Mark Zuckerberg announces that Meta will cut 10,000 additional jobs

Mark Zuckerberg , chairman of Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, announced on Tuesday that the company will cut 10,000 additional jobs, after a first wave that included the dismissal of 11,000 employees in early November.

Zuckerberg said in a statement that the giant company, based in Menlo Park, California, will eliminate five thousand current vacancies, in which people will no longer be employed.
