Today, Monday, the Israeli Army Radio reported that no homemade missiles have been found so far in Jenin, while factories manufacturing and storing explosive devices have been found.
According to the Hebrew Radio, the Israeli army is focusing its operation on accessing the most dangerous militants and stores of weapons and explosives, noting that the operation may continue for several days.
As reported by Walla Al-Abri, a group of Shin Bet officers are participating in the operation in Jenin to provide intelligence information available to them to the military forces.
While the Israeli army spokesman's office published a message regarding Avi Ballut, commander of the West Bank Division, who is currently leading the operation, in which he said that "the current operation is an opportunity to change the operational reality in the entire West Bank."
Ballout added: "This action will weaken the refugee camp and will be a great deterrent," according to him.
