Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday released the father and brother of the Palestinian who carried out a deadly shooting attack in Hawara two weeks ago.

Israel accuses Osama Issa Bani Fadl of carrying out the attack, which left two settlers dead in the northern West Bank town.

Hawara has been a flashpoint for settler violence in recent months, witnessing one of the worst grassroots pogroms in the West Bank in February that left one Palestinian dead, dozens more injured, and widespread damage to property. 

On Sunday morning, Israeli occupation forces arrested Issa Bani Fadl and his son Muhammad in a raid on their home. 

The forces have already mapped their home in preparation for demolition over the Osama's alleged involvement in the shooting attack.
