What is the truth about Cristiano Ronaldo moving to the Saudi victory?
Doha - (AFP) - The Saudi club Al-Nasr is in contact with the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently separated from Manchester United, to join his ranks, but nothing was signed until Monday, according to what Agence France-Presse learned from sources within the capital club.
And the Spanish newspaper “Marca” claimed on Monday that Ronaldo will play with Al-Nasr starting in January, after he was left without a team after his separation from United, due to his public criticism of the club and its Dutch coach, Eric ten Hag.
An official at Al-Nasr Club revealed to France Press, on condition of anonymity, that the 37-year-old "did not sign."
In the middle of last week, another source inside the Saudi club confirmed the fact that there were "serious negotiations", and even indicated the possibility of the signing taking place in Doha, where the World Cup finals will be held, in which "CR7" will participate with his country's national team.
But this source added that there are still points to be settled "on the issue of image rights".
And on November 23, in the midst of the Qatar World Cup finals, the decision was made to separate Ronaldo and United by "mutual agreement."
The Portuguese star returned to the “Red Devils” in 2021 to go through his second experience with him, after a first that extended from 2003 to 2009, before leaving him to join Spanish Real Madrid, where he won all possible titles, including four in the Champions League.
The only player to score in five consecutive editions of the World Cup, on Tuesday, will play the World Cup final price match against Switzerland against Switzerland.

The Fatwa Council calls on Arabs and Muslims to defend their Prophet and their sanctities

The European Union presents a "final text" on the Iran nuclear deal
Vienna (AFP) - The European Union has presented a "final text" in negotiations to revive the Iran nuclear deal , a European official said Monday, expressing hope that an agreement would be reached "within a few weeks."
"We worked for four days, and today the text has been put before the senior delegates. The negotiations have ended and this is the final text. It will not be renegotiated," the source told reporters, on condition of anonymity.
After a months-long stalemate, diplomats from all the signatories (Iran, Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom and France) returned to Vienna last Thursday in an effort to salvage the 2015 agreement.
The 2015 agreement made it possible to lift sanctions against the Islamic Republic in return for reducing its nuclear activities and ensuring the peacefulness of its program.
However, the United States unilaterally withdrew from it in 2018 during the era of its former president, Donald Trump, re-imposing harsh economic sanctions on Iran, which responded by gradually retracting most of its obligations under it.
Iran and the powers participating in the agreement began talks to revive it in April 2021 in Vienna, with the indirect participation of the United States and the facilitation of the European Union.
The European official said, "The ball is now in the court of the (concerned) capitals, and we will see what happens," adding that "a person will not remain in Vienna" for any additional negotiations.
While stressing the "quality" of the text, he said "we very much hope it will be approved" and that an agreement will be reached "within a few weeks".
A major hurdle remains, as Iran is calling on the International Atomic Energy Agency to "completely" end the case of finding traces of nuclear material at undeclared Iranian sites.
Commenting on the matter, the European official said that this issue "has nothing to do with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (the official name of the nuclear deal). Meanwhile, Iran insists that it is essential. I hope Iran will reach an agreement (in this regard) with the IAEA." Atomic energy, as this will facilitate many things.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Sunday, "We believe that the IAEA should fully resolve the remaining (nuclear) safeguards issues by adopting a technical path and distancing itself from politically deviant and non-constructive issues."

Terrorism has no nationality, race, or religion.... Fethullah Gulen's organization threatens humanity
Written by: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu
On the evening of July 15, 2016, the "Fetullah Terrorist Organization" staged a coup attempt against the people and government of Turkey. Their goal was to establish a radical, extremist regime loyal only to their leader, Fethullah Gulen. Units of the Turkish army affiliated with the Fethullah terrorist organization left military headquarters with the aim of controlling key sites in the country, such as the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul, and fighter jets and attack helicopters bombed strategic targets including the parliament headquarters, the presidential complex, and army and police headquarters; Thousands of civilians took to the streets to stop the coup attempt. They killed 251 innocent civilians and injured thousands. That night the Turkish people defended democracy. This heroic response was something the conspirators did not expect.
To understand what happened that night, we must understand the truth about the Fathullah terrorist organization, which was founded in the late 1960s on the basis that it was a religious movement, under the guise of promoting education and interfaith dialogue, and managed to cover its malicious intentions.
Members of the Fathullah Terrorist Organization infiltrated widely with the help of the army, police, judiciary and ministries including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs many years ago, and their plans were implemented on the night of July 15, 2016.
Had their attempted coup succeeded, Turkey would have become a very different country than it is today. If democracy would not exist, and basic rights and freedoms would be suspended indefinitely, Turkey would have fallen into the hands of an extremist government.
The Fethullah Terrorist Organization controlled a large number of educational institutions and financial institutions, they were financially supported and money transferred to their bank accounts by prominent members of the Gulen Organization, who lured innocent civilians by manipulating them to join their organization.
In the aftermath of the bloody coup attempt of July 15, 2016, Turkey began a resolute purge of government sectors, including ministries and the army, as well as the private sector of all individuals and companies affiliated with the FETO. Some of the prominent conspirators were arrested, and others were able to escape from justice and flee to foreign countries. The head of the FETÖ terrorist organization, Fethullah Gülen, still resides in the United States. Our government has been calling for years to extradite Gülen to Turkey, and to extradite members of the FETÖ organization living in Europe. , but unfortunately, these requests have not yet been met.
The nature and scope of Turkey's fight against the FETÖ is not different from that of other countries against organizations that carry out terrorist acts against their own citizens and officials alike, and that endanger democratic values, basic rights, and freedoms.
What Turkey is doing against the Gulen Organization is the same thing that those countries have done in their wars against terrorism, and all that Turkey is doing is in accordance with the law.
Terrorism has no nationality, race or religion. This danger threatens humanity. Therefore, the response to this threat must be unified and firm. No country has the luxury of distinguishing between terrorist organizations, and no terrorist organization can be classified as "useful" according to personal interests.
The FETÖ is responsible for killing hundreds of lives and serious crimes against the Turkish people. Six years after their coup attempt, Turkey continues its resolute war against the FETÖ, just as it continues its war against other terrorist organizations such as the PKK, the People's Protection Units, and the DFLP. Revolutionary People's Liberation and ISIS.
We expect the international community to stand in solidarity with Turkey in its fight against terrorism.

Launching the Freedom is a Right campaign to support the re-arrested prisoners after their liberation in the Shalit deal

The United States says it is still open to talks with North Korea, despite the new "provocations".
Washington (AFP) - The United States said Tuesday it remains open to talks with North Korea, despite leader Kim Jong-un's "provocations" by vowing to accelerate his country's nuclear activity.
US State Department spokesman Ned Price said, "We remain open to engaging in diplomacy and dialogue with North Korea" on ending its nuclear program.
"But we also have an obligation to deal with the recent provocations that we have seen from North Korea, including the recent launches of two intercontinental missiles," he told reporters.
And the US official considered that the speech that Kim made on Monday night during a military parade in Pyongyang confirms the validity of "our assessment that North Korea poses a threat to international peace and security and to the international order regarding the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons."
Kim pledged to work to "strengthen and develop" his country's nuclear arsenal, in a speech he delivered while attending a military parade in Pyongyang that included a display of intercontinental missiles, state media reported Tuesday.
Despite being subject to severe sanctions, North Korea has accelerated efforts to modernize its military capabilities, and conducted tests on banned weapons this year, ignoring US offers for talks, at a time when observers warned that the Stalinist regime might resume its nuclear tests.
In his speech, Kim said, "We will continue at the fastest pace to take steps to enhance and develop our country's nuclear capabilities."
He added, "Nuclear force, the symbol of our national strength and the core of our military power, should be strengthened in terms of quality and scale."
And while the North Korean leader stressed that "the primary mission of our nuclear weapons is deterrence, but our nuclear weapons cannot be limited to a single mission that is deterrence," he threatened that "if a force attempts to rob our country's basic interests, our nuclear power will have no other choice but to complete its second mission." .

South Sudan.. a decade of bloodshed

Two Koreans arrested in South Korea for leaking military secrets
Seoul - (AFP) - Two South Koreans, one of whom is an army captain, have been arrested for stealing military secrets with the aim of sending them to a North Korean agent in return for payment in cryptocurrency, Seoul police said Friday.
One of the spies, a 29-year-old army captain, is suspected of having sent a North Korean agent information allowing access to the South Korean military's internal communications network.
The second is a 38-year-old businessman who owns a virtual portfolio management company. It is suspected that, at the request of a Pyongyang agent, he provided the first suspect with a bracelet equipped with a hidden camera so that he could collect intelligence information more easily.
The second suspect is also accused of having bought and collected parts of a "USB" device that allows hacking a computer quickly, with the aim of gaining access to the South Korean military communications system.
"The two men have been arrested on charges of violating the national security law," a South Korean national police official told AFP.
According to Seoul police, the businessman began communicating with the North Korean client six years ago, through a virtual group dedicated to cryptocurrency. The suspects were communicating via Telegram.
The businessman is suspected of receiving about $600,000 in cryptocurrency, and the military about $38,000, from a Pyongyang agent in return for their services, according to police.

Brussels seeks to change the rules of the gas market in order to reduce prices
Strasbourg (France) (AFP) - Under pressure from European Union member states worried about the approach of winter, the European Commission on Tuesday presented details of its proposals aimed at controlling energy prices by dealing with price instability in the gas market.
Faced with deep divisions among the bloc's 27 countries over the idea of a price cap, Brussels is introducing measures "subject to maximum unanimity", as the Commission emphasized.
The proposals, which will be unveiled in Strasbourg, will be reviewed Thursday and Friday by heads of state and government at a summit meeting in Brussels before their possible adoption in November.
On Tuesday, the Commission will introduce a reform of the gas market index "TTF", which European operators consider a benchmark for transactions and which, according to it, is fueled by speculation "artificially".
The idea is to replace it within six months with an alternative index that is more representative of real supplies.
Until then, Brussels recommends a "temporary mechanism" to correct gas prices. According to a European source, it would be a "dynamic corridor" (a flexible range in which prices are allowed to fluctuate) to frame transactions in the TTF market, making it possible to mitigate volatility and avoid any sharp rise.
On the other hand, Brussels wants to force member states to agree to joint purchases of gas at the level of the European Union for the next season to fill stocks in order to obtain better prices from "reliable" suppliers (Norway and the United States...) and to prevent the bloc countries from rivalry.
European Union member states gave the go-ahead in March to launch a joint procurement platform, but no deal was concluded through it and countries continued to negotiate unilaterally.
Now, the Commission wants to involve the private sector more through a consortium of importing companies.
The Commission will also propose an enhanced solidarity framework for countries at risk of supply shortages, and additional tools to reduce gas consumption: in the face of different efforts between countries, Germany and the Netherlands have called for "more ambitious and binding targets".
The European economy is suffering badly from Russia cutting its supplies of hydrocarbons, on which the bloc relies heavily.
But the European Union is facing great difficulty in finding a common response, with diverging interests between countries, such as France, which bets on nuclear energy, or Germany, which depends on coal, or countries linked to Russian hydrocarbons in Central Europe.
"The prices are insane: we agree on the diagnosis, but we are still discussing the appropriate treatment," Roberto Chengolani, Italy's Minister of Environmental Transition, summed it up on Wednesday.
In this context, the Commission should not propose capping the price of gas that electricity suppliers buy for their thermal plants, according to the previously mentioned European source.
This system, applied in Portugal and Spain, allows electricity prices to drop automatically.
France supports the idea of expanding it to include the rest of the European Union and has pledged to persuade other member states to adopt it. However, this mechanism raises the mistrust of countries such as Germany and the Netherlands, which reject state intervention in the markets and fear the risks of increasing demand for gas due to the increased appetite of electricity suppliers.
But at their meeting, the 27 countries may agree to "explore" the measure, according to draft conclusions seen by AFP.
On the other hand, it seems that the idea of capping gas import prices, which was mentioned by the Commission in early November and then demanded by 15 member states, including France, has become forgotten.
It is an idea that Berlin has opposed, fearing it could exacerbate tensions in LNG supplies in a tight global market.
During a meeting in Prague in early November, European leaders expressed their concerns about the economic and social consequences of inflation.
"If we don't find a solution, people will end up on the streets, a weak economy, bankruptcy, less popular support for climate policies and aid for Ukraine. This winter will be decisive," Czech Industry Minister Josef Sekela said last week.

Finding the body of an immigrant and saving dozens in Tunisia
Tunisia - (dpa) - The Tunisian Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, the recovery of the body of a migrant and the rescue of 97 immigrants of several foreign nationalities in three separate interventions by the Army of the Sea.
And the Tunisian navy rescued, in the intervention of the first 68 migrants, who had set off from the Libyan coast on the night between the first and second day of this July, towards the European coast, before their boat broke down and they took refuge in a gas production platform 70 km from the island of Kerkennah in the state of Sfax (center). Tunisia).
Among the surviving migrants , 37 are from Egypt, 13 from Bangladesh, 12 from Syria, 2 from Somalia and 4 from Sudan, according to the ministry's statement.
The naval units also recovered the body of a migrant from a sub-Saharan African country.
In a second phase, the Tunisian navy rescued two boats off the coast of Sfax with 29 Tunisian immigrants on board.
Secret migration boats are more active with the stabilization of the climate in the summer period in the Mediterranean basin.
The rescue operations come in the wake of the sinking of a boat near the coast of the island of Djerba in the south, which led to the death of six migrants and the survival of 11 migrants.
The Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights, which deals with migration, counted the death and missing of about 400 immigrants near the Tunisian coast this year until the end of last May.

Secret documents reveal that bin Laden was planning to strike the American railroads
Washington - "Jerusalem" dot com - Saeed Erekat - The American researcher, Nelly Lahoud, who worked for years on reviewing and translating documents obtained by the United States, during the raid that killed the former al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden, in 2011, revealed that he was planning another target. Greater than just killing Americans in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Lahoud revealed the contents of these documents on the famous "Sixty Minutes" program on CBS on Sunday.
The US Special Forces of the US Navy killed bin Laden in his residential compound in Abbottabad on the first of May 2011 and obtained during the operation thousands of documents containing letters and personal notes.
In 2017, the CIA declassified most of these messages, but they were left without context and unorganized.
During the past years, the Islamic writer and researcher, Nelly Lahoud, who studied at Harvard and Cambridge Universities, spent several years researching and examining these letters carefully.
CBS website said. In 2012, the CIA declassified the first 17 documents, and Lahoud was asked to analyze those documents.
Over the past five years I have read, analyzed and translated the remaining declassified documents in consultation with US generals and Special Forces commanders.
In her new book, The Bin Laden Papers, the author explained in detail her analysis of the nearly 6,000 pages of these documents that she reviewed.
The researcher explains in two interviews on the "60 Minutes" program that immediately after the attacks of September 11, al-Qaeda did not expect the United States to wage a major war against it, only expecting limited air strikes.
New translations of Osama bin Laden's personal documents show that the purpose of 9/11 was not only to kill Americans, but to incite protests within the United States.
"It was a huge miscalculation," Lahoud said.
A Gallup poll conducted in October 2001 showed that 88 percent of Americans supported military intervention in Afghanistan.
She explains that bin Laden "believed that the American people would take to the streets to repeat the protests against the Vietnam War and would pressure their government to withdraw from Muslim-majority countries."
In a letter from 2010, bin Laden says that direct pressure can be exerted on "the White House, Congress and the Pentagon ... when al Qaeda directly affects the American people."
In the years after 9/11, bin Laden had plans for other attacks aimed at fomenting "popular anger and domestic opposition" on American soil.
The researcher explains in her book that in a speech to the organization in 2005, bin Laden said that priority should be given to attacks in America.
With the difficulty of carrying out good attacks with aircraft, he offered to target American railways by "removing 12 meters of track so that a train could derail and explain the simple set of tools they could use."
But he failed to implement the plan after the organization became "helpless," according to a message from an al-Qaeda field commander.
The message sent by the leader, Bin Laden, says: "We Muslims have been desecrated, our state has been torn apart, our lands have been occupied, and our wealth has been plundered."
Osama bin Laden planned another terrorist attack in 2010 against crude oil tankers and key shipping routes throughout the Middle East and Africa.
But it seems that his final plan of attack was halted by the "Arab Spring" protests, which were confusing and disturbing to him.

3 grains of asteroid dust store its secrets
Tokyo - (AFP) - Despite their small size, and being smaller than the thickness of a hair, three grains of dust carry a history that extends billions of years to an asteroid , and store many of its secrets.
The three particles from the Itokawa asteroid revealed that this type of space object is much older than previously thought, and is much more solid.
This entails a review of plans in place to avoid a collision with the planet, according to a study published Monday in the "Proceedings" journal of the US National Academy of Sciences.
The three samples were brought in 2005 from the asteroid, when it was about 300 million kilometers from Earth. Five years later, the Japanese space probe "Hayabusa" transported these samples to Earth, along with hundreds of other particles from Itokawa.
Professor at the Faculty of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Australian Curtin University Fred Jordan sought to know the age of Itokawa, a type of asteroid described as having a "loose mass".
It is caused by the aggregation of fragments of a compact asteroid that was shattered by the impact.
It is known that compact asteroids have a lifetime of a few hundred million years, and that they are gradually eroding due to collisions with other asteroids.
Loose-mass asteroids, such as Itokawa, have a very different structure, containing a variety of rocks, dust, pebbles, and even voids, held together by a small effect of gravity.
Professor Jordan likened it to "a giant pillow in space, and pillows are capable of absorbing shocks."
To find out to what degree, the team analyzed the crystal structure of the samples, looking for deformations from the collision that created Itokawa, and dating them.
The researchers concluded that Itokawa was formed after a collision that occurred at least 4.2 billion years ago, which is approximately the age of Earth (4.5 billion years), but more importantly, it is ten times older than the age of homogeneous asteroids of similar size.
Because of the importance of the age of this asteroid, Jordan is convinced that some of his colleagues will not believe him.
The study indicated that the flexibility of this type of space object in the face of collisions leads to the belief that it may be much more than previously thought.
The geochemist said that the result of this is the adaptation of methods of protection from Earth's collision with this type of asteroid.
The "Dart" experiment to deflect an asteroid, which was successfully conducted by the US space agency (NASA) last year, shows that this is possible with an object like Itokawa, according to the scientist. But this would require much greater force to be applied to it, for example with a nuclear warhead, so that "the shock wave would be able to deflect the asteroid from its trajectory".

The United Nations General Assembly obliges the five countries in the Security Council to justify their use of the veto
United Nations (United States) - (AFP) - The United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution Tuesday requiring the five permanent members of the UN Security Council to justify their use of vetoes, in a rare reform that drew applause and was revived by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The measure, which directly targets the United States, China, Russia, France and the United Kingdom, the five countries that alone have veto power, was proposed by Liechtenstein to make them "pay a higher political price" when they use their vetoes, said an ambassador from a country that does not have veto power, who requested anonymity. .
However, will the reform prompt the five permanent members to reduce the use of the veto stipulated in the United Nations Charter, or will it have an incentive effect to increase the use of it to stop the passage of unacceptable texts?
Only the future can answer this question. Some countries may push the United States to veto texts on Israel. On the other hand, Washington can put forward a draft resolution to tighten sanctions on North Korea, which has been under discussion for several weeks, for a vote in the Security Council, despite knowing that Moscow and Beijing will veto it.
The reform, which was presented for the first time two and a half years ago, stipulates that the General Assembly convene "within ten working days after the opposition of one or more permanent members of the Security Council to discuss the situation that prompted it to use the veto."
Nearly 100 countries have joined Liechtenstein to sponsor this text, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and all European Union member states.
Russia and China did not join the parties that presented the text, which would further contribute to the "division" of the United Nations, said a Russian diplomat who requested anonymity before adopting it.
The Ambassador of Liechtenstein, Christian Wenawesser, confirmed that the project "does not target anyone," stressing that it is "not directed against Russia," while voting on it after fruitless attempts for more than two years coincides with the paralysis of the Security Council to stop the Russian invasion due to Moscow's right of veto.
As for the United States, Russia has been taking advantage of its veto power for two decades, and the approved text makes it possible to address this matter.
Christian Wenawesser said the resolution aims to "strengthen the role of the United Nations, multilateralism and the voices of all of us who do not have the right of veto and are not represented in the Security Council on matters of international peace and security."
The text is non-binding and nothing prevents a state that used the right of veto from not appearing to justify it before the General Assembly. An ambassador said, on condition of anonymity, that its immediate application would "shed light" on the use of this right and on the "obstruction processes" in the Security Council.
In addition to the five permanent members of the Security Council, the Council also includes ten members who are elected for two-year terms that do not have veto power.
Among the sponsors of the resolution, in addition to Ukraine, are Japan and Germany, two countries that aspire to obtain permanent membership in the event that the Security Council is expanded - an expansion that has reached a dead end for years - to better represent today's world.
But neither Brazil, which indicated on Tuesday that its veto power could be useful in securing peace, nor India, the other country seeking permanent membership, are on the list of sponsors obtained by AFP.
Since the first veto used by the Soviet Union in 1946 in the Syrian and Lebanese files, Russia has resorted to it 143 times, while the United States has used it only 86 times, the United Kingdom 30 times, and China and France each 18 times.

Skyline calls on social networking sites to stop pursuing Palestinian content
Stockholm - "Jerusalem" dot com - Skyline International for Human Rights has expressed its deep concern about the escalation of violations against Palestinian content on social media, which are constantly monitored, stressing that the policy of restriction and prosecution pursued by those sites must be ended immediately.
The organization said in a statement issued today, Saturday, that it considers with great seriousness the shocking numbers of documented violations against Palestinian content through social media, in conjunction with the International Social Media Day, which falls on June 30 of each year, calling on those sites to respect Relevant international conventions and human rights rules for companies that guarantee freedom of publication and participation without restrictions or conditions.
