Palestinians gathered in the occupied West Bank town of Silwad to lay to rest 17-year-old Ramzi Fathi Hamed, who died on Monday from wounds sustained by live Israeli gunfire.
The Palestinian Health Ministry's announcement did not clarify whether he was shot by the military or Israeli settlers, while locals – including SIlwad's mayor Raed Hamed – blamed a settler from Ofra for the shooting last week.
The funeral procession departed from the Ramallah Medical Complex towards the Hamed family home in the town of Silwad, where he was buried in the martyr's cemetery.
