A memorial festival in Jenin camp for six martyrs who died a year ago
Jenin - "Jerusalem" dot com - Ali Samoudi - The national and Islamic forces in Jenin camp organized, on Friday evening, a memorial festival on the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrs whose bodies are withheld: Saleh Ahmed Ammar, Amjad Iyad Husseiniya, Nur al-Din Abdullah Jarrar, Raed Ziyad Abu Saif Diaa Al-Sabarini, and Dirar Al-Kafrini, who were shot dead by the Israeli occupation on August 16 of last year at the entrance to Jenin camp, with the participation of the families of the martyrs whose bodies are being held by the occupation from the governorates of Jenin and Nablus.
The participants in the festival demanded that the bodies of the martyrs detained by the occupation authorities be handed over, including the body of the martyr Jamil Al-Amouri, who was martyred on June 10, 2021.
The festival began with a military parade of armed men from the resistance factions, during which they carried symbolic coffins bearing pictures of the martyrs whose bodies are kept in the graves of numbers.
The participants lined up in the festival square, which was decorated with Palestinian flags and their pictures, in addition to pictures of the prisoners and martyrs of the Islamic Jihad leaders who were assassinated by the occupation in Gaza.
They denounced the silence of the international community towards the aggression, crimes and massacres committed by the occupation, the latest of which was in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the crime of holding the bodies of the martyrs, stressing that our people will continue their struggle to prosecute and defeat Israel and liberate the bodies of the martyrs and prisoners and every grain of soil from Palestine.
For his part, Fathi Khazem, the father of the martyr Raad, delivered a speech on the resistance, during which he saluted the martyrs and their families, stressing that the resistance will continue to carry the gun and fight on their path and covenant until the occupation is defeated, which will not undermine the determination and will of our people who insist on completing their path and struggle regardless of the challenges and conspiracies, stressing on The need to strengthen national unity, empower the home front, and close ranks to stand up to the plans of the occupation.
His father, the martyr Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, also delivered a speech in which she called on everyone to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs, carry their flag, preserve their blood, and confront the occupation.
The speakers called on the international community and all free people in the world to intervene to put an end to the occupation's crimes committed against our people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
At the end of the festival, the mothers and families of the martyrs, whose bodies are being held, were honored from the Jenin and Nablus governorates.
