Updated: Raids and arrests in the West Bank

  1. This morning, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in the West Bank.


In Tulkarm, occupation forces arrested Wael Al-Aboudi, Hussein Muhammad Fuqaha, Ahmad Muntaser Thalthin, and Abdullah Shaker Abu Khameesh, after raiding their homes and vandalizing their contents.


In Hebron, the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city and arrested 11 freed prisoners, namely: Bilal Abu Armila, Jawad al-Jaabari, Abdel Hadi Abu Khalaf, Darar Abu Manshar, Ali Dofash, Fathi al-Julani, Alaa Asem al-Jaabari, Ayman al-Juneidi, Qidar Ghaith, Abdel Azim al-Natsheh, and Ali Zidan Abu Madi, after raiding and searching their homes and abusing them.


The forces also arrested Youssef Arfaiya after raiding and searching his home.


It's worth noting that the occupation forces have been carrying out a large-scale arrest campaign in the city of Hebron for the fourth consecutive day, most of whom are former prisoners.


In Bethlehem, Israeli occupation forces raided the Husan village council headquarters, west of Bethlehem, last night.


Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the headquarters, examined the surveillance cameras, and then withdrew from the area.


It is noteworthy that the occupation forces had stormed the village earlier, and were stationed in the Al-Matina area, amidst the firing of live bullets, tear gas and sound bombs, which led to the suffocation of a number of citizens, and the injury of a woman, as a result of her falling to the ground.


In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested Ms. Fadhila Yousef Alian after raiding her home in the Umm al-Sharait neighborhood in the city of al-Bireh.


The occupation soldiers also detained six young men after forcing them out of their vehicles at the Atara checkpoint, and abused them before releasing them.


Israeli occupation forces also raided dozens of homes during raids on several neighborhoods in the cities of Ramallah and al-Bireh, the town of Beitunia to the west, the villages of Shaqba, Qarawat Bani Zeid, Nabi Saleh, and Kafr Ein, northwest of Ramallah, the towns of Abwein and Aroura, and the villages of Ajul and Jaljalia, north of Ramallah. An Israeli army force also raided the Qaddoura camp in the city of al-Bireh.


In Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, reported that the occupation forces arrested the young man, Muhammad Jamil Abdul Razek, while he was passing through the Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley.


In Jericho, Israeli occupation forces stormed the Aqabat Jaber and Ein Sultan camps from the northern and southern entrances to Jericho, raiding a number of homes and interrogating their residents. Among the raids was the home of freed prisoner Nassar Abu Dahouk in Aqabat Jaber.
