Al-Qassam: Israeli soldiers were killed and wounded by the explosion of two tanks south of Gaza City

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, announced on Monday that Israeli soldiers were killed and wounded as a result of its members detonating a missile left by the Israeli army on two Merkava tanks in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Al-Qassam said in a statement via Telegram that its fighters, “after their return from the battle lines, confirmed the detonation of a missile left by the enemy in two Israeli Merkvah tanks near the 17th roundabout in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.”

It added, "A number of occupation soldiers were gathering around her, and they were killed and wounded."

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli side regarding this statement.

On Sunday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they clashed from “zero distance” with Israeli soldiers who secretly infiltrated an aid truck east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, leaving them “between dead and wounded.”

Clashes continue between fighters of the armed Palestinian factions and Israeli army forces in the southern areas of Gaza City, in addition to the constant firing of mortar shells at the “Netzarim axis” south of the city.
