Suffocation injuries due to the occupation forces firing toxic gas at citizens west of Hebron
A number of citizens suffered from suffocation, Saturday evening, after the Israeli occupation forces fired sound bombs and tear gas at them west of Hebron, while military checkpoints were set up at the entrances to the city, south of the West Bank.
According to local sources, the occupation forces fired sound bombs and toxic gas at citizens stuck in their vehicles at the military checkpoint erected at the western entrance to the city of Hebron in the "Farsh al-Hawa" area, which caused a number of them to suffer from suffocation due to inhaling toxic gas, and they were treated in the field.
The occupation forces also set up military checkpoints at the northern entrances to Hebron, the entrances to the towns of Sa'ir, Yatta, Dura, Halhul, and the entrances to the Fawwar and Al-Arroub camps. They stopped and searched citizens' vehicles and checked the personal identification cards of their passengers, which hindered their passage.
