Which provides services under the state of emergency system to continue providing services to citizens.

On the Gaza Strip, and preventing any Israeli from entering any Arab country, except for stopping any commercial deals with Israel, and linking any international assistance to it, especially from the United States and Europe, to Israel's respect for human rights.

He added: “Entire families exterminated and demolished their homes over the heads of their occupants as a result of the brutal raids that distributed death, terror, destruction and body parts in the wreckage of demolished buildings and destroyed streets, and these bloody scenes and pictures of children whose clothes dripping with blood died before they saw it, and it is one of the greatest crimes that are punishable.” international law".

And that Palestine is the center of conflict, the heart of peace and the heart of war.

And he continued: Israel cannot combine its occupation and its crimes against us with obtaining free peace and security, and on the 73rd anniversary of the Nakba, it becomes clear every day that the world must present a political project for a solution based on international legitimacy and international law in order to end the occupation and establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital and right Return of the refugees.

A racist Israeli law criminalizes raising the Palestinian flag

Written by: Attorney Ali Abu Hilal

In a step that reflects the consolidation of the apartheid regime and apartheid in the Israeli political system, the Knesset Plenary Assembly approved, last Wednesday, 1/6/2022, in a preliminary reading, a bill banning the raising of the Palestinian flag in institutions funded by the Israeli occupation government, including universities. With the support of 63 Knesset members and the opposition of 16

The Prime Minister of the occupation government, Naftali Bennett, and the right-wing deputies in the Israeli government coalition voted in favor of the law proposed by the Likud Party, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, knowing that the opposition refuses to vote in favor of the laws of the coalition, including laws of a security nature.

Following the vote on the law, Netanyahu said, in a video statement accompanied by the initiator of the bill, Knesset member Eli Cohen (Likud), "Today the Israeli flag won; we are bringing Israel back to the right." He added, "We passed the law with a majority." Overwhelming, the flag law, this is an important day for the State of Israel and for the future of the Jewish state.” Cohen said that the ratification of the law is “an important step to restore sovereignty. In the State of Israel there is only one national flag.”

This racist step comes in light of the escalating Israeli aggression against the Palestinian flag, as the Israeli occupation forces suppress all activities that witness the raising of the Palestinian flag in the 48 areas and the occupied city of Jerusalem and the West Bank, while terrorist settlers have launched, for days, attacks on villages and towns. Palestinian vehicles pass through it, and they work to remove Palestinian flags from its streets

The raising of Palestinian flags at Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Universities in Beersheba, in two demonstrations organized by Arab students on the occasion of the Nakba, aroused the ire of the right inside the government and in the opposition, who made racist statements against Arabs and Palestinians.

Earlier, the municipality of Ramat Gan lowered a banner that included the flags of Palestine and Israel, which were hung as a propaganda banner, and written on it in both Arabic and Hebrew that "our future is to live together", in a central location in the city overlooking the network of central "Ayalon" streets. The Israeli media caused an uproar following the hanging of the banner, which was installed against the background of the Knesset vote on the bill banning the raising of Palestinian flags in government-funded institutions, especially in educational institutions, in retaliation for raising the Palestinian flag at the universities of Beersheba and Tel Aviv. ..

Commenting on the two demonstrations in Beersheba and Tel Aviv; The Israeli Minister of Finance, Avigdor Lieberman, said that he is considering withdrawing budgets from Ben-Gurion University because of its authorization for the demonstration of Arab students to commemorate the Nakba. Prof. Daniel Haimovich, for organizing the event commemorating the Nakba

With the preliminary approval of the law, it will be discussed in one of the Knesset committees to prepare a final version for it and put it through three readings in the committee as well as in the plenary for its approval and promulgation so that it becomes a binding and enforceable law. ‏

The masses of our Palestinian people in the Palestinian territories in 1948 rejected the draft law, and the student movements considered attempts to enact the law as an expression of political bankruptcy and the escalation of fascism and racism towards Palestinian Arab students in universities, and the Palestinian Arab minority in general in the country, and emphasized that the Palestinian flag is a national symbol. Through raising it and commemorating the Nakba and other national activities, we aim to consolidate the idea that a just solution to the Palestinian cause will not be without recognizing the historical injustice that befell the Palestinian people in 1948, stressing that preventing the raising of the Palestinian flag is a denial of all international conventions and norms, and an infringement of freedom Expression, freedom of demonstration and freedom of thought. ‏

Commenting on the law, Representative Ayman Odeh, head of the Joint List, said, “This is the flag of the Palestinian people, raised by thousands of children on the anniversary of the Nakba every year, and this is what scares you. From today onwards, you will see the flag of Palestine more and more.”

The Palestinian flag has become a symbol and a title for the entire Palestinian people, both inside the homeland Palestine and in the countries of emigration, asylum and diaspora, and this is what the Israeli occupation, apartheid and apartheid regime cannot tolerate. That is why we find attempts by Israel, the "occupying power", to criminalize and punish those who raise it in mass rallies, even if It was on the coffins of the martyrs, and this reflects the escalation and growth of racism and hatred towards the Palestinian people, their flag and their identity with the occupation government, and its legislative, executive, judicial, military and security institutions, as well as the herds of settlers and extremist right-wing terrorist groups. ‏

Arafat grew up... the last maker of mobile wooden carts in Nablus still clinging to his profession

Nablus - "Jerusalem" dot com - Saja Jayousi / Madar for Press and Media - In the famous blacksmith market in the old town of Nablus, and among a group of commercial and handicraft shops, you notice a unique shop with wooden planks leaning on its walls, and next to it are some saws and simple machines for cutting wood. In the shop, you find an old man putting the finishing touches on what his hands made of a mobile wooden cart for a customer.

Hajj Nashat Arafat says that for 60 years he has been preserving his profession in the manufacture of wooden carts that are used for portage purposes or for selling purposes as a mobile cart.

He adds that he inherited this profession from his father when he was ten years old, and since then he has been sticking to this rare profession, and he has become the last manufacturer of this type of vehicle in the city, indicating his keenness to teach his son Raed to the same profession when he was fourteen years old. In order to preserve this inherited and endangered profession.

Arafat says that the manufacture of vehicles needs raw materials such as wood, nails, glue, and wood-cutting machines, so that the wooden panels are assembled with each other, after cutting the wood in proportion to its size, and fixing it with glue and nails, and then installing the wheels, and painting them with specific, recognized colors. .

He says that making these carts requires effort and time. In the past, it took a week to finish making one cart due to the manual work. Today, it takes no more than two days to make the cart, and this is due to the availability of modern machines that help him in the industry.
Arafat added that these carts are necessary for those who work as porters or for street vendors.

He points out that citizens' interest in purchasing vehicles is seasonal, but he continues to work on maintaining customers' vehicles on a permanent basis.

Arafat talks about several challenges he faces in his profession, foremost of which is the high price of wood, which drives up the prices of vehicles and the inability of customers to buy them, especially since they are either poor or have limited income.

Due to the decline in the demand for such vehicles, Arafat introduced making stairs, wooden windows, and coffins for the dead to his profession so that he could continue working and secure the necessities of life for his family.

Serbia extends its agreement to obtain Russian gas at reduced prices

Belgrade - (AFP) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced Sunday that Serbia has signed an agreement to obtain Russian gas shipments at reduced prices for three years.

"It's the best deal ever in Europe," he added, after a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Serbia, a candidate to join the European Union, has remained close to the Kremlin since the invasion of Ukraine. And if Serbia condemned the Russian aggression in the United Nations, it refused to join the European sanctions against Moscow, which continues to supply gas at preferential prices.

With this new agreement, Serbia's complete dependence on Russia was reaffirmed, especially since Moscow owns the largest stake in the Serbian national oil and gas company.

The details of this new contract, especially in terms of prices and volume of gas shipments, will be announced "in the coming days" after a meeting with Gazprom's leaders, according to the Serbian president's expression.

"We will have a safer winter in terms of gas supplies," he said in a televised press conference.

Currently the bill is "almost three times lower than anywhere in Europe, and this winter it will be 10 to 12 times lower," he says.

The country currently receives 6 million cubic meters of gas per day from Russia's Gazprom at a price of 251 euros per thousand cubic metres.

Aleksandr Vucic also indicated that he had discussed with Vladimir Putin the possibility of increasing storage capacity in his country.

June 1967 setback and persistence

Written by: Prisoner Yasser Abu Bakr

The war of 1967 AD, known as the “June setback” for the Arab nation, or what is called the “Six Day War” for the Israelis, is a war, attack, and severe military clashes that took place between the occupying power and each of: Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. In the period between the fifth of June and the tenth of it in the year 1967 AD; As a result, Israel occupied the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights.
The sweeping Israeli aggression or this offensive war by the occupation resulted in the issuance of Security Council Resolution No. 242, the convening of the Arab Three No’s Summit in Khartoum, the displacement of most of the residents of the Suez Canal cities in Egypt, as well as the displacement of most of the residents of Quneitra Governorate in Syria, and the displacement of tens of thousands of people The Palestinian people from the West Bank, erasing entire villages, and opening the door to settlement/colonialism in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Politically, the painful setback awakened and shook the Arab conscience, and alerted the national feeling to the danger that now threatens the entire Arab and Islamic nation. This was reflected in the Arab movement, which took practical directions for what was called removing the effects of the setback, supporting positions of steadfastness, supporting the Palestinian revolution up and down, and relying on the efforts of the Arab nation, until the victory of the entire nation was achieved in the glorious October/Ramadan war of 1973 AD.
In the other fact that clearly shows that the setback in 1967 AD was one of the most important reasons for the establishment of the revolution and the heroic Palestinian resistance led by the Palestinian Liberation Movement - Fatah, with whom President Gamal Abdel Nasser met at the end of 1967 after he was prevented from meeting. In this historic meeting, Nasser called for setting fires in the region. Yasser Arafat said to him, “Rather, I will ignite a revolution.” This is what happened when the immortal leader Yasser Arafat and his heroic companions entered Palestine and ignited the Palestinian revolution and resistance, which became the true savior of the Arab nation from a state of despair, despair, and brokenness.
On the other hand, as the Palestinian Information Center states: The form, method, and goal of the Zionist aggression revealed to the whole world the Israeli and Western allegations that were begging for international sympathy, and obtaining its support, by claiming that Israel is weak in front of the Arabs who threaten it; What won the Arabs international sympathy helped them later isolate Israel globally, and had a major role in changing the strategic bases of the two sides of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

But militarily: the Arab forces suffered very heavy losses in the June aggression by forces and means, but that, on the other hand, and as a result of the bitterness of the setback, prompted the people of the Arab nation, its governments, and its armed forces to work tirelessly in order to rebuild combat capacity and readiness, just as the Palestinian revolution, with its operations that exceeded thousands, paved the way For the victory of the Ramadan war.
We remember the June 1967 war to know that the path is long, and that the issue of the refugees and the displaced is one, and with their return hope is fulfilled. There is no separation between the refugees from 1948 and 1967 AD. Both of them must return to their country, Palestine. On the anniversary of the Nakba, despite the bitterness, the revolution was the real savior and the great lever of the nation, which is what We need the same today, and with different circumstances, as we see the dispersion of the entire Arab nation between axes and groups, between impatience and whims, and economic and authoritarian interests, and between fascination with the West and submission to the Israeli, which makes hope pinned to the forelocks of the horses of the entire nation and the Arab peoples, whose time has come for them to wake up from their long slumber while they follow The West is blindly humiliated.
As for our internal level, the time has come for the Palestinian Arab to wake up and understand that his steadfastness on his land and his unity is his ultimate weapon, and that his joint struggle program is his lifeline. Neither Eastern nor Western, but Arab and independent Palestinian hands that mobilize the nation so that Palestine can raise its flag on the mosques, churches and walls of Jerusalem, as the immortal martyr Yasser Arafat, may God have mercy on him, used to repeat with all the prophets, saints and martyrs.

The painter's granddaughter, the curator of the exhibition along with a specialist in Picasso's work, Emilia Filippo, points out that "it is the first time that the paintings completed between 1938 and 1939 and spread throughout the world are collected."

After seeing these paintings that open the exhibition, visitors watch a short film that introduces them to the heart of family life that Picasso was keen to protect.
Highlighted in the exhibition is Picasso's attachment to his first child, who was born on September 5, 1935. Her birth was kept secret, as it was the result of the painter's relationship with Marie-Therese Walter, who is 28 years his junior.
And the name Maya is actually the way little Maria used to pronounce her name, which Picasso chose for her after his sister, who died when he was fourteen.
Diana says Maria "has been her father's best friend and best friend all her life, and the only person with access to his private studio" at any time of the day or night.
Through exhibits about Picasso's vacations with his daughter in the south and their going swimming or attending bullfights, the exhibition shows how Maya became an outstanding assistant to her father at the age of twenty during the 1955 film "The Picasso Mystery" by Henri-Georges Clouzot, which won the Jury Prize at Cannes a year later.
Diana points out that a number of drawings, paintings, poems, sculptures, and pictures that bring the painter together with his daughter are testament to this "relationship" and show the strong bond that brought Picasso together with his "family (...) that is atypical for that era, not for the painter." She asserts that Picasso was a "modern man" and a "loving father".
Diana speaks of her grandmother's "coded presence" in many of the paintings because Picasso was "still married to Olga [Khokhlova] when he met her".
It also deals with the "changes" that Picasso faced "after meeting Dora Maar, which destabilized the family relationship."

Picasso was very caring for his four children: the eldest Paolo from his relationship with Olga Khokhlova, and Maya. and Claude and Paloma, born of his relationship with Françoise Guillot.
The exhibition includes a series of drawings prepared by the artist for Maya and with her, when she was four years old in Royan during the first year of World War II in 1939, including, for example, coloring books to which Picasso added characters, and still life drawings that Maya evaluated as "10 out of 20". silhouettes of small animals and a stage for cut-out paper puppets, as well as wooden puppets.
Letters, intimate items, clothes and deeply personal objects are in a final section of the exhibition, says Diana Widmeier Picasso, likening the exhibits to a "family archeology" that reveals a little-known side of Picasso: his superstitious influence and his relationship to death and the unseen world.
He even “kept clipped hair and nails to protect them from bad guys,” adds the young woman, who recently published a book on the subject entitled “Magic Picasso” (about Gallimard), co-written with her by anthropologist Philippe Charlier.

Vietnam opens a glass bridge over one of its forests

Vietnam - (AFP) - Vietnam has opened a long glass pedestrian bridge at an altitude of 150 meters above one of its forests, and those who climb it feel as if they are walking in the air.
The tourist walkway called "Bach Long", which means "white dragon" in Vietnamese, was built in the city of Son La (northwest), and it extends along the front of a mountain and ends as a suspension bridge under which lies a stunning valley.

"Looking down is a bit strange at first, but you have to step forward with confidence and it will be amazing," visitor Nguyen Thi Trang told AFP.

The floor of the bridge was made of tempered French glass and can support about 450 people at the same time, providing visitors with a beautiful view of the vegetation below.

"Visitors can enjoy the beauty of nature just by standing on the bridge," said Hoang Manh Dewi, an official of the bridge operator.
The operators confirmed that the bridge is the tallest glass-floor structure in the world, surpassing the 526-meter-high suspension bridge in Guangdong, China.
Guinness World Records representatives are expected to announce next month whether the bridge is a record.

The Vietnamese authorities are seeking to re-attract tourists after a two-year lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as almost all foreign travelers were banned from visiting Vietnam.

In mid-March, the communist country stopped imposing quarantines on foreign visitors and reintroduced visa waivers for tourists from 13 countries.

The Bach Long Bridge is the third glass bridge in Vietnam.
"I hope it will attract more local and foreign tourists to our area," said a local resident after crossing the bridge.

An American campaign to boycott trips encouraging Jewish youth to settle in Palestine

Washington - "Jerusalem" dot com - Americans called for boycotting and canceling the "birthright" project funded by the Israeli government and Zionist lobby organizations in the United States of America, which encourages American Jewish youth to emigrate and settle in Israel. The project seeks to justify the policies of apartheid and the daily crimes it implements Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians.

More than two thousand American citizens have signed the campaign launched by the "Code Pink" organization against these visits. The campaign referred to "the killing policies that the Palestinian people, especially children, are exposed to, and the campaigns of raids, violence, censorship and deadly bombings by Israel since the beginning of the Nakba in 1948." .

The campaign explained that the "birthright" trip that is organized in American universities is a free trip to Israel for 10 days, concealing from visitors the reality of what the Palestinians are subjected to.

She indicated that the goal of the campaign, which she called the "Birthright Boycott" campaign, is to put pressure on the Jewish National Fund and the United Jewish Fund in Chicago to stop activity in American universities and stop funding these visits.

And she indicated that the "right of birth" trips erase the history of Palestine and the Palestinians and completely exclude the fact that the occupation exists from the visit, noting that the organizers of the "right of birth" trips are deeply complicit with the occupation, and encourage Jewish youth to immigrate to and settle in Israel, while the Palestinians are constantly denied the right to return. .

The promotional campaign, which was launched under the slogan "An Integrated Path... One Destination", comes within the framework of the Suez Canal Economic Zone plan for the period from 2020 to 2025 to reach global markets and attract more investments to achieve development.

The campaign aims to introduce the Suez Canal Economic Zone to define “what the authority is and its differences from its local counterparts, its components, and the available investment opportunities within its scope that extends over an area of 455 square kilometers, which includes 6 sea ports, of which three overlook the Red Sea, which are the ports of Al-Sukhna, Al-Adabia and Al-Tur, and three others.” It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, namely Arish, east and west Port Said, and these ports serve four industrial zones and integrate with them,” according to the statement.

These areas include Ain Sokhna Industrial Zone, East Port Said Industrial Zone, East Ismailia Industrial Zone, and Abu Khalifa Industrial Zone.

The promotional campaign also includes "messages about the investment incentives enjoyed by the Suez Canal Economic Zone, infrastructure equipment, facilities, road network and gigantic tunnels that facilitated the movement of people and goods from ports to industrial zones and new cities, especially the Administrative Capital, which made it the most important investment destination in the world."

The promotional campaign also sheds light on the efforts of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) in the past period in order to localize the green fuel industries to be used for export purposes and to supply ships with it, depending on the distinguished geographical location and the capabilities of the industrial zones and ports affiliated to the economic zone.

The statement pointed out that "the first green ammonia projects will be launched from the Ain Sokhna industrial zone in conjunction with the activities of the Climate Change Summit" scheduled to be held in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh next November.

Egypt is implementing a clear strategy to become a regional center for the production and export of green energy

The Egyptian economist, Adel Amer, considered that launching such a promotional campaign is a "good step," especially after the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone prepared the area to receive economic and logistical projects.

Amer, director of the Egyptians Center for Political, Legal and Economic Studies, told Xinhua that Egypt intends to localize the green fuel industry in the Suez Canal economic zone, and I believe it will succeed in that.

He added that the promotional campaign targeted several countries, including China, because these countries are "the most successful in the world in the green economy and in the economy of seaports."

He referred to the Chinese industrial zone "TEDA" in the economic zone of the Suez Canal, stressing that the Chinese zone is one of the most important industrial zones in Egypt.

In addition to the TEDA region, Egypt signed an agreement with Russia to establish a Russian industrial zone in the Suez Canal economic zone, as well as a framework agreement with Poland to establish a Polish industrial zone in Ain Sukhna.

Amer stressed that the economic zone of the Suez Canal is "a promising area on which the Egyptian economy will depend in the next stage," noting that it achieved a surplus of EGP 2.214 billion in the year 2021-2022, which is very good in light of the economic crisis the world is going through.

The total volume of investments in the Suez Canal Economic Zone amounted to $18 billion, as announced by the Egyptian government in February 2021, stressing that it seeks to maximize the economic zone's role as a pivotal logistical center in the global trade movement.

The World Bank: $570 million losses from the recent aggression on Gaza

European Cup: young Spain and talented Italy for the final ticket

Chinese TV deletes footage from the World Cup showing fans without masks

BEIJING - (AFP) - Chinese state television has removed close-ups of videos showing fans at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar without masks, after earlier coverage sparked outrage in China, where demonstrations have erupted over harsh restrictions to combat the spread of COVID-19.

China is the last major economy still trying to stamp out the local spread of COVID-19 through sudden lockdowns, long quarantines and large-scale COVID-19 testing campaigns.

During a live broadcast of Sunday's match between Japan and Costa Rica, CCTV Sports replaced close-ups of maskless fans waving flags with shots of players, officials or the stadium, AFP noted.

CCTV Sports broadcast distant shots of the crowd where it was difficult to identify faces, and fewer group shots than live broadcasts of the same match on online platforms including Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

And tens of millions of people in major cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou and Chongqing, are subject to a kind of general closure, starting from Sunday, in contrast to what is witnessed in the World Cup stadiums in Qatar, which angered many users of social networks in China.

On Tuesday, an open letter asking whether China was "on the same planet" as Qatar circulated on messaging app WeChat before censors removed it.

Hundreds demonstrated in Beijing and Shanghai on Sunday to protest against China's zero Covid policy, in a rare expression of public anger at the country.

The Israeli Knesset approves a bill that will return settlers to the northern West Bank

The Israeli Knesset approved, on Tuesday morning, a bill to abolish the “separation/withdrawal” law, or what is known as “disengagement,” from settlements in the northern West Bank .

According to the Hebrew site Ynet, it was the approval of the draft law, in the first reading, with the support of a majority of 40 members compared to 17 opponents.

The bill provides for lifting the ban imposed on settlers entering and remaining in the evacuated northern West Bank settlement areas.

This means allowing settlers to return to some of the evacuated settlements, as well as outposts that were evacuated recently, including the Homesh outpost, and allowing them to stay in the yeshiva there.

The new draft law does not apply to settlements evacuated from the Gaza Strip in 2005.
