New York: Demonstrators demand that Maersk sever its relationship with Israel

Hundreds of activists in New York City participated in a demonstration calling on the giant Danish shipping company, Maersk, to sever its relationship with the occupying state, under the slogan (MASK OFF MAERSK).

Activists believe that the company is complicit in the transfer of weapons from the United States to Israel, making it an important link in the arms supply chain, and that targeting the company will directly disrupt the flow of weapons in the supply chain used in the genocide against the Palestinians.

In the same context, activists raised a banner in front of Grand Central Station to draw attention to what Maersk is doing.

Activists and student movements had launched a campaign across the United States to call for the severing of Maersk's relations with the occupying state, during which banners were raised on the main bridges linking many American cities.
