 He said that the United States is making every possible effort to end the war, free the hostages, and provide the necessary humanitarian relief.


He added: "The three-stage ceasefire proposal that Israel presented to Hamas is the best way to end the violence."


He stressed that this plan provides a systematic approach to cessation of hostilities and begin the process of reconstruction and reconciliation.


Calling for a two-state solution


President Biden affirmed his administration's commitment to achieving the two-state solution, which he believes is the only viable path to achieving lasting peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.


Biden said: “We are working to reach a two-state solution, and I believe it is the only way to achieve lasting peace for Palestinians and Israelis,” stressing the importance of diplomatic efforts in resolving the conflict.
