The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the international positions that denounced, condemned the racist incitement statements made by the extremist minister, Itamar Ben Gvir.
In a statement today, Friday, the Foreign Ministry considered that this is a step in the right direction, but it is not sufficient, especially since these statements express absolute hatred towards the Palestinian.
And it called for real American and international pressure on Netanyahu to dismiss Ben Gvir and arrest him as a punishment, especially since settler terrorism has escalated in an unprecedented way against Palestinian citizens, because they feel protected, supported and backed by the likes of Ben Gvir and Smotrich.
The Foreign Ministry held the Israeli government and its Prime Minister, Netanyahu, directly and fully responsible for repeating these positions and statements.
