Tens of thousands performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the mosque and the Old City.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem estimated that about 40,000 citizens performed Friday prayers in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid the deployment of the occupation forces in the streets of the city and the vicinity of the mosque, stationing them at its gates, and checking the personal cards of the worshipers.
