Mustafa discusses with Safadi the latest developments and efforts to stop the aggression against our people

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Mustafa met today, Monday, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

Mustafa discussed with Safadi the latest developments in Palestine and the coordination of positions and efforts in international forums to stop the aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip, and the attacks of the occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Mustafa and Safadi stressed the strength of the historical fraternal relations between the two countries, and the joint work to achieve the legitimate rights of our people to end the occupation, freedom and the embodiment of the independent state.

Mustafa appreciated the historical stances and great efforts led by King Abdullah II to support our people and their cause, stressing that Jordan is always the closest to Palestine and the supporter and backer of the Palestinian right.

In turn, Safadi stressed that the embodiment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital on the basis of the two-state solution is the only way to achieve peace, and a priority to which King Abdullah II devotes all the Kingdom's capabilities to achieve.
