Officially.. Approval of the new route of Wadi Al-Nar Street
Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Supreme Planning Council, in its session held today, Thursday, at the Ministry of Local Government in Al-Bireh, approved the new route of Wadi Al-Nar Street , which will pass through the lands of the towns: Al-Sawahra Al-Sharqiya, Dar Salah, and Al-Shawamrah.
The Chairman of the Council, the Minister of Local Government, Majlis Al-Saleh, stressed the importance of the project and its great advantages, pointing out that the new path is more streamlined to facilitate traffic and make it more secure, because there are no steep slopes like the ones currently in place, in addition to saving a lot of effort and time.
The Council also decided, during the session, to put several projects into effect, which are "organizational amendment" projects in each of: Jericho, Ramallah, Turmos Aya, Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiyya, Dura Al-Qara', Asira Al-Shamaliya, Nablus, Beit Iba, Tubas, and Birzeit, in addition to Approval of "detailed structural" projects for the purpose of housing in: Ignissia, Talouza, Cyrenaica, and Salfit, as well as a "detailed structural" project to organize the use into housing in Hajjah, street planning in Kour, and structural planning for industrial organization in Safarin.
The Council approved the organizational expansions in the towns of Anin and Awarta, in addition to its approval of the expansion of the industrial zone on the lands of Deir Sharaf, Beit Lid, and Ramin, and the re-deposit of the structural plan of Anin for the objections.
In the same context, the Council approved requests for facilitation and appeal requests in the communities of: Al-Bireh, Jourat Al-Shamaa, Ariha, Anin, Talluza, Tubas, Marah Rabah, Surda, Beit Jala, and Beit Iba, while it decided to form sub-committees to re-study the requests of: Beit Gala, Beit Sahour, and Ramin.
The council also instructed the secretariat to re-study a request for facilities for an additional building permit in Aboud, and instruct the local committee to study a draft regulatory amendment to organize street paths and re-division in Beitunia.
The Council rejected an organizational amendment project to change the use and organize streets in Ramallah, and a street expansion project in Nablus, while it postponed a request for expansion in Al-Dhahiriya, as well as a request to resume facilities in Aboud.
