Rome - (AFP) - Italian Torino announced Friday that its international striker Andrea Belotti, who has reached the end of his contract, will leave the club after a seven-year adventure.

"Dear Andrea, we have taken note of your decision to embark on a new experience. Our paths will separate from today," the Italian club wrote on its website, the day after the expiration of the "Gallo" (rooster) contract.

"We lived together seven seasons, a particularly strong bond in modern football, and we always share the same passion, joys, sufferings, emotions and disappointments," he added, in thanks to the 28-year-old captain.

Belotti arrived in Turin from Palermo in 2015, and scored 113 goals in 251 matches for him in various competitions.

The Italian international (44 games, 12 goals), who won the European Cup with his country, did not announce his future destination.
