Forest fires broke out in South Korea on Sunday due to dry weather and storms in the spring, Yonhap news agency reported, citing the Korea Forest Service .
According to the Korea Forest Service's real-time forest fire information website, a total of 30 forest fires broke out nationwide at 3:30 p.m. local time (0630 GMT).
Of the total, 15 fires have been put out, as the government issued a special dry weather warning.
There have been no reports of casualties so far.
