West Bank: Israel launches an arrest campaign

At dawn on Wednesday, the Israeli forces launched an arrest campaign in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.


In occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli forces stormed the town of Hizma and marched their military vehicles through its streets, leading to the outbreak of confrontations with young men, during which sound bombs and poisonous gas were fired at them.


It also arrested the father of the martyr, Muhammad Fathi Kanaan, the freed prisoner Fathi Kanaan (60 years old), and the freed prisoner Muhammad Fawzi Al-Khatib (29 years old), after raiding their homes in the town.


While the Israeli forces arrested 5 young men from the Al-Julani family, after raiding and searching their families’ homes, they are: Yahya, Zakaria, Bilal, Nidal, and Nibal.


In Qalqilya, the Israeli forces stormed the city from its eastern entrance, raided a number of its neighborhoods, and arrested the young man, Rami Al-Aqraa, after raiding and searching his house.


In Tubas, the Israeli forces stormed Al-Fara'a camp and sent in military reinforcements, accompanied by two bulldozers, from the Hamra military checkpoint, while infantry forces and snipers were widely deployed around and inside the camp.


The Israeli bulldozers also vandalized and bulldozed the streets and entrances to shops, especially in the camp's main market.


In Bethlehem, the Israeli forces arrested and detained two young men, Ibrahim Khaled Hamamra (26 years old), and Marwan Ahmed Zaoul (23 years old), after raiding their families’ homes and searching them in the village of Husan.
