Netanyahu is heading to dissolve the war council
Israeli Channel 13 reported from sources that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heading to dissolve the war council, after the ultimatum issued by Council Minister Benny Gantz.
Minister Gantz had threatened to withdraw from the Israeli war government, and set a deadline for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to approve a post-war plan for Gaza.
Sources told Channel 13 that if Netanyahu fails to include New Hope Party leader Gideon Saar in the war government, the council will be dissolved.
The sources added that Netanyahu is trying to include Sa'ar - despite the weak chances of this happening - to block the attempts of right-wing ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich to join the council.
