The prisoner, Sheikh Khader Adnan (44 years), from the town of Arraba / Jenin, continues his hunger strike for the 74th day in a row, in rejection of his arrest, and continues his refusal to take supplies and medical examinations.

The Captive Club confirmed that the prisoner Adnan has reached a very dangerous health stage, and that the risks of his exposure to martyrdom are escalating, day after day, as he is in (Ramla) prison, in tragic conditions, and is being held in a cell equipped with cameras, and the guards deliberately break into his cell repeatedly.

The Prisoner's Club pointed out that the prison administration refuses to allow his family to visit him, and refuses to transfer him to a (civilian) hospital, despite the extreme danger he has reached.

According to the last visit that the lawyer made to him, the prisoner Adnan suffers from several apparent symptoms, represented by his frequent loss of consciousness, severe weakness and emaciation, great difficulty in concentrating, and he vomits continuously.

A session was held for him on Monday, in the (Salem) Military Court, to consider his request for his release on bail, and during the session, the occupation prosecution threatened to implement forced treatment against him, and during the session it expressed its strict position in maintaining his detention, and at that time the court decided to postpone its response to the request until Thursday.

It is noteworthy that the prisoner Adnan has been detained since the fifth of last February, and he had announced his hunger strike since the moment of his arrest, and later the occupation authorities issued an indictment against him, in contrast, Sheikh Adnan rejected all of what was stated in the indictment.

Al-Hadmi: The violations of the occupation in Jerusalem are on a dangerous upward trend

The Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Fadi Al-Hadmi, called on the international community to take action to stop the occupation's violations and attacks in the city of Jerusalem, which are taking a dangerous upward trend.

This came when he received in his office, today, Wednesday, the Head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Finland in Palestine, Pävij Pelkoski.

During the meeting, Al-Hidmi reviewed the serious developments that took place during the past few weeks, especially the attacks on worshipers, and the restriction of prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher during Holy Saturday.

He said, "The occupation police brutally assaulted worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and imposed restrictions on the worshipers' entry, in order to clear the way for settlers' incursions into the mosque."

He added, "I also assaulted the participants in the Holy Saturday celebrations and prevented large numbers of them from reaching the Church of the Holy Sepulchre."

The Minister of Jerusalem Affairs warned of extensive settlement plans being prepared in various Israeli committees, including a plan to demolish dozens of commercial establishments in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood, to implement the so-called "Silicon Valley" plan, and to build hundreds of settlement units on Palestinian lands in the city.

Al-Hadmi pointed out, "Once again, recent developments in the occupied city of Jerusalem have proven beyond any doubt that the occupation is the cause of the conflict in the city, and that settler violence and violations are the fuel of this conflict."

And he continued: "The desired security and stability in the city will be achieved in the event of ending the occupation, and the international community is required to intervene effectively and immediately to stop the attacks, and as a first step, the international community must provide international protection for the Palestinian people until they achieve their rights to freedom and independence and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."

Netflix is treading cautiously on the road to diversifying its revenues

Netflix , which now has 232.5 million subscribers, is beginning to convince the market that offering more diversified and user-friendly subscription packages pays off in the long run.

On Tuesday, the streaming video giant published financial results that did not carry major surprises, as revenue rose slightly year-on-year to $8.16 billion, with a net profit of $1.3 billion (down 18%).

And Paul Verna, an analyst at Insider Intelligence, considered that these "somewhat tepid" numbers do not prove that the company will be able to activate its activities through advertisements and the imposition of a financial fee for sharing passwords.

He also noted that the number of new subscribers attracted by the platform was lower than what the market expected during the first three months of the year, 1.75 million instead of 2.2 million.

After the big boom during the pandemic, Netflix faced a very difficult year in 2022, which prompted company officials to focus more on diversifying revenue sources rather than increasing users.

In November, the network launched a new, cheaper subscription that included ads with the programmes.

Netflix said in its earnings statement that "interest in this new format has exceeded our expectations, and we're seeing very few existing subscribers switch" to this lower-cost offer.

The giant American group has noticed, in particular, that the subscription formula with ads generates more profits for it in the United States compared to traditional subscriptions.

But Thirdbridge analyst Jamie Lumley noted that "implementation appears to be very slow". "Our experts are counting on 10 to 20 million ad subscriptions annually, instead of the initial ambition of 40 million," he added.

The platform also seeks to force users to pay to add new profiles to their accounts, rather than sharing their password for free.

Implementation of this new approach has been slightly delayed, but is expected this quarter in most countries, including the United States.

The results of the tests on this formula and its publication in Latin America and finally in Canada have been positive, according to the co-general manager of the network, Greg Peters.

"First, the subscriptions get cancelled," Peters told an analyst conference. "Then people who were using pseudonymous profiles create their own accounts and add private profiles, and we get our strength back in terms of subscriptions and revenue."

Ultimately, both initiatives "encounter obstacles and will take time for widespread adoption," says Paul Verna.

Insider Intelligence estimates that Netflix will generate $770 million in ad revenue in the US this year, and more than $1 billion in 2024.

Rival platform Disney Plus also added a new format with ads at the end of last year.

But according to the research firm, competition is also taking place, above all, with other entertainment services.

In March, the company predicted that in 2024, adult US users of TikTok would spend an average of 58 minutes per day on the app, behind Netflix in the rankings with 62 minutes, and ahead of YouTube (48.7 minutes).

Analysts also noted the “second screen” phenomenon, where “viewers often watch clips on TikTok while Netflix is playing in the background. Advertisers considering buying ads on Netflix should be aware that some viewers may get distracted to the point of abandoning the broadcast program.” gushing".

Last January, Spencer Newman, the company's chief financial officer, expressed his hope that ads would quickly represent 10% of Netflix's sales volume at the start, and "much more after that."

Netflix also announced Tuesday that it will end by next September the mail-in DVD rental, a service it launched 25 years ago.

The company explained, "Our goal has always been to provide the best service to our members. But it has become very complicated with the decline in this activity."

Biden invites to the White House a black boy who was shot because he accidentally knocked on the door of a house

US President Joe Biden announced Tuesday that he had invited a black boy, who was seriously wounded by gunshot wounds, to the White House after knocking on the wrong door of a house in Missouri.

"Ralph, we'll see you in the Oval (office) when you feel better," Biden wrote in a tweet, noting that he had called the 16-year-old the day before.

Ralph Jarl was about to pick up his brothers at a friend's house around 10 pm on April 13 in the large city of Kansas City, in the state of central Missouri, in the central United States, when the doorbell of a house accidentally rang.

The owner of the house, who is in his eighties, shot the young man from behind a glass door, hitting him in the arm and head, according to court documents seen by Agence France-Presse.

Lawyers for the boy's family said in a statement that he was recovering "despite the seriousness of his injury". Among the lawyers is Ben Crump, who specializes in defending African Americans, who are victims of police violence in particular.

Zachary Thompson, the lawyer for Andrew Lister, 84, who shot the boy, told a news conference that his client had been charged with two charges on Monday, one of which carries a life sentence.

In a statement sent to AFP, the county sheriff's office said Lester came to the detention center on Tuesday. He was later released on bail.

New car sales in Europe increased steadily in March

New car sales in Europe recorded a steady increase in March, exceeding one million cars, for the first time since June 2021, according to figures published by the Manufacturers Association on Wednesday.

Sales in the continental bloc last month amounted to 1,87,939 cars, an annual increase of 28.8 percent.

The markets of all EU countries witnessed an increase in sales, led by Spain (66.1 percent) and Italy (40.7 percent).

This increase is due to the remarkable improvement in the availability of electronic components, the shortage of which last year almost paralyzed the sales markets during March 2022.

The increase in sales comes even though this problem has not yet been fully resolved.

In the first quarter of 2023, new car sales in the European Union amounted to approximately 2.7 million vehicles, an increase of 17.9 percent over last year. The most significant increase was also recorded in Spain and Italy, with 44.5 and 26.2 percent, respectively, followed by France, with an increase of 15.2 percent.

Electric cars accounted for 13.9 percent of total sales in March. Within a year, sales of cars with electric motors increased by 58 percent.

However, cars with fuel engines still occupy the largest share of the market, as sales of those operating on gasoline amounted to 37.5 percent, and those operating on diesel 14.5 percent.

At the level of manufacturers, the German "Volkswagen" was the strongest performer, with an increase in sales of 35 percent.

The loss of 15 Tunisian immigrants after their boat sank

Fifteen migrants of Tunisian origin went missing and four others were rescued after a boat sank off the eastern coast of the country, the coast guard said in a statement on Wednesday.

The testimonies of the survivors stated that all those on board were Tunisians who set off "from the coast of Kerkennah Island (east) with 15 other people on the night of April 17, when their boat was exposed to water leakage."

The four survivors, who were swimming, were found and rescued by a sailor on Tuesday about 21 nautical miles (about 34 km) from the area's fishing port, according to the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard sent a helicopter to search for the missing.

The participants in the illegal immigration process of Tunisian nationality live in marginalized interior governorates that record the weakest development rates and the highest youth unemployment rates in the country, such as Sidi Bouzid (center), Kasserine (west) and Kairouan (center).

And with the improvement of weather conditions, there has been an increase in recent times the frequency of attempts to cross the Mediterranean Sea by migrants hoping to reach the nearby Italian coasts.

For its part, the Tunisian National Guard announced earlier that it had rescued or intercepted "14,406 people, including 13,138 of them from sub-Saharan Africa, and the rest are Tunisians," during the first three months of the year.

This number is nearly five times what was counted during the same period in 2022, and according to the Italian Ministry of the Interior, more than 14,000 immigrants have arrived in Italy since the beginning of the year, compared to more than 5,300 during the same period last year, and 4,300 in 2021.

Controversy over a fake Drake and The Weeknd song generated by artificial intelligence

A fake song by Canadian singers Drake and The Weeknd has garnered millions of streams online since its release on Friday, prompting Universal Music to request its removal, and raising the issue of intellectual property in light of the development of artificial intelligence technologies.

The song “Heart on my sleeve”, which was initially published on TikTok and garnered more than 15 million views, was removed from the list provided by the music streaming platforms “Spotify” and “Apple Music”, at the request of “Universal”. Music Group" which represents Canadian singers, which cited copyright infringement.

"I used AI to create Drake's song with The Weeknd," wrote an anonymous person who called himself Ghostwriter977 in a video clip of a person disguised in a white hood and wearing sunglasses.

The original video has since been removed from social networks, but many netizens still post it across various platforms.

"This is only the beginning," Ghost Writer 977 wrote on his TikTok account, while new videos including the song are repeatedly posted.

The song, which mixes hip-hop and rap, reproduces the voices of the two artists by simulating a dialogue between them about the actress Selena Gomez, with whom the singer The Weeknd recently had a short relationship.

And Universal Music Group considered, in a statement to Agence France-Presse, that this issue “raises the question about the side on which it wants all stakeholders in the music system to be: the side of artists, fans, and human creative expression, or the side of deep forgery, fraud, and depriving artists of financial allowances.”

Last March, the company sent emails to broadcasting platforms, including “Spotify” and “Apple”, asking them to prevent artificial intelligence services from using copyrighted melodies and lyrics from artists’ songs, according to the “Financial Times” newspaper, which reviewed the information. This correspondence.

The use of artificial intelligence in music is sparking debate in the music community, as some denounce the legal violations involved, while others praise the capabilities of technology in this field.

In one of his recent performances, French DJ David Guetta used artificial intelligence to generate the voice of rapper Eminem. Gita did not put this song on the market, explaining to the BBC that he wanted to "open the door for discussion to raise awareness."

The Washington Post: The United States eavesdropped on the Secretary-General of the United Nations

The United States has eavesdropped on the conversations of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and other UN officials, according to a report by The Washington Post, citing leaked classified intelligence documents obtained by the newspaper.

Guterres expressed to United Nations officials and world leaders his "outrage" at being denied the opportunity to visit Ethiopia's war-torn region of Tigray, The Washington Post reported Monday, citing four documents, two of which have not been previously reported. .

Guterres, according to one of the documents dated February 17 and seen by the newspaper, wanted to confront Ethiopia's representative to the United Nations, Taye Atski Selassie Amde, after the country's foreign minister, Demiki Mekonnen, sent a letter to Guterres rejecting his planned visit to Tigray amid peace negotiations.

Another document obtained by the newspaper revealed that Guterres was "not happy" about having to travel to Kiev to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in early March. While the document did not provide a reason for the secretary-general's unwillingness, the newspaper quoted a UN diplomat as saying that weeks of tiring international travel on commercial flights was the reason.

The hundreds of pages of classified documents that led to the arrest of a US Air National Guard member for allegedly disclosing classified national defense information without authorization prompted the US to speed up a damage assessment and restrict access to classified information to some employees of the Department of Defense.

Other documents published by US media recently showed that the United States also spied on allies such as South Korea, Israel and Ukraine.

Asked by Xinhua at an event at the Brookings Institution on Monday to comment on allegations of US espionage efforts and on how Washington can assuage concerns expressed by its allies, Democratic House Representative Abigail Spanberger declined to comment on "anything that has been leaked." specifically.”

Fox News agrees to pay $787.5 million in defamation lawsuit

Fox News reached a settlement Tuesday to pay $787.5 million to Dominion , the US voting machine maker it accuses of defamation, in a move that averted the network from a trial that would have been a test of the scope of freedom of expression granted to media in the United States.

Judge Eric Davis announced the settlement at the last minute, after the 12 jury members were selected and while the court was completing preparations to begin arguments in the case.

Dominion Voting Systems sued Fox News for $1.6 billion in March 2021, accusing the channel of promoting claims by Donald Trump that its machines were used to falsify the results of the 2020 presidential election, which he lost. In front of Joe Biden.

The company insists that "Fox News" broadcast the false information, although it is aware that it is not true.

"The parties have resolved their case," the judge told the Delaware Supreme Court, telling the jurors they could walk away.

Later, the defense attorney for "Dominion" announced that "Fox News" agreed to pay the company about $ 790 million as part of a settlement of the case.

"The settlement of $787.5 million that was reached today represents an acquittal and accountability," lawyer Justin Nelson said in a press conference in front of the court's headquarters.

Also, a spokesperson for the network issued a statement expressing its satisfaction with the settlement reached.

The statement acknowledged the court's finding that some of the claims about Dominion were "false," noting that the dispute was resolved "amicably."

Dominion says that the network began to support Trump's conspiracy theory, given that it lost its audience after it became the first television channel to decide the election result in the state of Arizona (southwest) in favor of Biden, which was practically an expectation that the Democratic candidate would win the presidency.

Fox News denies the defamation charge. And she stresses that all she did was convey Trump's accusations, not support them, noting that they are protected by the rights of freedom of expression guaranteed in the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

In pretrial hearings, Delaware Judge Eric Davis found there was no doubt that Fox had aired false statements about Dominion.

In order to win, Dominion had to prove that Fox News had indeed acted in bad faith, which is difficult to achieve and has been a cornerstone of US media law since 1964.

Fox News is staffed by a number of traditional journalists, but it dedicates the bulk of its airtime to commentators, including during some of its most-watched programs hosted by prominent conservative figures.

The Dominion lawsuit has already been an embarrassment to Fox, while Murdoch's Wall Street Journal reported that the channel is looking for ways to settle the case.

By reaching a settlement, Murdoch, 92, and well-known presenters such as Tucker Carlson managed to avoid testifying in court.

Murdoch acknowledged in an affidavit about the case that some presenters "endorsed" on air the unsubstantiated accusation that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.

But he denied that the entire network promoted the allegations, according to documents filed by Dominion in court in February.

Dominion attorneys also published a set of internal conversations on Fox News in which some commentators expressed dislike of Trump despite praising him on air.

"I hate him so much," said Carlson, speaking of the former president after losing the election.

Fox News, in turn, accused Dominion of "picking and taking statements out of context."

Two thieves rob a gold store on the sidelines of protests against the pension system in France

French police are searching for two thieves who stole 25,000 euros in coins and bullion from a gold store during a protest against pension reforms, a local prosecutor announced.

On Saturday, French President Emmanuel Macron signed his unpopular reform law to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64, fueling anger across the country.

As protests broke out in Rennes, in western France, later that day, the manager of a gold shop who was downstairs at the time heard a commotion upstairs, according to city prosecutor Philippe Astruc.

"As the protesters were walking outside, I noticed that three of the shop's windows were broken," said Astruc.

He added that when she opened the door to inspect the damage, "two people stormed the store, and the first snatched coins and gold bars, while the second quickly grabbed her by her forearms."

The thieves left the place after looting valuables worth about 25,000 euros ($27,000).

Agence France-Presse correspondents said that more than a thousand people participated in the protests that took place on Saturday in the city of Rennes, which included skirmishes between demonstrators and the police.

The night before, after the country's constitutional court approved the reform after three months of largely peaceful protests against it, several storefronts in the city were damaged.

The socialist mayor of Rennes, Nathalie Abery, told AFP the city center had been "looted" in the clashes.

Why don't the Palestinians catch up with the Arab reconciliations?!

The Palestinian issue is one of the most important Arab and Islamic issues that unites the nation around it, because Palestine is an integral part of the Arab and Islamic nation. In light of the devastating Palestinian division, which is on its way to secession, if the Palestinian leaders do not rectify the division and conflict they are in, which affects and affects the Palestinian cause and exposes it to unimaginable dangers.

Despite the dangers surrounding the Palestinian cause from all sides, and instead of uniting the Palestinian national ranks to face these dangers and move the cause towards safety, the internal disputes are constantly increasing and there is a fear that these disputes will turn into conflicts and take precedence over the main conflict with the occupation and its scourges. It is rising day by day.

Which is more important: factional, personal, and partisan interests, or the supreme national interest, which is the basis on which everyone must set aside their contradictions and differences with the other, and turn towards the external conflict represented by the occupying state and its crimes against our people, our land, our sanctities, and our national institutions, of which nothing remains in Jerusalem, which we glorify. That it is the capital of the independent and aspired Palestinian state, which the occupation works day and night to Judaize and capture it after it annexed it and considered it the capital of its nascent state.

Instead of the Palestinian side taking lessons from what is happening on the Arab and Islamic arena in terms of reconciliations and restoring relations on clear bases, based on common interests and non-interference in the internal affairs of any country, and working to find an Arab pole that has weight in the world, especially since the Arab world has potential. It is not available in many countries and states of the world, as it is rich in everything and its economic unity makes it one of the strongest economies in the world if it is unified after these reconciliations that are in full swing.

Will the Palestinians remain the exceptional case on the Arab level? Where the division will remain and the failure to rebuild the Palestinian internal house on the basis that Palestine and its cause is superior to all internal differences and contradictions.

The Palestinian side must join the ranks of Arab reconciliations and work to reform its internal home before it is too late and before everyone regrets wasting the time and opportunity now available for this reconciliation. Calculating the Palestinian cause, which is the basis and centrality.

Dad, did you escape from prison?

During the reception of the released prisoner from the occupation prisons, Ghassan Zawahra, in Dheisheh camp, who spent more than 12 years in various periods, most of which were administrative detentions, his little daughter Mina, 4 years old, was sitting on his lap and close to him, never leaving him as if she did not want anyone to approach him. From her father, the child encircles her father, talks with him, and tells him stories he had not witnessed during his absence from the house. He belongs to her alone. She embraces him time after time, kisses him, holds his hands, and strokes his face and hair. She prevents him from standing, moving, or even shaking hands with well-wishers. The child occupied Mina is her father completely, as if she fears that if he moves, he will not return to her again.

Little Mina grew up in a house surrounded hundreds of times by the occupation soldiers. She wakes up in the morning and does not find her father in the house, and discovers that the brutal soldiers vandalized, destroyed and looted the contents of the house. They shouted, threatened and took her father shackled with iron to the unknown. The innocent girl wakes up and finds that her toys and beds have been destroyed. Her brothers and their safes were unearthed, and the belongings and belongings of the house were scattered, as if a bomb exploded in her innocent dream.

The child Mina began to realize that the refugee, as described by Mahmoud Darwish, is not to be a child from now on, to grow up quickly, to comprehend the meanings of the many pictures hanging on the walls, pictures of martyrs, headed by her martyr uncle Moataz. Blood all around, sounds of bullets and night raids in Dheisheh camp. Mina does not sleep. She hears the adults talking about a martyr who fell tonight and about the wounded and chased. She looks around her looking for her father and her brothers. Little Mina hides in her mother's bosom, overwhelmed with terror and questions.

The beautiful Mina hates the night, the night is heavy, the night of the camp is crowded with anticipation and the raids that have become almost daily, the whispers of the young men indicate the intrusions of the Israeli soldiers and death squads, the movements of the young men indicate that they are preparing for this night to watch and guard the entrances and the confrontation, they spread in the alleys of the camp, in its alleys and on the roofs of the houses. Did God give birth to us on the battlefield? Mina said as she watched a mass funeral passing from the courtyard of the house to the cemetery, where does the martyr go, father? Mina asks and looks at where her father pointed to the sky, but why don't the inhabitants of the sky return, father? Eid al-Fitr is approaching and my uncle, the martyr Moataz, is supposed to come back to buy me many gifts, dresses and sweets.

The little girl Mina is still embracing her father, clinging to him, preventing him from getting up, and he has to hear her because he has been away for a long time. Many stories took place in her life: her mother's stupor and constant sadness, visits to prisons since early dawn, Mina wants to cry and explain to her father the constant fear that inhabits her, trembling and trembling. When the door knocks at night or the soldiers suddenly blow it up, Mina closes the windows and buries her head under the covers. She wants to tell her father about the secret of the black nightmares that haunt her, about the colorful butterflies escaping from her notebooks. Santa Claus did not come to her this year, as people spent all their days in mourning. Convoys of martyrs everywhere in Palestine, no one laughs or smiles, my father, everyone is in pain, no one plays or has fun or lights a tree. I am alone, my father, so do not leave me again.

The child Mina receives well-wishers with her father after he spent two years in administrative detention, and almost prevents him from answering the questions of his friends and loved ones. Mina is the only loud voice in the reception hall, telling people: This is my father for me alone, I have waited for him for a long time, all the time is mine, he has been absent a lot And it's time for me to ask him about the next life. It's time for him to play with me and show me the sea behind the colonies. To sing to me and tell the wordless stories about chains, dungeons, ghosts, torture and the voices of monsters in the cellars of interrogation. Leave my father to me this evening. I need the warm peace in his hands. To a green bird and a rain cloud, I need it, but I am still afraid. Inside me, an echo echoes: my mother's tears, the door, tables, curtains, books, pens, paintings, and withered mint seedlings. Everyone is afraid. I do not walk in the street, as there is a speeding military car. A gun, I'm afraid I'm not in the garden, nor am I at home, my father is back, let the waiting be broken, time moves and silence dies.

The child Mina receives her father's ship, which finally docked. The ship resisted the flood and did not sink in the heavy depths of the prison. The ship docks in its port, in the lap of the little girl. A solid ship that is not made of wood, but of flesh, bone and stubborn will. It crossed all the seas and oceans, but it did not get lost or lost. Knowing submissiveness and surrender, it is the ship of return from the claws of the occupation, the ship of love that spreads across the face of Mina, the love that the occupiers do not know, love is the great human force that seals its mark on the beginning and the end of a people who love life as much as they can.

Mina did not believe that her father had returned from prison, his continuous absence had become routine, administrative detention had become a sweeping rule affecting all groups of the Palestinian people, her intuition had trained her to understand the equation, he would not return after six months, they would renew his detention time after time, he would not return according to Israel's war laws And racism, his secret file says that he still poses a threat to the State of Israel. The judges of the military court fear that if Ghassan Zawahra is released, he will raise his little daughter to be patient so that hope does not tire. Therefore, the military court approved the extension of administrative detention indefinitely, and they thought that In prison, he will lose the ability to taste the taste of air, and his longing and memories will freeze, so he will not write to his daughter Mina about freedom, return, and the longing for space.

Mina began to understand the reasons for the escalation of administrative detention, which exceeded a thousand prisoners this year. The prisoners will not return to their families. They travel through the night of the prisons until their hearts and memories become rotten and corrupted. They forget their plight and their previous lives. The occupation state wants to keep the life of the one-year-old Mina incomplete. After a year, she calls out to him, Father, be faithful, Father, I miss you, I am afraid.

Administrative detention is a form of psychological and social torture. Ask the child Mina. Ask the bereaved families in the military courtrooms. No one is released from the court. The judges approve all orders and decisions of administrative detention. The life of the Palestinian people is scattered, life becomes faltering waiting stations, everything becomes postponed: appointments, occasions, visits, desires, education and travel, souls are filled with amazement, confusion and boredom, meanings evaporate, shocks multiply and pain overflows, who plows the hakoura, who plants trees, who brings the gas canister, who He celebrates Mina's birthday, lights candles for her, buys her the best gift, and takes her to school in the morning.

Administrative detention is a looting of ages, and it began since the era of British colonialism and its provisions were derived from the Nazi laws, but how does the child Mina understand all that? It is the permanent departure of souls and times. The prisoner becomes a mere painting, an image, or fleeting shadows. Who shakes the image and gives it life and identity?

The intimate meeting between the little girl Mina and her father, who was released from prison, drew everyone's attention. The men's tears flowed as they watched the little Farah flutter around her father. It is a far-reaching human and political joy. This little girl says: There is nothing more precious, richer, or holier than freedom. Mina hurts us all because she Attention is drawn to the thousands of children deprived of their parents, sitting under the moonless nights, sleeping on a desperate tear. It is a moment of freedom and liberation from chains and the darkness of darkness, a moment that is enough for the child Mina to live her whole life at once.

In the reception hall of the prisoner Ghassan Zawahra in the Dheisheh camp, I heard the child Mina asking her father: Did you escape from prison, Dad? No one returns from administrative detention, and if he does, he will soon be arrested again. The astonished child did not believe that her father was at home. Perhaps he dug a tunnel and escaped. Administrative detention is the permanent enemy that stalks the Palestinian people without mercy. Perhaps her father turned into a shadow overlooking the night. The camp out of nowhere, perhaps it is a dream of her dreams and disturbed obsessions, Mina encircling her father with her body, pressing his hands, smelling his breath and smell and looking at his face and eyes, Mina wants to make sure that he is with her, she looks around as if she is afraid that the soldiers will kidnap him and put him in those unjust prisons, Mina She sleeps in her father's lap, saying: This is my father, give me a moment to feel that my childhood is complete.

The unity of the suffering of Muslims and Christians

As it did with the seclusion stationed in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the days of the blessed month of Ramadan, the colony’s tools and security services attacked the Christian arrivals on Saturday to perform their religious rituals with the celebrations of the Day of Resurrection and the glorious Easter.

However, despite the cruelty practiced against our Christian brothers, as it has already done time and time again with Muslims, it undoubtedly indicated a very important required content, reflecting the reality of the situation and the deep aspirations for the cohesion and unity of the Palestinian people with their pluralism and components.

The colony’s apparatus has shown that it deals with the Palestinian Arab people as one unit, as Palestinian Arabs, Muslims, Christians, and Druze, who stand united in the face of the arbitrary and racist policies of the occupying colony. Palestine, what you do with the pioneers of Al-Aqsa, you do with the pioneers of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and what you do with the people of the Negev in demolishing their homes in rejection of housing and expansion, you do with the people of Sheikh Jarrah and the rest of the residents of Jerusalem.

The vigilance of the Palestinians is required and necessary, in the face of the colony, and the more time goes on, the more and more the truth of this aggressive expansionist project that is unjustly and arbitrarily revealed on the Palestinians’ land and homeland, and thus compels them without hesitation to be in the national, national, religious and humanitarian trench colliding with the occupation’s programs and its subjugating settlement tools.

Sami Abu Shehadeh, head of the National Democratic Gathering Party in the 48 regions, called with the rest of the leaders of the Palestinian Arab community in the regions of Galilee, Carmel, the Triangle, the Negev, and the mixed coastal cities. Christians, in these virtuous and holy days, so that Jerusalem remains adorned and filled with its people and people from all the villages and cities of Palestine, and this is the case for the Higher Follow-up Committee for the Palestinian Arab Society as the leadership of the daily struggle in the face of racism, discrimination and occupation.

The colony's apparatus is inciting against the national leader, Muhammad Baraka, the elected head of the Follow-up Committee, due to his personal solidity, his strict, sincere and loyal commitment to work standards and the national interest that reflect the positions of his people, and the positions of the three combined parties constituting the Follow-up Committee, namely: 1- Political parties, 2- Mayors, 3 Parliament representatives, who form the base of action and its political leadership for their people in the 48 regions.

The response of a quarter of a million worshipers to perform the prayer on the orphan Friday and 280,000 Laylat al-Qadr in Al-Aqsa Mosque is a Palestinian referendum before the world in preserving Jerusalem as a Palestinian city and Al-Aqsa as a sacred mosque for Muslims, and a religious and national struggle position in rejecting the occupation. Will the world respond to the call and aspirations of the Palestinians??.

Crucified on the wall of pain in defense of freedom

On the day of the Palestinian prisoner, there are still more than 4,600 prisoners who suffer from pain, hunger and suffering, including more than 600 prisoners who suffer from various chronic diseases, as a result of the experiences of the colonizers’ clinics, who revealed more than once that the prisoners are one of the tools for laboratory examinations, medicines and industries in the occupation biotechnology sector, which The colonial state is interested in it, and this sector includes many companies distributed in various fields that the colonial colonial state focuses on to ensure its superiority and technical progress, such as vital drug compounds. About 21% of the occupation companies work in it, about 14% work in the field of antibodies, immunotherapy and vaccines, and 15% in the field of Tissue engineering, cell therapy, and prisoners are part of the cells of the historical test of these colonial products, pharmaceutical products, and other technologies. The increasing percentage of prisoners suffering from various diseases, such as tumors and cancers, is nothing but the best embodiment of the results of these programmed operations that are supervised by the specialized Zionist institutions of the enemy.

There are also experiments that take place in the field of security surveillance, siege, eavesdropping and filming, especially in the Gilboa prison experience after Operation Freedom Tunnel and the daring escape that destroyed the so-called the most guarded safe prison in the Zionist terrorist state.
Historically, the prisoners are subjected, through a series of different levels, to an intellectual, psychological, cultural, health and physical war, as the pace of this Zionist attack has increased recently at the hands of the criminal Ben Gfir, who seeks and will continue to seek to turn the wheel of history back and return the reality of the captive movement to before the 1967 setback. Through this policy, the worst types of fascism, punishments, and terrorism against Palestinian prisoners turn prisons into bastilles of repression, discipline, physical and psychological terror, a killing arena of various forms, and deprivation of all human, health, religious, social, psychological, legal, and educational rights. And to retreat at the gates of the holy month of Ramadan for fear of an explosion of the security situation in the occupied territories, where the Palestinian prisoners had decided to embark on an open hunger strike movement under the title of the battle of freedom or martyrdom.

The squares of Zionist prisons confirm, on the Palestinian Prisoner’s Day, the reality of this terrorist enemy, its racism, and its inhuman, colonial essence, which refuses to obey any humanitarian, moral, or international law, and thwarts all opportunities for dialogue, stability, and peace.
And the free people of the world, the institutions of international law, and all the sons of the Arab nation must take real and collective action to do justice to the Palestinian prisoners and reveal the extent of the crimes, the policies of slow killing, and the colonial violence to which they are subjected inside the Zionist prisons.

The will of the prisoners defies all Zionist crime because it is the will of the revolution, freedom and humanity. We struggle, sacrifice, suffer and starve in defense of the banner of freedom baptized with blood and wounds. Our heads will not bow or bow to all these aggressive policies. We will remain the revolutionaries of Palestine, the guards of hope, the candles of sacrifice, the lanterns of freedom, the sword of the free, and the guns of the revolution that do not compromise on the ground. sanctities and supreme national goals.

All our days inside prisons are days of struggle, steadfastness, heroism, revolution, death cells, and Zionist terrorism always breaking on the rock of our steadfastness, and with us all the free people of the world and the masses of our Arab nation.

refugee president

President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, hosted a Ramadan iftar, to which he invited a large group of segments of the Palestinian political and civil society, in addition to a number of ambassadors, academics and media professionals. After Iftar, he delivered a speech embracing the right of return, and his title was adherence to the national constants.

The speech was filled with a sense of refuge and adherence to national constants, foremost of which is the right of return of Palestinian refugees to their homes from which they were expelled as a result of the genocide to which the Palestinian people were subjected in the Nakba War. In most parts of the speech, the president's call for the implementation of Partition Resolutions No. 181 and Return Resolution No. 194 was repeated, and he repeated in his hadith more than 50 times vocabulary related to asylum, return, displacement and the Nakba. Not only that, but he shifted responsibility for the catastrophe to the western countries that strengthened the concept of the national home for the Jews in Palestine. And it forced the Jews in the world to establish this homeland in Palestine in order to get rid of their problems first, and in order to rely on them to preserve their colonial interests in the region second. The important addition in the President's speech is the analysis of the historical evidence indicating that the Jewish majority is not convinced of establishing a national home for them in Palestine and prefers to stay in Western countries. This is entirely consistent with what Ilan Pappe went to in writing The Ethnic Cleansing of the Palestinians, that Zionism is the movement of the Jewish minority.

The President referred to the importance of commemorating the 77th anniversary of the Nakba in various parts of the world, including the corridors of the United Nations, to which he will go this year himself in order to commemorate the anniversary and to demand the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities towards the Palestinian people, and on top of these responsibilities is the recognition of an independent Palestinian state and the return of Palestinian refugees. to their homes.
The President clearly indicated that historical Palestine is the national and historical homeland of the Palestinian people, that it is the homeland of the Canaanite Arab Palestinians, and that the Zionists are a group of gangs that usurped the Palestinian land and displaced people.

Asylum in the president's speech is not only a political stance, but rather a personal stance that the president, his family and the people of his city, Safed, went through while they were fleeing their city in the 1948 war as a result of the genocide carried out by the Zionist gangs. That is why we sense the extent of suffering, sadness, and bitterness in his words when he talks about the Palestinian villages and cities that were destroyed in the Nakba, and their number exceeded 530 villages and cities. In fact, the President embodied in his speech the meaning and bitterness of asylum, and the constants of the Palestinian refugee who adheres to his right to return and compensation. Anyone who heard his speech realizes the extent of this bitterness in his words when he talks about a people who were displaced from their land before the eyes of the world. He speaks with the language of the refugee and with his unceasing self in the struggle for his rights. In his speech, the President assured everyone that he would never give up the right of return for the Palestinian refugees, because it is a sacred right and one of the Palestinian constants, such as the state and Jerusalem. In fact, these positions, and this historical memory replete with speech, are not surprising when the president is a refugee. At that time, the key to return must be in his heart, approach, and knowledge.

The Lebanese Council of Ministers approves salary increases, coinciding with the protests

The Lebanese Cabinet approved today (Tuesday) increases in the salaries of workers in the public and private sectors, the military and pensioners, coinciding with protests against low wages.

Today, the Lebanese Council of Ministers held a session chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, in conjunction with demand movements and protests in the vicinity of the Prime Minister's headquarters in downtown Beirut.

Lebanese Information Minister Ziad Makari said, at the end of the session, that the cabinet decided for the public sector "temporary compensation to be paid as of the end of May," noting that four times the salary for a worker in the public sector was approved, provided that the compensation is not less than 8 million pounds ($82). USA) per month.

The Council of Ministers agreed to amend the temporary transportation allowance for the public sector, so that it becomes 450,000 pounds per day ($5).

The council also approved a compensation of 3 times the basic salary received by the military corps, provided that this compensation is not less than 7 million pounds per month ($72), in addition to 3 times the pension for retirees in all corps who benefit from a pension.

The Council of Ministers stated that this temporary compensation is of an exceptional nature.

Concerning the private sector, the Cabinet approved giving all employees and workers subject to the Labor Law an increase in the cost of living by 4,500,000 pounds ($46), and it also approved doubling the minimum wage to 9 million pounds ($92).

The council determined the value of the daily transportation allowance that the employer must pay to the employee for each day of actual attendance at the work center at 250,000 pounds (two and a half dollars).

These measures coincided with demand movements and protests in the vicinity of the Prime Minister's headquarters in downtown Beirut.

During the cabinet meeting, Mikati touched on the protest movements, saying that "the demands raised are mostly just, and we are working to resolve them and approve them according to the capabilities available in the treasury."

He expressed understanding for "the cries of the demonstrators, and we assure that we will spare no effort to follow them up."

The official Lebanese National News Agency stated that the sit-ins included confrontations between the sit-down military retirees and retirees of public administrations, in protest against the low value of their salaries in light of the collapse of the national currency.

Protesters tried to cut barbed wire in the vicinity of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, while the riot police fired tear gas to disperse them and remove them from the entrances to the headquarters, which caused injuries among the protesters and suffocation cases that required the civil defense personnel to provide first aid on the field.

Since the end of 2009, Lebanon has been witnessing a severe financial and economic crisis, which the World Bank classified as one of the worst crises in the world since the mid-nineteenth century.

Activists block the entrances to the Israeli consulate in California with iron chains

Supporters of the Palestinian right in the United States closed the entrances to the Israeli consulate in San Francisco , California, USA, with iron chains.

Activists demonstrated today in front of the consulate, and tied themselves with chains at its entrances, in protest against Israel receiving about four billion dollars in aid taken from American taxpayers' money.

Participants from supporters of the American Green Party in New York State, during a protest, distributed posters to passers-by revealing the loss of American citizens from sums of money deducted from taxpayers' money, given to Israel, and the amount of interest that could have been used in projects in the United States.

According to one of the posters, this amount is sufficient to provide health insurance for more than one million and three hundred thousand American children or to house 450 thousand American families in homes for people with limited income.
