The Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" quoted retired General Yitzhak Brick as saying, "If Netanyahu rejects the deal again, it will be like an atomic bomb dropped on us."

The newspaper added about Brick: “If Netanyahu rejects the deal again, we will lose the prisoners forever and we will be on the brink of a regional war.”

Brik revealed, "Continuing the war will not contribute at all to achieving victory. Rather, Israel's defeat will be more painful."

He stressed that "if the Israeli army is not able to defeat Hamas, it certainly will not be able to defeat Hezbollah."
