is the hand that is able to achieve victory.

The Palestinian National Authority lost from what happened in the Strip, and it loses daily from the state of attrition in the West Bank, and Hamas clearly lost, despite the firm statements in support of the "jihad" regarding what is happening in the West Bank and the actual deadly silence, and what happened with the aggression on Gaza and the monopoly of "jihad". No matter how much we give “Hamas” the authority, or the Palestinian National Authority as an excuse, the Palestinian people do not understand that hands are not extended to shake hands, and they do not understand the people’s war without the meaning of unity of blood and unity of decision.

Jeddah Summit... An Arab tongue supports the Palestinian people

Muath Al-Batoush

Opinion Writer

The words of the Arab leaders and heads of delegations participating in yesterday's Jeddah Summit, which was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, witnessed everyone's assurances of the need to support the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

This breath, spoken by the kings and heads of Arab states, comes in line with what the Arab peoples are calling for, especially in light of the crimes, extremist acts and arrogance committed by the occupying authorities, through which they have been able to continue killings, families, demolitions, and sieges against defenseless people in the cities of the West Bank, Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and the Gaza Strip. It even continues hostility to the Palestinians inside what is known as the state of "Israel", as it wants to continue its arrogance without stopping.

The Jeddah summit may be different from other summits in light of the return of Syria, in the presence of President Bashar al-Assad, to the Arab embrace. What we heard of beautiful words and phrases must be accompanied by actions on the ground. Israel, under the far-right government, is increasing hostility and violations against the Palestinian people, and Islamic and Christian sanctities. In Al-Quds Al-Sharif, assassinations of Palestinian faction leaders and civilians continue without regard to laws, customs, state charters, and human rights.

The League of Arab States must move collectively and not at least individually to isolate Israel internationally, and stop all forms of normalization with it until it stops its criminal actions, as well as providing great financial support to brothers in all cities of Palestine away from factional classifications, as every Palestinian on the occupied land must be supported And support him, and the siege on Gaza must be ended, and the culture of visiting Jerusalem should be promoted, because in their visit there is support for all Jerusalemites and stationed people and their confirmation in the face of the occupier, settlers, extremists and their plans.

The Arab countries must continue to support with all their might the Jerusalemites stationed in Al-Quds Al-Sharif and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and not allow the occupying power to continue to harass them to expel them from the Holy City.

The Arabs must realize the importance of the Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian sanctities, and its role in confronting all incursions and terrorist and extremist acts into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. Especially after the Arab countries have been preoccupied during the past decade with the repercussions of what is known as the Arab Spring, Israel's exploitation of the Arab-Arab conflict, the expansion of settlements and the intensification of its efforts to expel the Palestinians, and attempts to pass deals such as the John Kerry project, the deal of the century, and Jerusalem as the unified capital of Israel.

In Jordan, we look at the success or failure of any Arab summit to the extent of the achievements it achieves on the ground for the Palestinian people. The Arab peoples are their first link to Palestine with its people, Jerusalem, and Islamic sanctities. . As Tunisian President Dr. Kais Said said, "We want the Arabs to be active, not passive."

The artificial media march is an expression of an existential crisis

Tamara Haddad

Tamara Haddad

Opinion Writer

Every year, the Israeli occupation activates an artificial activity and an annual tradition that began in 1968 and continues to this day. Every year the number increases due to the media mobilization by Temple organizations and extreme right-wing parties to reflect the development of racist ideology as a racist march in which the holy area is transformed into a military barracks, shops are closed, and Palestinians are forbidden to roam, in addition to the association of this march with dances and songs of an extremist dimension through phrases against the Arabs and chants of death against the Palestinians.

In addition to the unprecedented state of alert in preparation for the completion of the march, and this is a sign of the settlers’ terror and fear, despite the fact that their march was passed without deterrence, since the main goal of this march is to consolidate their presence and provoke the Palestinians, in front of their certainty that the Jerusalem land is not theirs, but their insistence on passing the march to send a message to the Israeli opinion internal that the Jerusalem capital is united to them.

The march of the media is not a march that expresses opinion or a display of power, but rather a tool of religious and political warfare carried out by the occupation since 1948, whose aim is to strengthen the religious project and strengthen the "Halakha" state in which the Zionist presence is consecrated by changing the historical, demographic and geographical features of the city of Jerusalem until The decisive moment is the construction of the Temple, which is considered the last stage of completing the unified Jerusalem.

The march of the media showed the occupation’s turmoil and its fear of any response to the march, by following a plan that works to protect the march, the first of which was the neutralization of the Gaza Strip after the last battle waged by the occupation on the Strip, as well as the besieging of the West Bank and monitoring the entrances leading to Jerusalem, and the occupied Palestinian inside was neutralized from By obstructing their access to the Holy City, and also the decision to prevent the raising of the Palestinian flag, and it was considered that whoever raises the flag committed a legal criminal violation, not to mention the deployment of the Iron Dome systems, as a sign of the occupier's fear and the high level of alertness in order to avoid any repercussions.

The passage of the media march without deterrence does not mean surrender, as it is not the responsibility of one faction or one geographical area to carry out the tasks of the first defense of Jerusalem and the sanctities.

Jerusalem is the responsibility of everyone and every Palestinian individual present in Palestine, and that the media march aimed at consolidating the Zionist narrative, which was supposed to have media opposition to confront this narrative by mobilizing the Palestinians in the Jerusalem spot to strengthen the Palestinian presence and increase popular influence as a tool that has the brunt of consolidating the Palestinian narrative In front of the current conflict, which is the struggle of existence between the Palestinians and the Israelis.

The popular influence is the responsibility of the factions that did not do what is necessary to strengthen the Palestinian presence on the day of the “media march.” Also, confronting any emergency that the occupation undertakes requires a single national front and force, not an intermittent front. It happens in Jerusalem, in addition to the Arab role, as long as they sing about it that Jerusalem is Arab and Islamic.

The passage of the march without a response is an indication of the weakness of the Palestinian reality, and that the Nakba of Palestine is not represented by the Nakba of 1948, but rather there is the Nakba of division that reinforces the loss of the Palestinian cause and the waste of the West Bank in favor of the occupation by gradually annexing it and strengthening the decisive plan for Smotrich, in which he refuted articles that consolidate forced displacement and the annexation of the peaceful population For the occupying state, and whoever refuses to emigrate or surrender, the “assassination regime” is ready.

As for Gaza, after the state of calm continued for a long time, the Strip is the project of the small state, in which there are elements of the establishment of a state despite the small geographical location. Under the pretext of threats to Israel's national security, and exporting its internal crises through temporary wars, as happened in Operation Shield and Arrow.

The way out of the murky Palestinian situation and in the face of the absence of a long-term political horizon is the consolidation of democracy between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, at least to save what can be saved in the face of the occupation’s plans that are being implemented with regional and international approval to integrate the occupation as a regional force that affects the Arab neighborhood and is not affected by it.

Despite the Jeddah Summit, its results may be positive for Arab reunification, but this union is not far from an American-Israeli green light. Instead of consolidating the theory of wars and partisan conflicts that changed balances that were not taken into account, it is now consolidating the theory of neutralizing wars through the use of soft power for penetration and integration that is less expensive and less expensive. In terms of human losses, and if soft power does not succeed in restoring the American balance in the Middle East region, the Third World War will inevitably come to settle the equation for one of the conflicting parties or to create a new international order in which spheres of influence will be shared among them after agreement and consensus.

Challenges ahead of the Arab Summit

Marwan Emile Tobasi

Marwan Emile Tobasi

Opinion Writer

The current Arab summit came at a time when international changes are accelerating and new transformations and positions are taking place regarding inter-Arab and regional Arab relations, the most important of which is the long-awaited return of Syria and the decision on Saudi-Iranian reconciliation mediated by China, in addition to the escalation of racism and crimes of the occupying state, as well as the spread of racist religious thought and Jewish supremacy. Not only the right of our people, but also the right of non-Jews according to their Zionist Talmudic vision.

This summit comes after the unprecedented convening of the session to commemorate the "75th" anniversary of the Nakba at the United Nations and the presentation of President Mahmoud Abbas to his speech in front of those present from the international community after the occupation representative incited countries to boycott this event and his failure to mobilize a large number, despite the response of some Europeans who It is necessary to follow up with them and ask them about their position, which contradicts the principles that they are supposed to advocate since they themselves suffered from Nazi crimes in the past.

There is an importance to the joint Arab rapprochement and cooperation in the face of what is happening in our troubled world today to achieve a new international order in the face of the savage neo-liberalism that targets justice, human rights and freedoms, as well as the global Zionist movement and its tool, the settlement project in Palestine in targeting our historical presence on our land and our right to self-determination.

This requires developing a contemporary Arab strategic vision that distances itself from the American containment attempts that led our peoples towards the conditions they have reached and the continuation of feeding the settlement and occupation project. A vision associated as much as possible with agreement on its goals, plans and mechanisms in order to anticipate events instead of reactions in an attempt to answer the major headlines that caused our crises during the past decades, and to benefit from the international atmosphere, especially among the anti-unipolar peoples responsible for the disasters of the peoples.

Basic paths that must be adopted as priorities at this stage in the history of our people, who stand at the forefront of the Arab peoples and the progressive democratic forces in the world in the face of those Zionist plans that impede the transformations I mentioned in order to preserve the destructive unilateral regime in the region and its advanced position with its strategic American ally.

These paths are summarized in the first, the path of continuing the national struggle against the colonial occupation as a national liberation movement that seeks the right of its people to self-determination and the overthrow of the settlement project and apartheid in the land of Palestine, especially after the occupation and its allies who claimed to sponsor the peace process brought the two-state solution to what it reached as a result. The reality of settlements, annexation, walls, and the West's retreat in supporting the principle of this international choice, according to what was assumed in terms of borders and rights over natural and water resources, as well as the status of Jerusalem as the capital, and the rights of return of refugees.

This is in addition to parallel tracks related first to strengthening the unity of our people within the framework of the Liberation Organization, ending the manifestations of the coup, as well as promoting democratic life and decent living. This is in addition to the course of diplomatic resistance action in all international forums in order not only to boycott the policies of the occupation, but also to suspend Israel’s membership in the international organization that did not, as was supposed to be carried out by UN Resolution 181, but rather the occupation, settlement expansion and the struggle for our full membership, in addition to the political track Legal before the competent international and European courts to prosecute the crimes of the Zionist gangs and Israel since before the Nakba, and the establishment of special courts for that, such as the Nuremberg courts set up by the Europeans themselves for Nazi crimes, and the strengthening of international solidarity relations.

75 years since the Nakba, the third episode

Hamada Pharaohs

A legal and national political argument presented by President Mahmoud Abbas before the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly on May 15, on the anniversary of the catastrophe of the Palestinian people. And it will remain as long as two parts of the people of Palestine are deprived of their rights:
1- The right of return in accordance with UN Resolution 194.
2- The right to independence in accordance with Resolution 181.

The Palestinian struggle is no longer just numbers, recording positions, or daydreaming based on illusions, but rather a struggle paid for by sacrifices, perseverance, steadfastness, resistance to occupation, and confrontation of discrimination and all manifestations of racism, fascism, and alienation, whether in areas 48 or areas 67.

Acknowledgment by the General Assembly of the United Nations of the calamity of the Palestinian people, reminding of it, stopping at it, and commemorating the pain and pain it left behind, and denying the right to a normal life for the people of Palestine on the land of their homeland, just like other peoples. Rather, it is an essential step on the difficult path, the path and steps for restoring the rights of the Palestinian Arab people:
1- The return of refugees to the cities and villages from which they were expelled, and the recovery of their property from, in and on it.
2- Establishing his independent, free state with dignity and dignity, with his head held high.

The world was late in understanding the suffering of the Palestinian people, in solidarity with them, and in voting for them. It was late in understanding the project of the Israeli colony and exposing it as it really is, but as it is colloquially said that it is better to know than not to know, and to arrive late is better than not to arrive, and this is what It applies to the international community, which has begun to gradually understand, take sides, and sympathize with the people of Palestine, no matter how slowly, and gradually backs away from supporting the Israeli colony project.

Two important events took place in the 75th year of the Nakba, what the General Assembly of the United Nations did to stop at the anniversary of the Nakba, and what Representative Rashida Tlaib did in the United States with the progressive wing of the American Democratic Party to stop and express solidarity with the Palestinian people on the anniversary of their Nakba, two events no matter how modest the results seemed to some, But they are living facts, cumulative steps on the difficult, long, gradual path towards Palestine.

The people of Palestine will return to their free and independent homeland, no matter how far time passes, and no matter how many crimes and misdeeds the occupation commits, it is on its way to defeat and demise.

The return of Syria is a great gain for the Arab nation, especially the Palestinian cause

Faisal Abu Khadra / member of the National Council

Faisal Abu Khadra / member of the National Council

Opinion Writer

There is no disagreement over the strength and values of Syria, the heart of the Arab nation, whether it is in the Arab League or outside it, especially against the occupation and its protégé, America.

In this regard, I must mention my friendship with the father of President Bashar al-Assad, where I do not forget in detail the very important meeting with him in his house with immigrants in Damascus, when I touched on this meeting about the possibility of President Anwar Sadat going to Israel, before his visit to it, which surprised all Arab countries. .

President al-Assad, may God have mercy on him, was very frank, especially in his praise of the Egyptian army, when he said that the Egyptian army was not fighting Israel, but rather it was fighting America, and the siege of the Third Army was made by America, and the gap that was said about it was not led by Sharon, but by an American command, and Sharon was only a picture .

He also mentioned that President Sadat asked him to go with him in order to retrieve the Golan Heights, and his answer was refusal, not with regard to going, but he had another opinion, which was to focus on ending the Palestinian situation first, and then discussing the withdrawal from Sinai and the Golan Heights, and President Sadat’s response was that I am going to Israel, not Only the withdrawal from Egyptian lands, but from all the occupied lands, including the Golan Heights and the lands that Israel occupied in the year 1967 AD according to Resolution 242, meaning that every leader had his point of view different from the other, and the enemy has another point of view far from these two points of view.

But most of his talk was about the heroics of the Egyptian army, especially the victory of this great army in the matter of crossing to the second bank of the Suez Canal, and he literally said that no army in the world could and will not be able to defeat the Bar Lev line fortified by America, meaning that the Egyptian army led by President Sadat made a miracle Twentieth century.

Today, with the return of Syria to the Arab embrace, under the leadership of Egypt and Saudi Arabia, it has moral, material and political power.
Of course, all these forces are in the interest of the Palestinian cause, and the Israeli occupier is the biggest loser.

Here it must be mentioned that by restoring Saudi Arabia's relationship with Iran and ending the Yemeni war, the rogue state will be in a very critical situation.

We must refer to the assault and killing of five jihad leaders by the occupier and his warning to Hamas that he would not target it confirms to all factions that its main goal is to deepen the division between them. Therefore, all factions must end the division immediately and devote their unity to resisting the occupier.

The Joint Operations Room offers a lesson to our leaders that national unity is the only way to defeat the occupation, because it does not understand the language of negotiations, so the leader who bets on negotiations only is the loser.
The occupier is much weaker than it was, and it has been proven to this occupier that the resistance is not only able to withstand the aggression, but also to respond to it, especially if this resistance has one unified common room, which makes its strikes calculated.

There is no doubt that this battle showed the occupier that he is a state made of cardboard, especially if we add Syria to unified Arab support, along with Jihad, Hamas, and Fatah in the West Bank. and others for a long time.

One point must be said, and it is that the factions that possess missiles should not rush into a battle for which they are not ready, especially building shelters and providing the people with the necessary equipment, and patience to take revenge is the necessary prudence because the occupation is treacherous, and they do not want our readiness to be strong and ready for a decisive battle, and we do not let the enemy be isolated We are not ready for the battle, just as our missiles must be at the level of the battle, and we must not hit the enemy with many missiles without hitting their targets, nor should they be only to intimidate the enemy, and our slogan is blood for blood. That is, the number of missiles will have an effect that breaks the thorn of the treacherous occupation, and it is necessary for these factions to have batteries that pursue and shoot down aircraft of any type.

And if we add the Shanghai bloc, which includes Russia, China and some Arab countries, the most important of which is Saudi Arabia, it will form a global economic power comparable to the economic power of America, whose economy was exhausted by the war on Ukraine, including Britain and Europe, then the star of America and its mission is fading.

In these days, we must mention Russia's victory over German Nazism, which is similar to Zionist America's war on Great Russia by the Zionist dwarf Zelinsky, relying on the help of the Zionist Biden, who bankrupted the American treasury as a result of this war.

All these events weaken the ability of the Zionist enemy. And Russia's great assistance to Syria and the Arab countries' economic and military support for it brings it closer than ever to restoring the Golan Heights.

Therefore, we go back and repeat the necessity of ending the division, and God is the helper.

Al-Jazeera: The occupation confessed to killing Sherine Abu Aqleh

Al-Jazeera investigative program "What is Hidden is Greater", which was broadcast on Friday, revealed that a senior Israeli official in the office of former occupation army minister Benny Gantz admitted to US officials that the bullet that killed colleague Shireen Abu Aqleh was fired by an Israeli soldier.

A source who was briefed on this confession told the program that the Israeli official said that killing Shirin was a mistake, but insisted that Israel would not announce or admit it officially.

In the same context, "What is Hidden is Greater" obtained documents from Israeli investigations into the killing of journalists in the Palestinian territories, revealing the extent of Israeli manipulation in investigations and evading responsibility and punishment.

On the other hand, Chris Cobb Smith, the British private investigator in the case of journalist James Miller - in his interview with the episode (19/5/2023) of the program "What is Hidden is Greater" - confirmed that the shot that hit Sherine was "deliberate and not random."

The British investigator spoke of a complete failure to investigate and admit responsibility on the part of the Israeli army and the Israeli authorities. Smith doubted that the person who shot Sherine would be held accountable.

For its part, the Palestinian Media Forum said that what was revealed by the investigation of what was hidden is greater than shocking evidence and documents, confirming the existence of complicity and cover-up in the murders of Palestinian journalists.

In a statement, the Forum called on the relevant international and human rights institutions to carry out their duties in defending journalists in Palestine and holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes.

In turn, Ali Al-Amoudi, head of the media department of Hamas, said that what was revealed by the Al-Jazeera investigation confirms the Israeli plan to terrorize journalists in order to cover up its crimes and terrorism.

Traditional education or dialogue between method and methods

Wafa Abu Hilal

Wafa Abu Hilal

Opinion Writer

Since ancient times, there is a need to acquire knowledge, and during the various decades, the methods of acquiring knowledge developed until it reached in modern times the use of new methods. Some of them are compatible with all environments, and some need special environments.

There is no doubt that everyone seeks to present knowledge correctly, so methods, means, and strategies of modern teaching appeared, which provided many methods that could develop the human mind and help it acquire knowledge, and these methods varied between mind-provoking and recipients who only try to gain knowledge. By memorizing and receiving, not by analysis and conclusion, and these two types of education appeared in abundance in modern schools today.

And between harmony between them or choosing one of them, given that these methods represent modern and classic theories in education, teachers see the need for all methods to develop educational abilities, using them according to the curriculum, and the nature of the information that the teacher wants to reach the student. As for choosing the appropriate method with the lesson, it depends. On the way in which the teacher wants to deliver information to the student.
The traditional view of the teacher was that he was the expert in transmitting information to the learners, and issuing directions and orders as to what they should do or memorize. However, the view of the teacher has evolved with the development of the role that he must play, until the teacher has become a coordinator and facilitator of the teaching and learning process, inside and outside the classroom, encouraging learners to search and be independent in thinking and judgment, and developing creative imagination.

The awareness perceived by the teacher about the method used in his teaching arises from his absolute conviction of the need to send positive shipments to students in the subject he teaches, and these shipments are awareness of the teacher in the correct manner that facilitates the process of information access to students, knowing it and using it, and they can excel in it as well.

Not only that, as the correct method of teaching results in achieving the goals that the teacher seeks to deliver, also achieving the acquired knowledge in a way that makes the students able to build on it cumulatively. And the right path that he follows to reach the facts that he releases for the sake of the students.

Dewey believes that the method and method has an effective and vital role in order to enhance understanding and comprehension of the student, which determines the level of mental abilities of the student, and through which individual differences are determined between students, as the teacher's method of conveying information parallels the general evaluation that the teacher follows in The beginning is to determine the students’ abilities and mental capabilities in comprehension, remembering, analysis and synthesis.

The teacher must use effective education and appropriate methods and methods appropriate to the students’ abilities and preparations, and the teacher must play the role of guide, personal trainer, expert and decision-maker, and be qualified to deal with the world of information and communication by possessing the appropriate skills to use the computer and the Internet, and practice the principle of setting a good example in front of his students and the school environment and its surroundings. and to be open to every useful new that enables creativity and innovation in the age of informatics, and to be able to manage the educational process effective and interacting with the technological environment

Therefore, the teacher should not adopt one method in teaching, not even one method, because this led to the student reaching a state of boredom. Using the same method in all tracks can lead to boredom on the one hand, and to complicate the curriculum on the other. Therefore, diversification in methods used, and to be individual, creative and innovative by the teacher, this supports the provision of information with a culture of awareness and experience that ultimately leads to real information that has reached the student who can include it in his life according to his need for it, as for the boredom resulting from traditional methods, this leads to the failure of the teacher first and the student Secondly, in understanding what is required of the curriculum, and the level of awareness of this subject is low.

In general, banking education is not rigid and authoritarian as Freire described it, and it is not a process of ignoring and clearing the mind of the student by injecting him with information without realizing what this information is, as it detracted from this type of education that lasted for decades, but it is a fact that produced the mental competencies that illuminated the way for this world. Achieving progress and prosperity, and here it can be said that there is a need for communication between the old methods that depend on the teacher as the basis of the educational process, and the modern methods that integrate between the teacher, the student and the curriculum and considering them as partners in the educational process.

Dialogue education contributes to solving problems and creating creative human minds, while the banker raises the level of problems and accumulates them because the mind here is unable to carry out the tasks of thinking, as it is used to receiving only, and therefore it does not strive to solve the problems it is exposed to in its life, so the society remains different waiting for Others provide solutions to the various problems they are exposed to. The challenge to solve problems creates an effective and innovative generation, and banking education creates a learning reaction and an extinct civilization.

That the two curricula exist separately, but that education in its general form has long been dependent on merging between what is dialogic in its entitlement to dialogue, and what is indoctrination in its reality, as the mathematics curriculum is not taught in general indoctrination, but is taught by storming the minds of students and eliciting results, as the issues are different. There is no room for memorizing it in the same way and mechanism, while the Arabic language, history and geography curriculum is taught by memorization and memorization, as there is no room for changing the poetic verse, the base, or the place of America on the map.

On the other hand, we do not wish to close the mind to accept everything, and follow a consistent approach that ultimately leads to the enslavement of a person without allowing him to express his opinion on the various issues that take place in his society. What is worth and unleashing creativity in the various scientific fields, as well as allowing the human mind to accept what can be accepted morally and reject what is forced upon it.

Accordingly, the mutual relations that arise between the teacher and the learner should be characterized by dialogue, interaction and exchange of experience, so that they go beyond the transfer of knowledge to the development of capabilities, the exercise of the powers of expression and thinking, the release of the powers of creativity, the refinement of morals and the development of personality as a whole. He trusts himself in organizing educational activity freely, and possesses the skills, abilities, and information that make him an educational researcher who contributes to solving educational problems knowingly and consciously. He must work actively in exploiting opportunities for his professional growth. its continuation.
In the end, it can be said that the educational process depends on the student's need for information and his desire to obtain it, and the teacher must ensure that boredom is removed from the students during the teaching process so that the level of comprehension, class interaction, and active participation.

Zelensky arrives in Hiroshima today... and holds a meeting with Macron and Biden

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to arrive in Hiroshima, Japan, on Saturday, where he will participate in the G7 summit, and especially this weekend he will hold a bilateral meeting with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, according to diplomatic sources.

And one of these sources stated that Zelensky is expected to arrive in Hiroshima, starting from Saturday, provided that he participates on Sunday in meetings with the leaders of the G7 countries and the countries invited to the summit.

For his part, a French diplomatic source said that Zelensky arrived in Hiroshima on a plane provided by France, following a conversation with Macron and "at the request of the Ukrainians."

He considered it important for the Ukrainian president to go to the summit of the League of Arab States in Saudi Arabia and to the summit of the Group of Seven major industrialized countries.

Zelensky is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings in Hiroshima with his US counterpart Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

And the White House announced that US President Joe Biden is "looking forward" to meeting his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, during the G-7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, after he showed willingness to allow other countries to supply Ukraine with highly demanded F-16 fighters.

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that Biden "looks forward to the opportunity to meet" Zelensky "face to face," confirming that they will hold a meeting in Hiroshima.

It is expected that Zelensky will start a visit to the Japanese city on Saturday, where he will participate on Sunday in the last day of the G7 summit, in the presence of a number of major emerging powers, including India and Brazil. And he stopped in Saudi Arabia on Friday to participate in the Arab League summit.

"It is a very good and important thing that he went to the Arab League so that he would have an opportunity to defend his cause from a Ukrainian point of view, in order for the world to support Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Sullivan said.

Before his arrival in Japan, Biden expressed, after long hesitation, his willingness to allow other countries to supply Kiev with the American-made F-16s, in a decision that Zelensky welcomed, describing it as "historic."

Sullivan assured the press in Hiroshima that Washington was now supporting a joint initiative by its allies to train Ukrainian pilots on the F-16s. And he stressed that during the period of this training, which will take months, the Westerners will decide the timetable for handing over the planes, their number, and the countries that will provide them.

Biden's diplomatic advisor stressed that the American doctrine "has not changed," explaining that "our approach to delivering weapons and equipment and training the Ukrainians follows the requirements of the conflict."

He pointed out that the F-16s are part of the equipment that Kiev will need "in the future" in order to "be able to deter any Russian aggression and defend itself," and this is far from the urgent necessities associated with the Ukrainian counterattack that Kiev announced several weeks ago.

The White House reiterated the US position that the United States, through its military assistance including combat aircraft, "does not facilitate or support attacks on Russian soil." "The Ukrainians have consistently indicated that they are ready to respect this position," Sullivan said.

Italian Championship: A summit between champion Napoli and Inter, who are high on reaching the Champions League final

The 36th stage of the Italian Football League, Sunday, will witness a summit between champion Napoli and Inter, as the first celebrates winning the title for the first time since 1990, and the second reaching the Champions League final for the first time since 2010.

"Nerazzori" travels to southern Italy after defeating its neighbor Milan (2-0 in the first leg and 1-0 in the return) in the semi-finals of the main continental competition, while the Naples fans are still celebrating their team's victory in the Scudetto for the third time in its history and the first after its double with the late Argentine legend Diego. Maradona in 1987 and 1990.

And Napoli had settled the struggle for the title by drawing with Udinese 1-1 on the fourth of this month (stage 33), before winning a match and losing another, while success was the ally of coach Simone Inzaghi’s men, as Inter is going through a wonderful stage in terms of results by achieving 8 successive victories. In various competitions, including 5 in the league.

There is no doubt that the fans of the two teams will forgive coaches Luciano Spalletti and Inzaghi for diverting their focus towards other goals, as Inter is also fighting on the domestic cup front, as it meets Fiorentina in the final match in the middle of next week.

It is expected that coach Inzaghi will rotate among his players to avoid the factor of fatigue against the southern club, which has only lost one of the last six matches in "Serie A", by resting its brilliant Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez and Bosnian veteran Edin Dzeko.

And while a tie or loss does not affect Naples, a similar result for Inter will put it in the crosshairs of its rivals seeking a seat in the Champions League, as Nerazzurri ranks third with 66 points, a point ahead of fourth Lazio and 5 ahead of Milan fifth, and is also behind by a difference. 3 points for Juventus II, 3 stages before the end.

The numbers tend in favor of Inter, who won six of their last nine league matches against the armed Napoli, being the team that won the most matches this season against competitors in the first seven positions, with 8 wins in 11 games (losing in three).

And Napoli must regain its scoring success, led by Nigerian top scorer Victor Osimhen (23 goals in 29 matches) and Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (12 goals), as he has only scored an orphan goal since winning the title in a 1-0 victory over Fiorentina.

For its part, Juventus will visit Empoli on Monday at the end of the competitions of this stage, hoping to compensate for the disappointment of its exit from the European League “Europa League” in front of the king of this competition, Seville, Spain, in the semi-finals (1-3 on aggregate).

"You have to put the goals in the net when you get the chances," said the coach of the "Old Lady" Massimiliano Allegri after losing to the Andalusian club 2-1 after the extension on Thursday. "The players had a good game, but it was in the semi-finals of the European Cup, and we had to give more." ".

He added, "What were we missing? Putting chances in the net... It is a team that lacks experience at the continental level and these physical matches require a lot... A lot of things are changing at the European level... I am happy that the Italian clubs (Inter, Fiorentina and Roma) "I reached the finals in European competitions. We didn't succeed today? Yes, and we will continue to work."

Allegri's men must ensure their participation in the Champions League through the league, in light of talk of a tendency to settle part of the 15 points that he recovered in his appeal of the penalty related to financial manipulation.

And the local federation of the game had reported on Wednesday that the Italian sports justice would review Juventus’ penalty on the current 22, which was suspended on April 20, for re-evaluation.

In turn, Lazio seeks to consolidate its last, fourth position, qualifying for the continental competition, when it is a guest on the twelfth Udinese on Sunday, armed with not losing to it in its last nine matches in the league (6 wins against 3 draws).

Udinese failed to score in 11 of its last 16 matches against “Bianculisti” in the league, but it is self-defeating by not losing at home in its last eight matches, achieving 3 wins against 5 draws.

On the other hand, Milan hopes to put behind him the disappointment of leaving the Champions League when it receives Sampdoria, relegated to the second division, on Saturday, while its coach, Stefano Pioli, is likely not to make radical changes to the starting line-up.

And the “Rossoneri” finds itself facing a difficult task, which is to finish the season in the first four places, or at least in fifth place, awaiting a new penalty for Juventus.

Sampdoria visited the "San Siro" stadium, and was disappointed, as it did not achieve a victory in a series of 8 matches, while its host was not in a better condition, as it did not collect the three points only once in its last four matches in the league, to decline in the standings.

Roma will host Salernitana on Monday, after reaching a European final for the second season in a row, led by Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, in the Europa League on Thursday, after he led him last year to win the Conference League competition.

Al-Bosta...a piece of torment for the prisoners

Many prisoners are forced to cancel their exit to the Ramla prison clinic when their illnesses are not chronic, or to accept a court session for them remotely through the screen, as has been the case during the last three years, in order to avoid traveling by busa, which is considered a piece of torment for them, used by the occupation. Israeli means of torture and abuse against them.

An hour's journey could take 5 days!

A prisoner’s journey from his prison to attend his trial session may take five days, back and forth, a journey that normally takes only one hour, due to the procedures taken by the occupation and the introduction of the prisoner into several prisons, Jamil Saadeh, the director of the legal department in the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs confirms in an interview For "Quds" dot com.

According to Saadeh, the prisoner who travels from the Negev prison or Raymond prison, arrives at the Ofer prison crossing, or perhaps to the Megiddo prison crossing, and the journey in which the occupation forces the male or female prisoners to disembark and sleep in the prison crossings, as these crossings are sections in the prisons that lack essentials of normal life.

Saade stresses that "Bosta" is psychological torture and a source of anxiety for prisoners, in which the prisoner is shackled, in his hands and feet, and says: "We have filed a complaint against the torture journey in Bosta, we received promises to reduce the duration of the Bosta trips, especially the female prisoners, so the prison administration complied for a while, then came back The prison administration took these practices and reneged the agreement without legal justifications.

The journey of torture in the “Bosta” prisoner spends several days during his transfer from one prison to another, or from prison to court, investigation, hospital, or clinic without regard to the conditions of the sick or the elderly, and the prisoners rest for a few hours in stations in several prisons inside rooms unfit for living human beings.

A day or two before, the prisoner prepares himself psychologically and physically for what he will suffer inside the "busa", where the "torment" journey begins from five o'clock in the morning until late at night, after the prisoner is searched naked and forced to wear the "shabas" clothing of the prisoners, which is colored Al-Bunni, all the way to the "Al-Maabar" section in any prison on their way to such sections, and every time the journey of suffering begins from prison to prison!

Bosta cause trial remotely!

Often, the "Bosta" journey makes the prisoner wish not to get out of prison, to accept his trial session remotely via the screen, and perhaps to be patient with the pain of his illness for fear of going out and causing him double pain, Saadeh explains.

Lawyer Jamil Saadeh says: "During the Corona pandemic, the occupation authorities resorted to trying the prisoners remotely via a special screen, from his prison, and it is a system that was implemented in an emergency situation in the Corona pandemic, but the prisoners are now beginning to demand trial through it for fear of incurring the suffering of traveling through the busta." .

Saadeh added, "The prisoner's attendance at the trial session via the screen was rejected by us as lawyers, as it violates the privacy of the prisoners, and is not legal. We demand the trial in presence, because this is moral support for the prisoner and he meets his family, but the suffering caused by the bosta prompted many prisoners to accept the court session via The screen, and this case we may accept in the event that there is no pronouncement of judgment only.

Mobile dungeons!

The busta resembles a bus from the outside, but it is divided into cells from the inside, in which the prisoners are confined almost completely, and everything in it is made of iron, and it lacks the necessities of life, and it becomes more like an oven in the summer, and a refrigerator in the winter, which compounds the suffering of the prisoners, who are transported by " Cells,” explained the released prisoner, Louay Al-Mansi, in an interview with Al-Quds.com.

The Bosta looks modern and beautiful on the outside, but on the inside it is divided; For the members of the Nahshon unit who are equipped with their equipment and police dogs, or to place the prisoners on iron benches or cells in which male or female prisoners are placed who are tied by their hands and feet, or the prisoners with high sentences or who are isolated.

According to Al-Mansi, "the busta constitutes great suffering for the prisoners, as it is a bus divided into cells, and all its components, even the seats, are made of iron, and the nature of the prisoners' restrictions causes suffering for them, and any driving of the busta by its driver may cause the prisoners to suffer bruises or bruises, even if an accident occurs." Simple compounds the pain of captives.

Even the regular cells may be better than the "busta", as there are no bathrooms in the "busta", apart from the humiliating and meticulous restraints and searches, and they are not equipped with air conditioning in summer or winter.

According to Al-Mansi, the prisoners suffer from hunger and thirst, and they are unable to go to the bathroom, even if the distances are long, and no distinction is made between a patient or someone else. The prisoner may suffer from diseases and pains in the future, such as “disc” and bone diseases, and the prisoner is forced to wear “Shabas” clothes. Brown.

Al-Mansi indicates that what is happening in the "Bosta" is a kind of collective punishment against the prisoners, even prayer is not allowed for them to perform, which forces them to pray while they are tied without knowing the location of the qiblah, and they perform orphanage instead of ablution, and it also increases the suffering of the prisoners that they are forced to move in the "Bosta". With criminal Jewish prisoners.

For his part, the released prisoner, Maher al-Akhras, told Al-Quds.com: "What increases the suffering of the prisoners is that those who control them are the elements of the "Nahshon" unit, which is dedicated to suppressing the prisoners, and who subject the prisoners, during their travel through the "Bosta", to various kinds of torment. Often, prisoners are placed in cells inside that bus, according to the file of each prisoner and the extent of his danger to the occupation.

As for handcuffs and handcuffs, the released prisoner al-Akhras explains that prisoners are shackled by the hands and feet, and in the pelvis and thighs, with iron shackles! It is a process similar to torture and shabeh, while al-Akhras indicates that the sick prisoner was not given the choice to be patient with his illness and dispense with treatment or go out to the Ramla prison clinic to receive treatment, due to the virtue of remaining in prison and being patient with the disease, or perhaps he would accept not seeing his family whom he misses, because of what it causes. Bosta from the suffering of the prisoner.

All prisoners are prohibited from speaking, smoking, or even carrying the Holy Qur’an, and they eat their meals while shackled. All the windows of the “busa” are closed, which makes it stink. It is equipped with surveillance cameras, while rain water may enter from its roof in winter days.

Either the enemy accepts it, or we withdraw from the negotiations." ".

The Syrian President hopes for a "new beginning" for joint Arab action in his speech to the Jeddah summit

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad expressed Friday to Arab leaders during a summit in Jeddah, the first his country has attended in more than a decade, that he hoped that the meeting, with the presence of Damascus, would be "the beginning of a new phase" for joint Arab action.

Al-Assad told leaders and representatives of Arab countries, "As we hold this summit in a turbulent world, hope rises in light of the Arab-Arab and Arab-regional and international rapprochement that culminated in this summit."

He added, "I hope that (the summit) marks the beginning of a new phase of Arab action for solidarity among us for peace in our region, development and prosperity instead of war and destruction."

The ongoing conflict in Syria since 2011 has killed more than half a million people and displaced more than half of the population inside and outside the country. Syria has turned into an arena for settling scores between regional and international powers.

Arab leaders cut off or downgraded their countries' relations with the Syrian government due to the Syrian regime's repression of its opponents. Several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, supported the political and armed opposition, especially in the early years of the conflict, and called for regime change in Syria.

However, Riyadh finally opened up to Syria and pressed for its return to the Arab ranks.
Al-Assad went on Thursday evening to Jeddah. The Sirte summit in Libya in March 2010 was the last summit he attended.

In front of the leaders of the Arab countries in Jeddah, the Syrian president thanked the Saudi leadership for "the great role it played (...) and its intense efforts to promote reconciliation in our region and for the success of this summit."

He continued, "Syria's past, present, and future are Arabism, but it is the Arabism of belonging, not the embrace. The embrace is fleeting, but the belonging is permanent."

He added, "A person may move from one embrace to another for some reason, but he does not change his affiliation. As for whoever changes it, he is without affiliation in the first place. Whoever falls into the heart does not stay in the embrace, and Syria is the heart of Arabism and in its heart."

Al-Assad considered that "joint Arab action needs common visions, strategies, and goals that we will later turn into executive plans... in need of a unified policy," noting that "the most important thing is to leave the internal issues to their peoples, as they are able to manage their affairs, and we only have to prevent external interference in our affairs." their countries.”

President Abbas: We reject the continued occupation of our land

Today, Friday, the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, affirmed his rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities' continued violation of our land and sanctities, calling on the international community to hold him accountable for his crimes against our people and to provide him with international protection.

In his speech before the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah, he called on Arab leaders to support the implementation of the recent General Assembly resolution, and to submit a written pleading by their countries before the International Court of Justice, to issue its advisory opinion and fatwa on the legality, form and eligibility of the system established by Israel, the occupying and apartheid state. on the land of Palestine.

President Abbas indicated that Israel denies the signed agreements and UN resolutions and adheres to an alternative colonial Zionist project based on the continuation of occupation, ethnic cleansing and apartheid, and that its successive governments defy international legitimacy through their unilateral measures, settlement policies, racist annexation projects, and their fascist laws.

He said, "This current and dangerous situation puts us in front of many responsibilities and due obligations, the most important of which is accelerating the pace to change this situation before it is too late, because Israel will not enjoy security and peace without the Palestinian people obtaining their freedom and independence."

President Abbas expressed his confidence that the Arab summit will succeed in facing the regional and global challenges facing our nation, stressing the readiness of the State of Palestine to work with it, under the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the success of Arab, regional and international efforts, within the framework of partnership and cooperation, and finding solutions to regional crises. In order to achieve security, peace and prosperity for our peoples.

He affirmed his confidence that the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people will be at the core of the concerns of the Arab summit, in order to find a just and comprehensive solution that ends the Israeli occupation of the State of Palestine with its capital, East Jerusalem, on the 1967 borders, the return of refugees, and the liberation of prisoners.

President Abbas stressed that such a solution must be based on the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative, which we adhere to as a sure way to achieve peace in the region.

He saluted our steadfast people in the refugee camps and those stationed in Jerusalem and the environs of Jerusalem, as he saluted the martyrs, the prisoners and the wounded.

President Abbas stressed the continuation of work for the unity of our people and our land and the achievement of national reconciliation on the basis of adherence to the program of the Liberation Organization and international legitimacy.

And he stressed that our people will continue to stand firm in their historical homeland, their land and the land of their fathers and grandfathers, preserving their national identity and sanctities, and that the occupation will end, whether it be long or short.

The President expressed his confidence in the continuation of Arab leaders to provide political and material support to strengthen the steadfastness and survival of our people on their land, and to continue building the institutions of their independent state.

On the United Nations' decision to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Nakba for the first time since 1948, Abbas said: "This UN resolution constitutes a refutation of the Zionist-Israeli narrative that denies the Nakba."

The Saudi Crown Prince welcomes the return of the Syrian President to the Arab summit meetings

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz welcomed Arab leaders at the start of the Arab summit in Jeddah on Friday, the return of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to attend the meetings of the Arab League after an absence of more than a decade.

"Today, we are pleased with President Bashar al-Assad's attendance at this summit, and the issuance of the Arab League's decision regarding the resumption of the participation of Syrian government delegations in the meetings of the Arab League Council," the Saudi crown prince said in his speech.

He added, "We hope that this will contribute to supporting the stability of Syria, the return of things to normal, and the resumption of its natural role in the Arab world, in a way that achieves the good for its people, and in a way that supports all of our aspirations towards a better future for our region."

Several Arab countries, most notably Saudi Arabia, supported the political and armed opposition, especially in the early years of the conflict, and called for regime change in Syria.

Diplomatic shifts accelerated in the Arab arena following the announcement of an agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran, one of Damascus' most prominent allies, last March to resume relations, in a move whose repercussions were evident on the regional political scene in a region that has long been shaken by proxy conflicts.

Last month, Al-Assad received Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Damascus, in the first visit of this kind since the outbreak of the conflict in Syria in 2011 and the freezing of its membership in the Arab League. The official Saudi media has long accused the Assad regime of committing "crimes."

In his speech, the Crown Prince said, "We will not allow our region to turn into fields of conflicts, and it is enough for us to turn the page on the past by remembering the painful years of conflicts that the region lived through, from which its people suffered, and because of which the development process faltered."

Zelensky wrote on his Telegram account, "I will speak during the Arab League summit. I will meet with (Saudi) Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and hold other bilateral meetings."

It is his first visit to the region since the start of the Russian invasion of his country.

He said that his priorities during the visit would be "presenting our formula for peace, whose implementation must include the largest possible number of countries."
"Another priority is to protect the Muslims of Ukraine" in the Crimea region, which Russia annexed in 2014, he added.

"Crimea was the first to suffer from the Russian occupation, and most of those facing oppression in occupied Crimea are Muslims," he added.

Zelensky is expected to go to Japan for the Group of Seven meeting, his first visit to Asia since the invasion.

In recent days, Zelensky has toured European countries to request more supplies of weapons for a counter-attack in an effort to recapture territory captured by Russian forces.

The Sudanese banking system has been destroyed by war and citizens are asking, "Where is our money?"

Looted safes, absent management and inaccessible accounts due to the lack of internet and electricity: after a month of war, the Sudanese banking system, which was barely in its infancy, has come to a grinding halt.

On the ground, Ibrahim Saeed sat trying to cover his head due to the intense heat of the sun, which exceeded forty degrees, in front of the Bank of Khartoum branch in Madani, where hundreds of families fleeing the ongoing fighting in the Sudanese capital are now residing.

"I came from seven in the morning and now it's midday hoping to get piasters out of my account," Saeed said.

Near him, dozens of men and women crowded under the scorching sun while a number of policemen were trying to organize them in front of a branch of the largest Sudanese bank.

"Sometimes the bank opens its doors after three in the afternoon, and they allow very limited numbers to enter, and if you are not lucky, you come the next day, and I have been going here for three days," Ishraqat al-Reeh said.

"We fled the fighting and we have no other way to get money than from our bank account," she added.

Ahmed Abdel Aziz, 45, is an employee with an account at Omdurman National Bank. The man stood in front of the bank's branch in Madani, although its doors were closed, and said, "We are confused about our situation, because our money is in the banks and we cannot get it."

Because of the confrontations that killed a thousand people and forced two million others to leave their homes, money transfers stopped. Thus, bank employees can only give a limited number of customers a small amount of cash.

The Federation of Sudanese Banks said in a statement issued a few days ago that the heads of banks are seeking to "restore banking services in the state of Khartoum if the conditions conducive to that are available."

A number of bank branches across the capital, Khartoum, were looted after gunmen broke their locks.
Mohamed Abdel Aziz, a banking expert, explained the current situation.

"The banks' servers (computer systems) that control their work are concentrated in the main headquarters in Khartoum," he told AFP, explaining that "employees cannot access and operate them because of the fighting."

He added, "Also, the branches in the states have lost contact with the departments of banks that give them approval for operations."

An employee of the Sudanese French Bank said, on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak, "We cannot carry out money transfers from one account to another, and clearing between banks has completely stopped."

Abdel Aziz explained that Sudanese banks "have completely lost contact with foreign banks since the start of the war, and the current situation leads to a recession in the economy that increases the suffering of citizens."

Despite this pause, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, commander of the army and the de facto ruler of Sudan since the 2021 coup, decided to change the governor of the Central Bank, and announced the freezing of all bank accounts of the Rapid Support Forces led by his opponent, Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo.

However, experts question the feasibility of these decisions if the state was unable at the end of April to pay the salaries of employees and retirees.

Twenty years of strict embargo was enough to make the banking system in Sudan almost dilapidated, knowing that the country is still listed on the list of donor countries as one of the "extremely indebted poor countries."

The Sudanese banking system does not allow any bank card payments nor international transfers between individuals.

Sudan has a total of 37 banks, including four state-owned banks that control 14% of banking assets, and seven foreign banks that own 23% of banking assets in the country, according to the International Monetary Fund.

At the end of 2019, the total of these assets was equivalent to $11.8 billion and the International Monetary Fund considered the Sudanese banking system to be “fragile” with many banks with capital below the recognized minimum.

No one knows what is left of these sums. Every day there are new pictures published on the Internet of safes whose contents were stolen and banks looted.

Since the first week of fighting, the army has accused the RSF of "stealing astronomical sums" from an agency affiliated with the central bank in Khartoum.

However, the Federation of Banks does not stop issuing statements in which "customers are reassured that their deposits are safe and secure," and confirms that "their balances and financial information are preserved in their entirety."
While waiting for the banks to return to work, Ibrahim, Ishraqa, Ahmed and the others must buy flour--twice as expensive as before the war--and fuel--twenty times more--with the little money they have left.

Aggressive escalation in Jerusalem

Jerusalem Hadith

Jerusalem Hadith

What the occupying state and the herds of settlers did yesterday in occupied Jerusalem, including the march of flags and the storming of the Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, and the dances at Damascus Gate, in the presence and participation of the Minister of Transportation, Miri Regev, as well as the participation of ministers and members of Knesset, headed by Ben Gvir, the Minister of National Security, in the march of the flags. It is not only provocative acts of Palestinian citizens, many of whom have been assaulted, dozens arrested, and many of them deported from the Old City, but also a clear aggressive escalation targeting Jerusalemites in the first place and the Arab and Islamic nations, along with the countries of the world that recognize East Jerusalem as an occupied city that the occupying state has no right to change Its features or attempts to undermine its people.

This aggression that took place and is still taking place in front of the whole world means, first of all, that the occupying state does not care about this world and does not take any account of it, as long as the United States of America and with it the Western colonial countries support the occupying state and prevent any punitive measures against it.

These countries that support the occupying state in its escalating aggression, which poses a threat to the region and the world, claim democracy and human rights when they are far from that, especially when it comes to the inalienable national rights of our people to return, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

In the face of this aggression that threatens to explode the region and threatens global peace and security, our people have no choice but to stand firm and thwart the attempts of the occupation to undermine the Holy City, and the attempts to seize and Judaize it through the falsification of the history of the city and the historical facts that confirm that Jerusalem is a Palestinian, Arab and Islamic city, and that the occupying state no matter what it does It fabricated practices and procedures, and no matter what crimes it committed, all of this does not change the nature of the city, its history, or the fact that it is Palestinian, and that the Palestinians are a clear and historical extension of the Canaanites who owned this country and who established civilization in it, and that Israel is an occupying state whose occupation will end sooner or later. .

It is true that the current stage is unacceptable to the Palestinians and the Arabs, and that the occupying state believes that the force it possesses, with the support of its Western allies, can achieve its goals in establishing its state from the Nile to the Euphrates. Britain, on whose colonies the sun never set, but in the end it was forced to end its colonization and return to its natural size. Victory in the end belongs to the people, and as long as our people continue their national and human struggle, victory will be their ally in the end, and the brutal occupation will come to an end.

Jerusalem will remain Palestinian, Arab and Islamic, and just as the invaders were defeated in the previous stages of history, the defeat of the occupation of the Holy City and all occupied Palestinian lands is a matter of time, and that the Jerusalemites will continue to protect Al-Aqsa, the Church of the Resurrection, and all Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem and the rest of Palestine. The will will defeat force. And as long as our people and the Jerusalemites are at the forefront, they have the will and the challenge, victory will be his ally, long or short.

The march of Israeli flags and the search for lost sovereignty

Attorney Khaled Zabarka

Attorney Khaled Zabarka

In a reading from another side of the provocative march of the Israeli flags, in the occupied city of Jerusalem and in the city of Lod, Ramla, Jaffa and other Palestinian cities, we notice the occupier's desperate attempts to search for a lost sovereignty, as this feeling that accompanies the Israelis in this country is that they did not find the promised sovereignty that they were looking for. Despite all the 75 years of wandering.

Despite the complete Israeli control over the land, as a result of continuous and continuous military force, followed by the policies of oppression and suffocation, and these policies that have characterized Israel since its inception, this control did not provide them with a true feeling of true sovereignty, and they remained accompanied by a permanent feeling of inferiority. And we can say, in this regard, that Israel's reality has not changed, since its inception until this day.

The militarization of Israeli civil life is clearly visible, especially in everything related to the view of the Arabs and their existence, especially since the view of the mere strong and influential Arab presence has become an element of concern for Israeli society and its policy makers because it always reminds them of the truth that they want to miss, which is that this land has owners, so dealing with influence has become The Arabs as a national threat, and their religious and national symbols have also reminded them of the truth, so their presence, influence and symbols have become subject to Israeli authoritarian pursuit.

And we can say with confidence, by observing Israeli behavior over the past 75 years, that there is no real civilian life in Israel. Everything moves with the military concept, with the language of weapons and killing, and the military and security pursuit of political opponents. The foundations of the Israeli view of civilian life, with regard to the Arab presence, are still based primarily on the security perspective.

In this context, it is necessary to point out the religious ideological dimension in Israeli politics, which derives its starting points from the Talmudic concepts adopted by the Zionist project when establishing the Israeli project on the blessed land of Jerusalem.

In light of this wandering that the Zionist-Israeli project lives in the land of Palestine, this march of flags comes to repair the moral bleeding that the Israelis suffer from because of the huge gap between the promises made to them by their rabbis based on Talmudic promises and the reality that has been achieved on the ground. This gap has led to boredom in Israeli society. than waiting for the alleged promises to be fulfilled.

The mobilization of all Israeli partisan and political forces for this march with an unprecedented wave of Israeli media and messages of reassurance to the Israeli society launched by Israeli police officers with the aim of encouraging them to participate in the storming of Al-Aqsa and in the march of flags, and the recruitment of Israeli forces with all its arms, whether the police, intelligence and army, and raising the state of alert to the maximum level In order to raise the Israeli flag in the city of Jerusalem is the greatest evidence of the loss of this sovereignty and the lack of any opportunity to impose it in a natural way, except for the use of horns and loud voices and the creation of a hostile atmosphere and an atmosphere of hatred against the Arabs, hoping for them to fulfill an alleged promise that will not be fulfilled, no matter how much Israel has the elements of military power or influence. The global or the harmony of the Arab formal system.

The passage of 75 years since the establishment of Israel and 56 years since the occupation of Jerusalem did not give Israel any real sovereignty over the Blessed Land and did not strip it of its true sovereignty, the sovereignty of the owners of the land, the homeland and the Holy Place, despite all the policies of misleading, falsehood, Arab surrender, coordination, spreading corruption and the policies of fragmenting the social fabric of its owners the real ones.

The march of the flags, no matter how loud it is or how many flags are raised, will not be able to change the reality of sovereignty, and just as true sovereignty is not imposed by force of arms, iron or fire, and just as strength alone does not give legitimacy and weakness alone does not strip sovereignty, the steadfastness of the owners of sovereignty and their steadfastness in their homeland and their preservation Protecting their land and homes and protecting their social fabric is a guarantee that all the miserable attempts that are looking for a foothold in the blessed land will fail, so what if God’s support and victory for them and they alone, and not others, is God’s promise on this earth.

They wanted the march of the flags to be a march of imposing the lost sovereignty, but in reality it revealed its fragility and falsehood and restored confidence to the owners of the land in the possibility of returning it to its truth.

The absurdity of the occupation... and the absurdity of assassination

Dr.. Asaad Abdul Rahman

Dr.. Asaad Abdul Rahman

Opinion Writer

Since its inception, the Zionist movement has adopted a policy of assassination and liquidation of Palestinian and Arab leaders, which it saw as a threat to its colonial expansion project / “settlement” / occupation on the land of historical Palestine. This policy was not spontaneous in one day, as it enjoyed the support of all heads of Israeli governments, regardless of their ideological thought, and all of them “believe” that it comes within Israel’s “security needs”!!!

The search for solutions, whether technical, military or security, to perpetuate the occupation is futile. This is confirmed by the history of the Palestinian resistance and others. People are born. Likewise, vital organizations, meaning that the assassination of Palestinian leaders is also an absurd act. In the past, Israel assassinated Ghassan Kanafani, and after him Abu Ali Mustafa. So has the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine ended?! The situation is the same with the Fatah movement, where many leaders were assassinated. Among the examples (examples only) is the assassination of Abu Ali Hassan Salameh, and those who preceded him from among the martyrs of the second class, not to mention the assassination of the martyrs Majid Abu Sharar, Abu Jihad, and Abu Iyad, headed by Abu Ammar. As for the “Islamic Jihad Movement”, which adopts the option of resistance and refuses to enter into the “political process”, its first Secretary General, Fathi Al-Shikaqi, was assassinated in 1995, and its leaders were martyred successively, passing through Bahaa Abu Al-Atta 2019, Hussam Abu Harbeed 2021, and each of the prominent leaders Tayseer Al-Jabri and Khaled Mansour Not ending with the new martyr leaders. This, without forgetting the captive leader Khader Adnan, who comes within the plan of the assassination policy. Of course, there is no need to clarify the obvious by mentioning the martyrs of many prominent leaders in the Hamas movement, headed by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, and the martyrs: Yahya Ayyash, Dr. Abdelaziz Al-Rantisi, Jamal Mansour, Mahmoud Abu Hanoud, Salah Shehadeh, Ibrahim Al-Maqadmeh, and Ismail Abu Shanab, and the list also goes on. Did the assassinations end these factions (or others) or stop their work? Isn't her armed struggle (and others) renewed?

The absurdity of perpetuating the occupation by security and military means is known to everyone, including many Israelis. The repetition of “wars” on the Gaza Strip (or the West Bank) does not relieve the Zionist state from its “troubles.” At the end of each confrontation we return to the same point. Since the cease-fire, writings have poured in from prominent Israeli military and politicians stressing the absurdity of the previous and subsequent “wars” on the Gaza Strip.

Only shortsighted ones believe that the issue of assassinating a number of Islamic Jihad leaders (or other leaders) means an end to the battle. Despite the rise of the martyrs, the Islamic Jihad is still able to renew its strength, and we have seen this many times. And it excelled when it agreed in the last battle with the factions in the common room, to be the spearhead and take all the punches…. Without - of course - mentioning the punches that were inflicted by them and other factions on the heads of several basic components in the Israeli occupation society... The conclusion is: just as the occupation, every occupation, is absurd... the assassination of the leaders of the resistance from Fatahists, Hamasis, jihadists, and the martyrs of the popular and democratic fronts (and others) is also Absurd. This was confirmed in the struggles of the distant past, the recent past, and what will be confirmed in the struggles of the future.
