The Israeli killing machine continues without deterrence or consequences
Israel, the occupying power, continues to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip before the eyes of the world. There are more than 470,000 people in the northern Gaza Strip who are at risk of the ongoing massacre, in addition to hundreds of thousands more who are at risk as the Israeli killing machine continues without deterrence or consequences, especially in light of the extremist Israeli government’s attempt to implement what is known as the “Generals’ Plan,” which the occupation forces are working to implement with the aim of completing the forced transfer of the Palestinian civilian population and annexing the area.
The occupying power is depriving the Palestinian population in northern Gaza of food, water, medicine and everything necessary for human life, in addition to systematically targeting hospitals, thus depriving the civilian population of health care, and Israel is forcibly demanding that families move again against their will to southern Gaza, despite there being no safe place to go.
What is happening in the northern Gaza Strip has become beyond description after the exacerbation of human suffering, and the use of starvation and siege is a decline in values. We must act and work on the necessity of providing a safe passage for the entry of humanitarian aid immediately, enabling access to the bodies of the martyrs lying in the streets, and treating the wounded whom medical teams were unable to reach.
All this destruction and brutal, barbaric aggression targeting children and women, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, cannot continue. What is happening in northern Gaza is hell beyond description, as the bombing, massacres, killing of children, assaults on women, and executions of dozens of innocent people continue without mercy.
Keeping silent on these crimes means giving the green light for the continuation of violations, and all active free forces and international organizations are required to stop issuing slogans and move to take a firm position to end the siege, stop the terrorist aggression, and ensure the protection of civilians in accordance with international and humanitarian law.
The Gaza Strip is going through an unprecedented humanitarian crisis and disaster, as the majority of the population, especially children and the elderly, are suffering from famine and diseases as a result of the stifling blockade. Unfortunately, the international community is still unable to take any position despite all the warnings about these criminal plans and appeals to take action to stop this genocide. However, the Security Council is still unable to act in the face of the blatant war crimes and crimes against humanity that Israel is systematically committing, which encourages it to move forward without any regard for international law or human life.
There is a need to put an end to the collective punishment of the Palestinian people in northern Gaza, and to protect them from the genocide being committed by Israel in Gaza and the rest of occupied Palestine, including East Jerusalem, before it is too late, and to emphasize the need for the Security Council to act in accordance with all the powers it enjoys under the United Nations Charter, and to protect civilians and save the international legal system that Israel is deliberately working to destroy.
The UN Security Council is required to immediately take practical steps to implement an immediate ceasefire and ensure compliance by all parties, stop the forced transfer and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, and ensure the provision of immediate, unhindered and broad-based humanitarian assistance through UNRWA and international institutions.
