The Central Statistical Organization announced that the price index for construction costs, roads, water and sanitation networks, increased during the month of March.

In a report prepared in this regard, the results of which were published today, Tuesday, "Statistics" indicated that the residential buildings price index in the West Bank recorded an increase of 1.24%, as it rose to 121.21, compared to 119.73 during the previous month.

At the level of the main groups, the prices of the workers costs and wages group increased by 1.92%, the prices of the raw materials group increased by 1.01%, and the prices of the equipment rental group increased by 0.18% during March 2023 compared to the previous month.

The prices of construction costs for non-residential buildings in the West Bank increased by 1.19% during the observed month compared to the previous month, as it rose to 120.26 compared to 118.85 during the month of February.

At the level of the main groups, the prices of the workers’ costs and wages group increased by 1.92%, the prices of the raw materials group increased by 0.96%, and the prices of the equipment rental group increased slightly by 0.04% during March 2023 compared to the previous month.

The construction cost index for skeleton buildings in the West Bank also recorded an increase of 2.06%, as the construction cost index for skeleton buildings rose to 122.30, compared to 119.83 in February (base year 2013 = 100).

At the level of the main groups, the prices of the raw materials group increased by 2.34%, the prices of the labor costs and wages group increased by 1.86%, and the prices of the equipment rental group increased by 0.17% during March 2023 compared to the previous month.

The prices of road construction costs of various types in the West Bank recorded an increase of 0.85% during March, compared to February, as the general index for road costs increased to 116.83, compared to 115.85 during the previous month (base month December 2008 = 100).

At the level of the main groups, the prices of the workers costs and wages group increased by 2.67%, the prices of the equipment rental group increased by 0.71%, and the prices of the raw materials group increased by 0.69%, while the prices of the equipment operation and maintenance costs group decreased by 0.36% during the month. March 2023 compared to the previous month.

The cost of constructing water networks in the West Bank increased by 1.01%, as it rose to 129.92 compared to 128.63 in February (base month January 2010 = 100).

With regard to the prices of water tanks, the index recorded an increase of 2.41%, as the index rose to 124.79 compared to 121.86 during the previous month, and the prices of water networks recorded an increase of 0.42%, as the index rose to 132.25, compared to 131.71 during the previous month. .

The cost of constructing sewage networks in the West Bank increased by 0.29%, as the index rose to 115.58, compared to 115.24 during the previous month.
