Five Palestinian citizens were martyred today, Saturday, in airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on various areas in the Gaza Strip. The raids targeted a residential home and a civilian gathering, leading to casualties among families, amid continued military escalation that disregards previously concluded ceasefire agreements.
In details of the massacre that occurred in the center of Gaza City, field sources reported the martyrdom of an entire family consisting of two young girls and their parents from the Al-Safadi family. The direct aerial bombardment targeted their home located near the Aviation intersection, leading to the destruction of the house over its inhabitants and turning it into rubble in a few moments.
In another raid carried out by an Israeli drone, citizen Ahmed Munir Al-Zaza, 38 years old, was martyred while walking near Al-Saftawi roundabout north of Gaza City. The same targeting also resulted in a woman sustaining moderate injuries, who was transferred to the hospital for necessary treatment amidst complex medical conditions.
Local sources confirmed that these raids are part of a long series of continuous Israeli violations, as the Government Media Office documented more than three thousand violations since October 10, 2025. These attacks varied between shelling residential apartments, targeting civilian vehicles, and even animal-drawn carts, leading to the martyrdom of more than a thousand Palestinians since the presumed truce began.
On the ground, the occupation army continues its policy of tightening the noose on residents by moving what are known as 'yellow cubes' in the neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah, Al-Shuja'iyya, and Beit Lahia. These military movements aim to reduce the available spaces for residents and push them towards cramped areas lacking the most basic necessities of life, increasing the suffering of displaced people in tents and shelters.
These field developments coincide with a catastrophic deterioration in humanitarian conditions, as the occupation authorities impose strict restrictions on the entry of relief and medical aid. The Strip suffers from a severe shortage of basic foodstuffs and fuel, threatening to halt vital sectors such as water pumping stations and waste and sewage management, which portends an imminent environmental and health disaster.
Residents of the Gaza Strip remain hostage to this continuous escalation despite eight months passing since the official announcement of a ceasefire, as airstrikes continue to claim civilian lives daily. Pressure is increasing on families who have been living in harsh conditions for many months, amidst a decline in basic services and a lack of safety in all areas of the Strip.
