Today, Saturday, the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, instructed the representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations to request an emergency session of the UN Security Council, to discuss the repercussions of the bloody massacre carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip, in which hundreds of martyrs and wounded were killed.
President Abbas is conducting extensive contacts with the relevant Arab and international parties in order to hold this emergency session of the UN Security Council, in order to determine the role assigned to it in stopping the continuing Israeli aggression against our Palestinian people, and to force the occupying state to adhere to the resolutions of international legitimacy, which call for an immediate ceasefire. immediately.
The President stressed that the international community must intervene urgently to stop the tragedy of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, because the Israeli occupation takes advantage of international silence and American support to continue its crimes that violate all resolutions of international legitimacy and international law.
