The head of Israeli National Security reprimands the families of prisoners for their pressure
Yesterday, Thursday, the head of the Israeli National Security Council, Tzachi Hanegbi, rebuked the families of prisoners detained in Gaza, due to the pressure they are exerting on the government to force it to release their children, according to Hebrew media.
The private Channel 12 said that Hanegbi scolded the families of the detained prisoners and insulted them during his meeting with them, against the backdrop of the pressure they are exerting on Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to stop the war on Gaza, in exchange for the release of their sons detained by the Palestinian resistance factions.
According to the channel, Hanegbi informed the families of the detained prisoners that Tel Aviv "will not stop the war in order to release the prisoners, even if it takes a long time."
He escalated his rhetoric, saying: “If the detainees do not return within a few weeks or a few months, the government does not have a contingency plan,” according to the same source.
