The occupation army demanded that those in the "Indonesian Hospital" evacuate immediately. Al Jazeera reported that those besieged in the hospital demanded guarantees that the occupation would not attack them while they were leaving.
The besieged people said that among them were women, the elderly, children, people with disabilities, and injured people who were completely unable to move.
In this context, the spokesman for the Civil Defense Authority in the Gaza Strip, Major Mahmoud Basal, said that the Israeli occupation wants to implement the generals’ plan in the northern Gaza Strip.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Basal called on the Israeli occupation to lift its hand from the health system and the civil defense system in the Strip.
On Friday, the Israeli army warned medical staff and patients to evacuate Al-Awda Hospital in the Tel al-Zaatar area of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, and threatened to bomb it in continuation of the genocide it has been committing for about 15 months.
