Haniyeh announces the launch of the third phase of infrastructure development projects in sports facilities


Gaza - "Jerusalem" dot com - Ahmed Al-Masharawi - Abdul Salam Haniyeh , Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, announced the launch of the third phase of infrastructure development projects in sports facilities, as part of the support programs provided by the Council to the Strip, which aims to rehabilitate the eastern facade of the Palestine Stadium. And its restoration, as well as the northern facade, and the wedding hall in the services clubs of Deir Al-Balah, Khan Yunis, and the Palestinian Al-Ahly Club. The development projects also included the hall of a group club in Rafah.


Haniyeh praised the clubs that implemented the summer camps 2022, and thanked the efforts of the Supreme Committee for the Camps, which oversaw the success of the work and the provision of all needs, explaining that this stage will be allocated to youth organizations and specialized camps. This came during the council’s celebration of the conclusion of the second phase of the camps, which targeted 3,000 children. And implemented by clubs in the governorates of Gaza.


Children from the camps participated in the parade line at the Palestine Sports Stadium in the ceremony, which included competitions, poetry, gymnastics, circus, and folk arts, amid the interaction of children.


In addition, Haniyeh inaugurated the Al-Jawad Equestrian Club camp on the seashore, while he participated in the conclusion of the Dolphin Club camp dedicated to swimming for children on the autism spectrum, which was held over the past week in the Friendship Club swimming pool. Haniyeh praised the distinction of the camp and the interaction of children, indicating that the second stage One of the camps will complete the image of excellence launched by the Supreme Council.
