Hamas: Another Israeli female prisoner was killed, and Netanyahu and his government bear responsibility
The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the death of an Israeli female prisoner due to the ongoing aggression on the northern Gaza Strip, and said that Israel must prepare to deal with the problem of the disappearance of the bodies of its prisoners.
Qassam spokesman Abu Obeida said on his Telegram account: “After the return of communication that had been cut off for weeks with the mujahideen tasked with protecting the enemy’s prisoners, it became clear that one of the female prisoners was killed in an area exposed to Israeli aggression in the northern Gaza Strip,” stressing that the danger “still threatens the life of another female prisoner who was with her.”
He added that the widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip and the martyrdom of some captives led to the disappearance of the bodies of some prisoners.
Abu Obeida held Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he described as a war criminal, his government and his army leaders "fully responsible for the lives of their prisoners," and said that they "are the ones who insist on causing their suffering and death."
This comes as Israeli media reported that dozens of Israelis took to the streets in demonstrations in Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv, to demand a prisoner exchange deal.
