Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Today, Thursday, the Minister of National Economy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Standards and Metrology Institution, Khaled Al-Osaili , and Director General of the Palestinian Standards and Metrology Institution, Haider Hajjah, handed over four national companies with certificates of quality and supervision.

The companies are: No Gas for the installation and operation of central gas installations, which is granted for the first time in the services sector, Technique Look for Industry and Trade for the product (fire-resistant door units), Super Nimr Industrial Investment for the product (fire-resistant skylight door), and a supervision certificate for the Technical Company for Electrical Engineering For a product (prepaid water meters), after conducting technical tests, and the products meeting the requirements of technical specifications, and checking the quality systems within these facilities.

Osaily explained during the handover ceremony, which took place at the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah, that "most of the tests are conducted in national laboratories, and that we have a Palestinian industry that we are proud of, and we will continue the development and improvement processes so that national products take their real share locally and globally."

He called on all national establishments to apply for the certificates granted by the Corporation, considering that these certificates are a passport to export and competition, expressing his appreciation for the Corporation's staff, its management, and the high level of quality of providing the services provided.

He added, "One of our priorities is to attract investments and increase national exports, which requires continued improvement and development of national products, and we are moving forward in taking further measures to protect and develop the national product."

For his part, Hajjah praised the quality of the national products and the national factories that obtained Palestinian quality certificates, which enabled them to export their products to many countries, regionally and internationally. To provide services that will improve the quality of national products, and our constant endeavor to overcome obstacles in front of our products in the regional and global markets.

He called on the national factories to apply for the certificates granted by the Corporation, because this raises their competitiveness and ensures continued control over their products and quality, expressing his appreciation for the national factories that have obtained the Corporation’s certificates.
