Israel's wars... hidden goals and objectives!!!
Israel's successive wars on the Gaza Strip may seem to have security goals and needs "for self-defense, to fight Palestinian terrorism, or to restore stability and calm to the southern region, the Gaza envelope," all of which are declared goals invoked by Israel when it launches any attack on the Gaza Strip. But are there goals and objectives more important and broader in scope that may serve the higher interests of the Jewish state and the vitality of its existence, development and growth!
A comprehensive and scrutinized view of the nature of these wars, the contexts that led to them, and the backgrounds and calculations that constituted a primary motive for them clearly show us the strategic goals that Israel has sought and seeks to achieve. In the beginning, it operates according to a formula with exact rhythm and calculated consequences without emotions, which is what makes it cumulative wars whose objectives expand beyond the battlefields and the barrels of cannons and aircraft missiles, and with each new round of conflict it works to transform tactical security challenges into strategic gains that include many long-term goals. The assassinations carried out by Israel of central leaders in the Palestinian factions are a process of attrition that has far-reaching repercussions. It targets the tried and tested solid core that is capable of combating the occupation and its security and intelligence services. These targets have long-term effects on the overall national struggle and its development. Certainly, it will have severe effects on the nature of the militant action, and these targets will take time to restore balance to these factions and the entire scene of resistance.
The recent confrontation shows how Israel played, and continues to play, to fragment the Palestinian home front. After achieving geographical and political separation, it worked to try to tear apart the remaining field unity between the resistance factions by claiming that the war targets a specific organization. What was known as the axis of resistance and kept it out of the battle.
As for the timing of the war, it was very suitable for the Zionist right-wing agenda, as the colonial society is suffering from a severe crisis that is almost ravaging its internal unity. The past months have shown the size of the divisions and the nature of the dilemma that the entire project suffers from. The war came as a golden opportunity for Netanyahu to try to score internal points and restore the extreme right’s control of the scene. The Zionist internal polls have shown this fact clearly.
And after the sounds of artillery and planes ceased, we can say that Israel was able to achieve many gains that were present from the first moment in the Zionist mentality before going to this battle. It opened the door for the entry of Israel as an important player in the Arab region and the region, whose pace of progress has declined due to the successive developments on the Palestinian land, so that it has re-established the central conflict of the regional and international political and media scene. This approach has worked through various political, media and security means to promote Israel's capabilities and progress.
Israel has already been able to achieve significant gains on the Arab and regional levels by selling its advanced security systems, which also comes within the general context of opening markets to Israeli military industries and expanding the area of benefiting from its wars and promoting its systems with a central declared goal for decades to expand the circle of alliances or what Ben-Gurion called it. The policy of the parties to transform Israel into a center with significant regional and international weight.
