The unity of the suffering of Muslims and Christians
As it did with the seclusion stationed in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the days of the blessed month of Ramadan, the colony’s tools and security services attacked the Christian arrivals on Saturday to perform their religious rituals with the celebrations of the Day of Resurrection and the glorious Easter.
However, despite the cruelty practiced against our Christian brothers, as it has already done time and time again with Muslims, it undoubtedly indicated a very important required content, reflecting the reality of the situation and the deep aspirations for the cohesion and unity of the Palestinian people with their pluralism and components.
The colony’s apparatus has shown that it deals with the Palestinian Arab people as one unit, as Palestinian Arabs, Muslims, Christians, and Druze, who stand united in the face of the arbitrary and racist policies of the occupying colony. Palestine, what you do with the pioneers of Al-Aqsa, you do with the pioneers of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and what you do with the people of the Negev in demolishing their homes in rejection of housing and expansion, you do with the people of Sheikh Jarrah and the rest of the residents of Jerusalem.
The vigilance of the Palestinians is required and necessary, in the face of the colony, and the more time goes on, the more and more the truth of this aggressive expansionist project that is unjustly and arbitrarily revealed on the Palestinians’ land and homeland, and thus compels them without hesitation to be in the national, national, religious and humanitarian trench colliding with the occupation’s programs and its subjugating settlement tools.
Sami Abu Shehadeh, head of the National Democratic Gathering Party in the 48 regions, called with the rest of the leaders of the Palestinian Arab community in the regions of Galilee, Carmel, the Triangle, the Negev, and the mixed coastal cities. Christians, in these virtuous and holy days, so that Jerusalem remains adorned and filled with its people and people from all the villages and cities of Palestine, and this is the case for the Higher Follow-up Committee for the Palestinian Arab Society as the leadership of the daily struggle in the face of racism, discrimination and occupation.
The colony's apparatus is inciting against the national leader, Muhammad Baraka, the elected head of the Follow-up Committee, due to his personal solidity, his strict, sincere and loyal commitment to work standards and the national interest that reflect the positions of his people, and the positions of the three combined parties constituting the Follow-up Committee, namely: 1- Political parties, 2- Mayors, 3 Parliament representatives, who form the base of action and its political leadership for their people in the 48 regions.
The response of a quarter of a million worshipers to perform the prayer on the orphan Friday and 280,000 Laylat al-Qadr in Al-Aqsa Mosque is a Palestinian referendum before the world in preserving Jerusalem as a Palestinian city and Al-Aqsa as a sacred mosque for Muslims, and a religious and national struggle position in rejecting the occupation. Will the world respond to the call and aspirations of the Palestinians??.
