Fatah Council asserts on popular resistance, PLO rearrangement and ending division

The Fatah Movement's Revolutionary Council affirmed, on Saturday, the continuation of the escalation of popular resistance in all locations and the formation of popular resistance committees to confront the settlers.

In a closing statement of its eleventh session, the Council called on all factions to give this file the utmost importance and to engage in popular resistance action.

And he decided to continue the national dialogue with “Fatah” partners in the PLO, activate and develop its departments and frameworks in all fields, give sufficient attention to the Palestinians in the diaspora camps, especially the camps in Lebanon and Ain al-Hilweh in particular, and confront attempts to target the movement and the PLO, and work to rebuild the camps in Syria, and confront the Israeli targeting of the West Bank camps, attempts to dry up UNRWA's funding sources, and the continuation of work with expatriates in the world.

The Council, in its statement,  also decided to continue the dialogue with those outside the Palestine Liberation Organization on the aforementioned basis, with the aim of ending the division and its disastrous consequences for the entire national project.

He stressed that Jerusalem is the essence of the Palestinian national project and the eternal capital, and there is no peace, security or stability without the consecration and independence of the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, as an Arab, Islamic and Christian city.

He stressed that there is no state in Gaza or a state without Gaza, and that the return of Gaza to the political system and geographical unity will remain a priority for the "Fatah" movement.

The Revolutionary Council decided to keep the work of its current session in a permanent state to follow up on the field and political situation.
