Russia seeks to end the conflict in Ukraine, TASS news agency quoted Russian President Vladimir Putin as saying.

The agency added, quoting Putin, that Oreshnik strategic missiles could be used again in Ukraine if necessary.

Putin said that the US president-elect's positions on the conflict with Ukraine are not yet clear. Putin said that Slovakia is ready to host talks between Russia and Ukraine and that Russia does not object to that.
