This morning, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

In Qalqilya, the occupation forces stormed Azzun from its northern entrance, amidst the firing of sound bombs and toxic gas, and arrested the two brothers: Muhammad and Othman Abdul Hadi, and assaulted the young man Omar Nasser Salama, after raiding and searching their homes.

The occupation forces also raided several homes in the areas of Al-Maqbara, Khallet Al-Darba, Al-Muthallath, Jisr Al-Khalayel, and Al-Mansoura. The owners were identified as: Mufid, Tamer, Naji, Kazem, Rashid Radwan, Abdul Hadi Al-Badran, Mustafa Adwan, Nasser Salama, and Aboud Yousef Salama. They searched them and ransacked their contents, causing havoc.

The occupation forces also detonated an explosive device in the home of citizen Abdul Hadi Badran, after forcing the family to evacuate their home and stay for hours in the bitter cold. The explosion also resulted in partial destruction of the contents of the home, and partial damage to citizen Badran’s vehicle.

In Bethlehem, the following were arrested: Muhammad Wael Daajneh (22 years old), Muhammad Salah Al-Masaeed (22 years old), Bassam Abdul Rahman Abu Aker (62 years old), and the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in Aida Camp north of Bethlehem, Marwan Mahmoud Fararjah (37 years old), who are both released detainees, after raiding and searching their families’ homes in the camp.

The occupation forces also arrested the two young men, Muhammad Mustafa Sabatin and Ahmad Mahmoud Hamamra, both 19 years old, from the village of Husan to the west, after raiding and searching their parents’ homes.

From the town of Al-Khader to the south, these forces arrested citizen Masid Suleiman Salah (48 years old), after raiding his house and tampering with its contents.

In Al-Bireh, they arrested the young man Abdullah Al-Aref from the Umm Al-Sharait neighborhood, after raiding and searching his house.

In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces arrested the young man, Islam Zayed, after storming his house in Qalandia camp and searching it.
