The teachers' movement affirmed that if their demands as teachers are met, and as previously agreed upon, it will be announced on the official movement pages, and we will not surrender or return except with our heads held high, announcing the comprehensive strike tomorrow with proof of attendance, then departure.
Al-Hirak said in a statement issued on Wednesday evening, "We were contacted to provide an opportunity for initiatives that are in their final touches, but they do not achieve the minimum level of what the Palestinian teacher deserves, and we did not agree to any of them."
He added that the unity of the teachers and their rallying around their movement will bring down all the conspiracies hatched against them, and will lead them to a resounding victory.
The statement also referred to the threat against teachers in Anata, specifically in Dahiyat al-Salam.
