During the meeting, the Governor of the Monetary Authority reviewed developments in the situation of the Palestinian banking sector and the efforts of the Monetary Authority to maintain its stability and strength, and the strategies being worked on for digital transformation in the banking sector, the development of the financial technology sector, strengthening the infrastructure of payment systems in Palestine, supporting sustainable economic development, and providing financing through "Sustainability Fund" for small, medium and micro enterprises.
The two sides discussed the support provided by the Belgian government to the Palestinian private sector, and ways to enhance the economic relationship between the two countries.
