Salah: I crowned everything with Liverpool... and I will miss Mane

The Charity Shield Cup remains the title absent from the coffers of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah , and he hopes to crown him tomorrow, Saturday, when he faces Manchester City, accompanied by Liverpool , at King Power Stadium.

Salah previously participated in the Charity Shield in 2019 and 2020 at Wembley Stadium, and lost to Manchester City and Arsenal, respectively, on penalties.

Salah said in statements to the official website of the FA: "I won almost everything with the team, but I didn't notice that until Trent (Alexander-Arnold) came to me after the FA Cup final and said to me: We won almost everything here."

He added, “So I think I crowned everything with Liverpool, collectively and individually, but there is always room to win more, and I always want to win titles for the second, third and fourth time, this is my mentality.”

And he talked about talking about the team’s new striker, Darwin Nunez: “I feel excited and want to play with Nunez. He had a good season and played well against us, home and away (with Benfica in the Champions League last season).”

And he continued: “Sadio (Mane) is gone and I will miss him. He had great seasons with the club, and I wish him the best, and I wish the same for Darwin and that he score many goals for us.”

He concluded, "We are in a good position to fight for everything with the new signings. We want to continue working hard, have a good vision, be positive and compete for all titles again."
