Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi, met today, Sunday, with the Secretary of the Executive Committee, Hussein Al-Sheikh, as part of the ongoing coordination and consultation process between the Kingdom and the State of Palestine.

The two parties discussed the efforts made to stop the deterioration witnessed by the occupied Palestinian territories, and to find a real political horizon to relaunch serious and effective negotiations to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in accordance with the two-state solution, which embodies the independent and sovereign Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with occupied Jerusalem as its capital.

The two parties stressed the need to stop the illegal Israeli measures that undermine the chances of achieving peace.

They also warned of the danger of the continued absence of real movement to resolve the conflict on the basis of the two-state solution.
