United Nations: More than 100 children in Gaza have died due to malnutrition.

Humanitarian organizations affiliated with the United Nations have called for urgent action after medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced the death of more than 100 children due to malnutrition since the beginning of the war in October 2023. These figures reflect the catastrophic situation that children in the besieged territory are suffering from.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) described on its official website that the death toll among children exceeding one hundred is a "catastrophic milestone that tarnishes the world's reputation and calls for urgent action long overdue." These statements reflect the growing concern over the worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.

The World Food Programme indicated that more than 300,000 children in Gaza are facing severe danger, and more than a third of the population reported not having eaten for consecutive days. The nutritional situation in the territory requires meeting food needs exceeding 62,000 tons per month, while the quantities allowed to be brought in remain far below the minimum.

OCHA added that the United Nations and its partners managed to bring in some food, fuel, and supplies from the Kerem Shalom crossing on Sunday, but the shipments were unloaded before reaching their destination, exacerbating the suffering of the population.

It clarified that Israeli authorities allow the entry of about 150,000 liters of fuel daily, which is far less than what is needed to ensure the continuation of life-saving operations. This severe fuel shortage significantly impacts essential services.

It was reported that more than half of the ambulances in Gaza have stopped working due to a lack of fuel and spare parts, making it more difficult to reach the injured. These conditions require an urgent response from the international community.

The Food and Agriculture Organization also warned that only 1.5 percent of agricultural land in the territory remains viable, indicating a near-total collapse of the local food system. These figures reflect the devastating impact of the siege and aggression on the lives of Palestinians.

Medical sources: 12 dead in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

The airstrikes carried out by the occupying army on the besieged Gaza Strip have continued since dawn today, resulting in the death of 12 Palestinians so far.

Medical sources in Gaza hospitals indicate that the number of dead is likely to increase due to the ongoing intense bombardment in various areas of the strip.

The Israeli airstrikes target Palestinian homes and civilians, raising concerns about the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the area.

These airstrikes come at a time when the residents of Gaza are suffering from a severe shortage of essential resources, including food and medicine, due to the imposed blockade.

Local and international human rights organizations condemn the ongoing aggression against civilians and call for an immediate halt to the attacks on Gaza.

Hospitals in Gaza are recording an increasing number of injured, further straining the already struggling healthcare system in the strip.

Calls from the international community to stop the Israeli aggression continue, but so far no effective steps have been taken to protect civilians.

A blood-stained camera... and a message to a deaf world!

Since the aggression against Gaza in October 2023, Palestinian journalists have been living on the front lines in the literal sense, not merely as witnesses to the massacre, but as military targets in the eyes of the occupying army, which does not hesitate to bomb their homes, offices, cars, and even their tents. This reality has turned the camera into a pursued witness, the microphone into an accusation, and the journalist into a potential martyr, falling on the battlefield before conveying to the world some of what they have seen.
The number of martyrs is not just a figure; each name carries the story of a household that has lost its breadwinner, a world that has lost a witness, and a truth that has been buried under the rubble. According to human rights and international organizations, the number of journalists who have been martyred in this aggression has exceeded 240, a number greater than the total of journalists killed in both World Wars, the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and the war in Ukraine combined. This unprecedented figure in the history of modern conflicts reflects the danger of Gaza as the most perilous environment in the world, with deliberate targeting of journalists and their families, which has also led to the injury of hundreds of them.
The roots of this phenomenon go back to an old approach adopted by the occupation, which is fundamentally based on erasing the Palestinian narrative, not only through media distortion but also through the physical elimination of its transmitters. The killing is not an incidental act due to a "operational error," as the occupation has claimed multiple times, but rather a policy of deterrence and intimidation aimed at neutralizing the camera and breaking its ability to expose crimes. The security discourse promoted by the occupation, primarily accusing journalists of belonging to resistance factions, is merely a facade that provides cover for actions classified under international law as war crimes. Does this justify targeting journalists who have served or are serving in the occupying army?
The more dangerous aspect lies in its impact on the future. When Gaza becomes an isolated media zone due to the systematic killing of journalists, the narrative of the occupation will dominate the scene, and the living documents that defenders of Palestinian rights could use in international courts or in the battle for global public opinion will disappear. This lack of witnesses and images will assist the occupation in reshaping events according to its whims and in a way that serves its narrative.
The war on Palestinian journalism is not new; it is a direct extension of the war on consciousness, and it is no less dangerous than bombing hospitals, schools, and the tents of displaced people, or besieging and starving civilians. The journalist who falls today while carrying a camera will take with them a bridge that connects Gaza to the world, and a thread of truth that allows the world to hear and see the horrors of genocide.
Therefore, targeting journalists goes beyond the Palestinian arena to affect the foundations of journalistic work around the world, providing oppressive regimes with a bad example of the possibility of killing witnesses without accountability. Thus, the response must be commensurate with the crime. We know that there are no effective solutions in light of what is happening, but some may be possible, starting with documenting every crime against journalists to be ready for use in international courts, as well as establishing protection systems for journalists with support from global media institutions, providing them with safe workplaces, and equipping them with advanced protective gear, in addition to launching organized international media campaigns in multiple languages that expose the crimes and raise the cost of the occupation's continued targeting of journalists. These steps are not a luxury; they are essential conditions to ensure the survival of Palestinian journalism and the continued existence of a Palestinian narrative that fights against the occupation's narrative and reveals its falsehood.
In conclusion, when the camera drips blood, the question should not be about why it is there, but about the crime it was trying to document. From here, defending Palestinian journalists is a defense of the right to testify to the crime, of a nation's memory, and of the world's right to see and know. The killing of a journalist is not just the killing of a human being; it is a premeditated execution of the truth itself. When the truth is absent, injustice becomes the uncontested ruler of the situation.

Australia accuses Netanyahu of denying the suffering in Gaza and calls for urgent international action.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu is "in denial" about the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, just a day after announcing that Australia would recognize the State of Palestine. These remarks come at a time when the besieged Gaza Strip is suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis, with more than 100 children reported dead due to malnutrition.

Albanese announced that Australia would recognize the Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly next month, reflecting the increasing international pressure on the occupying state following similar announcements from other countries such as France, Britain, and Canada. He explained that Netanyahu's government's reluctance to listen to its allies contributed to Australia's decision.

In an interview with Australian ABC, Albanese confirmed that Netanyahu reiterated his denial of the humanitarian consequences faced by innocent people in Gaza. These statements come at a time when the United Nations has called for urgent action to address the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the region.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that surpassing the death toll among children beyond 100 is considered "a devastating milestone that shames the world," necessitating urgent action. The World Food Programme also reported that more than 300,000 children in Gaza remain in severe danger.

OCHA clarified that meeting the basic needs for food assistance in Gaza requires more than 62,000 tons per month, but sufficient quantities have not been allowed in to ensure the survival of about two million people. It noted that the shipments that have been allowed in were not enough to meet the increasing needs.

The government media office in Gaza announced that the total aid that entered the strip over 15 days amounted to only 1,334 trucks out of the 9,000 trucks required. It confirmed that most of the trucks entering the strip are subjected to looting and theft amid the security chaos created by the occupying state.

The Palestinian Civil Defense reported that more than half of the ambulances in Gaza have stopped working due to a lack of fuel and spare parts, exacerbating the suffering of the population. The Food and Agriculture Organization warned of the collapse of the local food system in Gaza.

Since March 2, the occupying state has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid from passing through. Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in more than 61,000 martyrs and about 153,000 injured.

9 dead due to the occupation's shelling on Khan Younis and the city of

This morning, Israeli occupation forces committed two massacres in Khan Younis and Gaza City, resulting in the deat of 9 citizens and injuries to others. These attacks come as part of the ongoing aggression launched by the occupation forces against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

Medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported the arrival of the bodies of five martyrs, in addition to a number of injured, due to the targeting of a tent in the Al-Majayda area of Khan Younis. The martyrs are: Maher Abu Latifa, his wife Sana'a Abu Latifa, their son Abdulrahman, as well as Ziad Suleiman Al-Shawaf and Asid Ziad Al-Shawaf.

Medical sources at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City also announced the arrival of the bodies of four other martyrs and a number of injured, as a result of the occupation's airstrikes on the home of the Al-Hosari family near Al-Farouq Mosque in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of the city. This bombing comes amid ongoing escalation by the occupation.

Since the beginning of the aggression, the Israeli attack has resulted in the death of 61,499 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuries to 153,575 others, in a preliminary tally. The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is worsening with the continued presence of victims under the rubble and in the streets.

Rescue and ambulance teams are facing significant difficulties in reaching the victims due to the continuous shelling, which increases the suffering of citizens in the sector. These massacres reflect the extent of the violations committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinian people.

EU: We condemn the killing of 5 journalists from "Al Jazeera" in an Israeli airstrike.

The European Union condemned the killing of five journalists from Al Jazeera in an airstrike carried out by Israeli occupation forces on the city of Gaza, where the journalists were martyred while covering events in front of Al-Shifa Hospital.

Kaia Kallas, the EU's foreign policy chief, expressed her deep concern over the martyrdom of these journalists, highlighting the importance of protecting journalists while they perform their professional duties.

In a statement published on the X platform, Kallas affirmed that the Israeli claims that the journalists were Hamas terrorists require conclusive evidence, stressing the need to respect the rule of law.

Kallas also called on the occupying state to allow more trucks into the Gaza Strip and to better distribute humanitarian aid, given the difficult conditions faced by the residents of the area.

She pointed out that the war in Gaza is becoming more dangerous day by day, and that military solutions are not effective, adding: "If a military solution were possible, the war would have already ended."

Kallas emphasized the EU's priorities in providing humanitarian support, including enabling NGOs to access Gaza, and called for an immediate ceasefire and the release of remaining hostages.

Trump: Israel should determine what to do in Gaza and decide the fate of "Hamas" in the region.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that Israel must decide what to do in Gaza and must make up its mind about allowing "Hamas" to remain in the territory. He emphasized that he does not believe the Palestinian movement will stay there.

During a phone interview with Axios, Trump noted that he did not express direct support for Israel's plans to attack and "occupy" the city of Gaza, but clarified that Hamas would not release the Israeli hostages unless the situation on the ground changes.

The site reported that some senior military leaders in Israel oppose the planned military operation, fearing it could endanger the lives of the Israeli hostages. Trump confirmed that recovering the hostages has always been a difficult task.

Trump pointed out that Hamas will not release the hostages under the current circumstances, and despite widespread international criticism of the Israeli plan due to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, the U.S. president decided not to intervene and leave the decision to Israel.

In a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the two leaders discussed plans to take control of what remains of Hamas strongholds in Gaza, with the aim of ending the war and releasing the hostages.

Netanyahu asked the Israeli army to provide plans for "taking control of the city of Gaza," while Israeli officials indicated that planning for the operation could take several weeks, opening a time window for attempts to reach a ceasefire agreement.

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff discussed with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani the possibility of reaching a comprehensive deal to end the war and release all hostages.

A high-level delegation from Hamas arrived in Cairo to hold talks with Egyptian intelligence officials regarding the possibility of resuming negotiations for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange deal.

Qatari and Egyptian mediators are working on drafting a new proposal based on Witkoff's initiative for a partial ceasefire lasting 60 days, with the aim of transforming it into a comprehensive agreement to end the war.

Israeli-American proposal to end or extend UNIFIL in Lebanon.

The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post reported on Monday that Tel Aviv and Washington have proposed a complete termination of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon (UNIFIL), or a limited extension that includes a withdrawal coordinated with the Lebanese army.

The newspaper quoted an unnamed diplomatic source as saying that Israel and the United States informed members of the United Nations Security Council of their opposition to the automatic renewal of the mission's mandate and their demand for a reassessment of the necessity of the continued presence of that force.

This comes ahead of a scheduled discussion at the Security Council at the end of August regarding the extension of UNIFIL's mandate, where the source clarified that Israel and the United States have proposed two alternatives for the mission.

One alternative includes a complete termination of UNIFIL's mandate and a gradual withdrawal from the region, while the other alternative involves extending UNIFIL's mandate for only one year, with specific tasks including the organized dismantling of its positions and a coordinated withdrawal with the Lebanese army.

The proposal also includes transferring full security responsibility to the Lebanese government, and Tel Aviv and Washington's proposal comes at a time when Washington is pressuring the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah.

This proposal follows a ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the occupying state after a wide-ranging war waged by Tel Aviv last year against Lebanon, which included bombing and a ground invasion of areas in the south.

It is worth noting that UNIFIL forces are international emergency forces deployed in southern Lebanon since their establishment in the 1970s under UN resolutions.

The UNIFIL force was created after the occupation of most of southern Lebanon by the occupying state in March 1978, where the Security Council adopted resolutions 425 and 426.

UNIFIL's priority is to ensure regional stability and protect the population, and it has the authority and capability to respond forcefully to hostile actions.

The number of UNIFIL soldiers is about 10,000 troops as of early September 2024, belonging to around 50 countries, and the Security Council renews its mandate annually at the request of the Lebanese government.

Albanese: Israel brazenly kills journalists and governments assist it in genocide.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, stated that the world has failed in its commitments to protect journalists, doctors, and civilians in the Gaza Strip. She pointed out that the old Israeli narrative is no longer valid to convince people that all Palestinians are terrorists.

In an interview, Albanese confirmed that Israel is killing journalists in a brazen manner, noting that these crimes are committed under the pretext of their affiliation with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), instead of providing them protection to carry out their work.

She added that Israel does not only kill journalists but has made civilians targets of its military machine, especially women and children who represent 75% of the victims of this war, while they represented only 5% of the victims of the world war.

Albanese clarified that the old Israeli narrative is no longer acceptable, and that people are beginning to awaken from their slumber and take matters into their own hands instead of relying on governments that fail to fulfill their duties.

She pointed out that this global shift in attitude towards Palestine is reflected in the widespread boycott of everything Israeli, a stance similar to what happened with the apartheid regime in South Africa.

However, she emphasized that this popular stance will not be able to stop the war unless countries intervene, impose sanctions on Israel, and send ships loaded with food and medicine to break the siege imposed on Gaza.

Albanese explained that countries are assisting Israel, stressing the need for Mediterranean countries, especially Arab ones, to break this siege and join the case filed against Israel to force it to stop the genocide.

She also did not rule out that global popular pressure could stop the war as it did previously in Rwanda, where 800,000 civilians lost their lives in front of the eyes of the United Nations.

She noted that the real problem lies in the fact that the world, especially Arab countries, is not only remaining silent about what Israel is doing but is also allowing it to happen, as only two Arab countries have joined the case filed before the International Criminal Court.

She also confirmed that the global movement to recognize the State of Palestine is not enough, and that countries must send their ships and personnel to break the siege imposed on Gaza.

Hebrew media: France has stopped renewing work visas for employees of Israeli "El Al".

The Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that French authorities have suspended the renewal of work visas for security guards of El Al Israeli Airlines over the past six months. This decision comes amid the escalating crisis between the occupying state and France regarding the war in Gaza.

The occupying state seeks to pressure France following French President Emmanuel Macron's announcement of his country's intention to recognize the State of Palestine during the United Nations General Assembly meetings next September. This announcement has sparked widespread anger within Israeli circles.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 61,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 153,000 injured, in addition to thousands missing and displaced, exacerbating the humanitarian situation in the region.

The newspaper stated that "Paris has halted the renewal of work visas for El Al flight security guards, forcing some to remain in the country without visas or return to the occupying state." One security worker confirmed that "no one has had their expired visas renewed in recent months."

In a related context, the Israeli Foreign Ministry reported that the embassy in Paris is working to address the matter with the French Foreign Ministry, while the French embassy declined to comment and referred the matter to the Israeli embassy.

In a move reflecting the increasing tensions, El Al decided to evacuate its office in the French capital, Paris, after it was subjected to graffiti accusing it of committing genocide. The company confirmed that the incident occurred when the building was empty of people.

Crises between the occupying state and European countries continue to escalate, as the occupying state refuses to withdraw from the occupied territories and conducts ongoing military operations against the Palestinians, provoking strong reactions from the international community.

Australia announces its recognition of the Palestinian state, and its Prime Minister accuses Netanyahu of "denial" of Gaza's suffering.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced today, Tuesday, that his country will recognize the state of Palestine, pointing out that the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, is "in denial" of the catastrophic humanitarian reality in the Gaza Strip. This announcement comes just one day after Australia decided to recognize Palestine for the first time.

Albanese clarified in an interview with the official (ABC) channel that the occupation government's reluctance to listen to its allies played a significant role in Australia's decision. He confirmed that Netanyahu repeated to him his denial of the consequences faced by innocent people in Gaza, which prompted the Australian government to take this step.

The decision by Australia follows similar steps by countries such as France, Britain, and Canada, amid increasing international pressure on the occupation due to its military operations in Gaza. This decision reflects a shift in Australian public sentiment towards the Palestinian crisis.

Albanese linked his country's recognition of the state of Palestine to receiving commitments from the Palestinian Authority regarding the absence of Hamas in any future Palestinian state. He affirmed that this decision reflects changes in Australian public opinion regarding the Palestinian issue.

In political reactions, Australian opposition leader Susan Ley expressed her objection to the decision, considering it inconsistent with the policies of the two main parties towards the occupation and Palestine, and that it could negatively impact Australia's relationship with the United States.

On the popular front, Australia has witnessed widespread engagement with the crisis, as tens of thousands took to the streets in protests demanding an end to the aggression and the opening of aid corridors to Gaza. These protests reflect the growing support for the Palestinian cause within Australian society.

In a related context, New Zealand continues to assess its position on recognizing the state of Palestine, amid criticism from prominent political figures, including former Prime Minister Helen Clark, indicating that the Palestinian issue remains a focal point of interest on the international stage.

A comprehensive deal to end the Gaza war.. Cairo negotiations under rising international pressure

Secret negotiations are taking place in Cairo, sponsored by Egypt and Qatar, with potential participation from Turkey, aimed at reaching a comprehensive deal to end the war in the Gaza Strip between the occupation and Hamas. This anticipated deal aims to go beyond just a ceasefire to include the exchange of detainees and the restructuring of the civil administration.

Under increasing international pressure, Benjamin Netanyahu's government is facing significant demands to ease the aggression on Gaza. French President Emmanuel Macron has called for the formation of an international coalition with a UN mandate to manage the sector, while Italy's Defense Minister has threatened to impose sanctions on the occupation due to the ongoing bombardment.

Reports indicate that several countries, including Australia and New Zealand, intend to recognize the State of Palestine during the United Nations General Assembly meeting, which increases political pressure on the occupation.

According to former Deputy Director of Egyptian Military Intelligence, Ahmed Ibrahim, the joint initiative between Egypt and Qatar includes the release of all 'Israeli' detainees and the release of a number of 'Palestinian' detainees. It also includes the acceptance of the occupation army's positioning under Arab and American supervision during a transitional period.

The first phase of the deal involves a temporary ceasefire and partial release of detainees, followed by gradual steps to disarm Hamas and the gradual control of the sector. These steps aim to achieve long-term stability in the region.

Netanyahu faces strong opposition from the far-right, which pushes for a complete occupation of the sector, while his government is criticized by the opposition due to the potential collapse of the occupation's international standing and the rising suffering of detainees.

In contrast, statements from the White House clarify a clear American shift towards supporting a political solution and pressuring the occupation to accept the deal. This shift reflects a change in the American strategy towards the conflict.

Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the Palestinian Authority play a pivotal role in mediating to ensure a comprehensive agreement that achieves security for the occupation and preserves the rights of Gaza's residents, with international oversight from the United Nations to ensure the stability of the transitional phase.

Arrests and injuries in settler attacks in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians at dawn today, Tuesday, during their incursion into several cities and villages in the occupied West Bank. These incursions come at a time when attacks by Zionist settlers are increasing, heightening tensions in the region.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the cities of Tulkarem, Nablus, and Jenin in the northern West Bank at dawn today. An Israeli force raided several homes during its incursion into the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, leading to the arrest of the father of one of the wanted individuals in the Shuwayka suburb north of Tulkarem.

The incursions also included the Al-Ain camp west of Nablus, where at least one young man was arrested. In central West Bank, the occupation forces stormed the Al-Irsal neighborhood in Ramallah and arrested a Palestinian there. These operations reflect the occupation's policy of pressuring Palestinians.

Earlier last night, several Palestinians were injured due to new attacks by settlers and the Israeli army in the northern and southern occupied West Bank. The assaults also targeted foreign activists, highlighting the extent of the violence faced by Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that its crews transported two injuries of foreign activists to the hospital in Tubas due to an attack by settlers and the army on them in Khirbat Bziq in the northern Jordan Valley. These incidents reflect the escalating violence in the region.

In the southern occupied West Bank, several Palestinians were injured in attacks by settlers on the towns of Halhul and Surif north of Hebron. Settlers also damaged grape crops belonging to citizens in the Al-Hawwar area of Halhul and stole others, exacerbating the suffering of Palestinians.

According to a report by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 466 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank during July, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 citizens and the forced displacement of two Bedouin communities consisting of 50 Palestinian families.

Following the outbreak of war on Gaza, attacks by the Israeli army and settlers in the occupied West Bank have escalated, leading to the martyrdom of 1,013 Palestinians, the injury of 7,000, and the arrest of more than 18,000 others. These figures reflect the catastrophic situation that Palestinians are living under occupation.

Israeli experts suggest less harmful alternatives to the option of occupying Gaza.

The Israelis continue to view the plan to occupy what they claim are the remaining Hamas strongholds in Gaza as a precursor to disaster, and it may even strengthen Hamas. The cabinet's decision is seen as contrary to the army's position, which has increased panic among them, prompting the government to compare the bad options regarding Gaza and to explore which is less harmful.

Dani Orbach and Jonathan Pocksman, authors of the study "Genocide in Gaza," along with Yariv Moher, a researcher in political violence, published a joint article in which they stated that "the entire Gaza Strip should have been occupied from the beginning, but the exhaustion suffered by soldiers and society, in addition to the waste of Israeli political capital around the world, makes this step dangerous."

They added that occupying Gaza at this stage, where Palestinians are suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis and without preparations for effective governance mechanisms, is a precursor to disaster. There are concerns about the acute erosion of the army and civil society due to the danger to the lives of the remaining detainees in Hamas's hands.

Experts also pointed to the prevailing doubts that extremist elements in the government will exploit their influence to push for the establishment of settlements after controlling the sector. Given the international outrage over the escalation of violent fighting to include areas populated by Gazans, the hasty occupation of the remaining Hamas strongholds is likely to create a social rift that serves the enemies of the state.

The experts indicated that an alternative for the government regarding Gaza can be presented, which, while not an ideal model, is the lesser of evils in light of the time that has passed without a decision. The military history of the twentieth century clearly shows that it is not possible to change a regime without effective control over the population, whether militarily or through a strong alternative government from within.

They emphasized that before making a decision to eliminate the remaining Hamas strongholds, the army should extend its control over the parts of the sector it controls and establish the necessary physical and governmental infrastructure to house the Palestinians and provide them with food and services.

The experts added that this alternative includes giving the army the opportunity to conduct a thorough examination of the Palestinians by moving to the areas under its control, initiating intensive reconstruction operations, and providing humanitarian solutions, which may undermine Hamas's legitimacy in the eyes of Gazans.

They pointed out that Israeli attempts to devise improvised solutions by expanding an incomplete basic model that includes hundreds of thousands of Gazans will ensure a humanitarian and moral failure, as well as a political and military one.

Settlers evict 30 Palestinian families from Ain Ammar in the West Bank.

Thirty Palestinian families were forced to dismantle their homes and leave their area in Ein Ammar, northwest of Ramallah, under pressure from settlers supported by the occupation army. This operation comes in the context of increasing assaults targeting Bedouin communities in the occupied West Bank.

The Bedouin Rights Defense Organization stated that the assaults on the Arab Jahalin community included burning homes and storages and poisoning livestock, creating a state of fear and chaos among the residents. These assaults have driven the inhabitants to leave the area.

The statement described what is happening in Ein Ayoub as organized forced displacement, aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their lands for the sake of settlement expansion. The organization confirmed that the occupation army provided protection to the settlers during their assaults.

The organization called on human rights and media institutions to take immediate action to document these violations and convey them to the world, warning that the continuation of these violations without international deterrence will lead to further displacement and assaults against Palestinians.

The general supervisor of the organization, Hassan Malihat, pointed out that the displacement targeted 30 families comprising dozens of individuals. The occupation army also announced that the Ein Ayoub community has become a closed military zone, preventing entry to non-residents.

While assaults continue in the West Bank, reports indicate that the occupation army and settlers have killed at least 1,013 Palestinians and injured about 7,000 others since the onset of the aggression.

According to a report by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 466 assaults against Palestinians and their properties last July, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 citizens and the forced displacement of two Bedouin communities.

Death of a child in the Gaza Strip due to famine and malnutrition

Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis announced this evening, Monday, the death of five-year-old child Mohammed Zakaria Khadr, due to malnutrition and famine in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Medical reports indicate that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition in the sector has risen to 222 martyrs, including 101 children, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by the population.

The humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, as severe famine intertwines with a genocide being waged by the Israeli occupation since October 7, 2023, exacerbating the suffering of civilians.

Since March 2, 2025, the occupation authorities have closed all crossings with the sector, preventing the entry of most food and medical aid, which has led to the spread of famine within the sector.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition among children under five had doubled between March and June, due to the ongoing blockade.

China Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian’s Remarks on the killing of Al Jazeera correspondents in Gaza

Al Jazeera: It was reported that early this morning Beijing time, Israel killed five Al Jazeera correspondents in an air strike, adding the number of correspondents being killed to 237 since Israel launched the large-scale military operation. What is China’s comment on Israel’s operations? Some countries proposed measures to help refugees from Gaza, but this could lead to a repeat of the history of the Palestinian diaspora in 1948. Is China willing to take measures to prevent the tragedy in the Palestinian history from happening again? What effort will China make?

Lin Jian: We mourn for the correspondents who tragically lost their lives in the conflict. China opposes all moves that harm civilians and condemn violent moves targeting correspondents. China urges Israel to stop its military operation in Gaza at once, fully resume access to humanitarian supplies, avoid humanitarian crisis of a greater scale, and cool down the situation as soon as possible.

After describing it as a "strategic trap," Zamir says they are capable of occupying Gaza.

Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated that the occupying army is capable of occupying the city of Gaza, in a statement that contradicts his previous position in which he described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to occupy the sector as a strategic trap.

Zamir's remarks came during a military assessment, where he indicated that they are approaching a new phase of "fighting" in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement from the army.

The "Cabinet" approved Netanyahu's plan for a gradual occupation of the Gaza Strip, where it adopted by a majority vote what he described as the "five principles for ending the war," which include disarming Hamas and returning all prisoners.

Zamir claimed that all alternatives presented in the Cabinet aim to decisively deal with Hamas, pointing to the necessity of preparing to expand the scope of the battle.

Zamir added that the occupying army is capable of controlling the city of Gaza as it did in Khan Younis and Rafah, where its forces had previously conducted maneuvers.

Since May 2024, the occupying army has completely occupied the city of Rafah, having destroyed the majority of its buildings and infrastructure, while continuing to destroy large parts of the city of Khan Younis.

Zamir confirmed that the army will operate in Gaza according to the specified objectives, prioritizing the issue of prisoners held by Hamas.

Zamir called for allowing some time for regular and reserve army recruits, without providing details on how to achieve that.

These statements come amid efforts by mediators to reach an agreement to end the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip for 22 months.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister stated that his country is pushing for a comprehensive agreement to end the war in Gaza, indicating the possibility of resuming the negotiation process if there is political will.

The plan to reoccupy the Gaza Strip begins with the occupation of the city of Gaza, with the displacement of its residents to the south, followed by the occupation of the refugee camps in the central sector.

The ongoing war has resulted in 61,499 Palestinian martyrs and 153,575 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to a famine that has claimed the lives of 222 people.

An investigation reveals Microsoft's assistance to the occupation army in espionage.

An investigation conducted by The Guardian in collaboration with the Israeli magazine +972 and the Hebrew-speaking site Local Call revealed that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella met with the commander of the Israeli military intelligence unit 8200 in late 2021. The meeting aimed to discuss the transfer of vast amounts of highly classified intelligence materials to the American company's cloud.

The investigation raised questions about how the Israeli military intelligence unit 8200 uses the "Azure" cloud storage platform to monitor Palestinians, as it was suspected that the company's employees in Israel had concealed important information related to their military projects.

The investigation included that unit 8200 embarked on building a new and powerful mass surveillance tool that collects and stores recordings of millions of phone calls made by Palestinians daily in Gaza and the West Bank. This raised widespread concerns about the use of technology in the oppression of Palestinians.

Leaked Microsoft documents and interviews with 11 sources from the company and Israeli military intelligence revealed how unit 8200 used "Azure" to store a vast archive of daily Palestinian communications, aiding in the preparation for lethal airstrikes and shaping military operations.

The report raised concerns within Microsoft’s management regarding the commitment of its employees residing in the occupied territories to full transparency about the use of unit 8200 of the Azure platform. Senior executives at the company are making efforts to assess the data held by the unit and reconsider how it is used.

In May, Microsoft stated that a review of its relationship with the occupying army found no evidence so far of the use of "Azure" to target or harm individuals in Gaza, but the results of the review were partially based on assurances from employees in Israel.

However, some senior executives at the company’s headquarters in the United States expressed doubts about the accuracy of the information coming from employees in Israel, leading to questions about their ties to their country's army more than to their company.

A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that the company takes these allegations seriously and is committed to verifying any new data. In contrast, a spokesperson for the Israeli occupying army stated that the company was not working with the army on storing or processing data.

"The Fleet of Resilience" sails towards Gaza with Greta Thunberg at the forefront.

Tens of ships loaded with humanitarian aid are preparing to set sail from several ports on the Mediterranean Sea in late August, in the largest attempt ever to break the Israeli naval blockade imposed on the besieged Gaza Strip for more than 17 years.

The fleet includes activists, artists, and public figures from dozens of countries, including Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg and American actress Susan Sarandon, with Thunberg being known for her condemnation of the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

Thunberg sailed on June 1, 2025, towards the Strip in rejection of the genocide it has been subjected to since October 7, 2023, confirming through her Instagram account that the "Global Solidarity Fleet" will set off on August 31 from Spain.

Other ships will join on September 4 from Tunisia and other Mediterranean ports, with the campaign aiming to "break the illegal Israeli blockade" and deliver urgent aid to the besieged residents of Gaza.

Thousands of activists from 44 countries are participating in this initiative, including humanitarian workers, doctors, and artists, within an organization that describes itself as "independent" and "not affiliated with any government or political party."

The campaign organizers seek to implement the United Nations Charter, which prohibits the denial of food to civilians even in times of war, with the Turkish delegation coordinator in the fleet, Hussein Durmaz, confirming that the initiative unites several international coalitions such as "Freedom Flotilla" and "Convoy of Resilience."

Durmaz explained that "what is happening in Gaza is no longer bearable, and humanity is called upon today to mobilize its efforts to break this blockade," pointing to repeated incidents of Israeli occupation forces intercepting international solidarity ships.

The latest of these incidents was the "Madeleine" ship in June, and the "Hanthal" ship in July, which were both taken to Ashdod port and their passengers deported after being held for short periods.

These incidents recall the "Mavi Marmara" incident in 2010, where 10 Turkish activists were killed by the occupation army, as the occupation forces stormed the "Hanthal" ship when it was 70 miles from Gaza.

The organizers assert that the current fleet, the largest of its kind, will continue its voyage despite Israeli pressures and smear attempts that label participants as extremists or terrorists, emphasizing that their movement is "entirely civilian and peaceful."

The goal of this movement is to "deliver food and medicine to those in need and break the siege that suffocates more than two million people in Gaza," as the Israeli occupation has imposed a tight blockade on the Strip since 2007.

The catastrophic effects of this blockade have doubled since the war on the Strip began in October 2023, which has so far resulted in more than 61,000 martyrs and 153,000 injured, in addition to thousands of missing persons and an unprecedented famine that has claimed the lives of hundreds of Palestinians, including dozens of children.

Miloni expresses to the Palestinian president great concern regarding the Israeli occupation plan to occupy the city of Gaza.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed deep concern on Monday regarding the Israeli occupation government's plan to occupy the city of Gaza. She warned that this step could lead to a new military escalation in the region, increasing the suffering of civilians.

During a phone call with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Meloni emphasized the importance of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, which is facing a blockade and widespread destruction, describing the situation as 'unjustifiable and unacceptable.'

Meloni also stressed her opposition to any moves that could complicate efforts for a ceasefire, pointing out the necessity of returning to political solutions to avoid military escalation that exacerbates the suffering of the civilian population.

These statements come at a sensitive time as fears of a potential military escalation in the region are rising, necessitating international community intervention to ensure the protection of civilians.

In a related context, Egypt has expressed its readiness to deploy international forces in the Gaza Strip, reflecting efforts to achieve a comprehensive deal to end the war and establish stability in the region.

Protest slogans against the Gaza war on the Buraq Wall provoke anger from the occupation government.

In an unprecedented incident since the onset of the aggression against Gaza, protest slogans were discovered on the Buraq Wall, which the occupation refers to as the "Western Wall," on Monday morning. These slogans, written in Hebrew, included phrases such as: "In Gaza, a Holocaust," which sparked widespread condemnation.

Following the discovery of the slogans, the occupation police announced the opening of an investigation into the incident. The rabbi of the Western Wall, Shmuel Rabinowitz, expressed his deep regret, describing the incident as "a serious act and a disregard for the sanctity of the place," affirming that the wall is not a venue for protest.

The Minister of Education in the occupation government, Yoav Kisch, described the wall as "a symbol of the unity and eternity of the Jewish people," calling for strict punitive measures against those who committed this act. Meanwhile, the extremist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich considered the perpetrators to have "forgotten what it means to be Jewish."

The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, expressed his shock at what happened, pledging to take "lightning-fast" action to arrest those responsible. The leader of the "Blue and White" party, Benny Gantz, described the incident as "a crime against the entire people of Israel."

Israel Hayom reported that the occupation police arrested a 27-year-old man from Jerusalem on suspicion of involvement in "violating the sanctity of the wall," but released him under restrictive conditions. Investigations revealed that the suspect had written a similar slogan on the wall of the "Great Synagogue" in Jerusalem.

The mayor of the occupation in Jerusalem, Moshe Lion, described the incident as "serious," affirming that "there will be no place for harming the national and spiritual symbols of the Jewish people." He also called on the police to act decisively to hold the perpetrators accountable.

This incident is the first of its kind at the Buraq Wall since the onset of the aggression against Gaza, although the site has previously witnessed similar writings, highlighting the escalation of tensions under the current circumstances.

13 dead, including 8 aid recipients, in an airstrike by the occupation on the Gaza Strip.

Thirteen citizens were martyred and others were injured this evening, Monday, in an Israeli occupation bombardment on the Gaza Strip. The occupation forces targeted those waiting for humanitarian aid in the Sudanese area in the northwest of the strip.

The bombardment resulted in the death of eight citizens who were waiting for aid, in addition to five other martyrs who fell due to the occupation's shelling of a group of citizens next to Al-Bashir pharmacy in the Hakar Al-Jami' area in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the Al-Saraya field hospital received about 30 injuries from those waiting for humanitarian aid in the northern strip, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster that citizens are suffering from.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of 61,499 citizens, most of whom are children and women, and the injury of 153,575 others.

The mentioned toll is considered preliminary, as there are still a number of victims under the rubble and in the streets, and rescue teams cannot reach them due to the ongoing aggression.

This escalation comes amid harsh humanitarian conditions experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip, who are suffering from a severe shortage of food and medical supplies, exacerbating their daily suffering.

Israeli General: Why hasn't "Hamas" been defeated after all the strikes it has received?

Israeli General Gershon Hacohen questioned why Hamas has not been defeated in the Gaza Strip despite the consecutive strikes it has endured over the past 22 months. In his article, he pointed out that the question at hand is: how has Hamas not been defeated after all these strikes?

Hacohen clarified that the discussion between the Chief of Staff and the Prime Minister boils down to a dilemma between two potential courses of action in the upcoming battle. The first is the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, and the second is encircling Hamas's centers of power. However, neither course guarantees a quick end to the war.

Hacohen added that saying Hamas has nothing to lose is a partial explanation, emphasizing that a deeper interpretation requires looking at the strength of the Islamic faith that drives Hamas. This spiritual force is an essential part of the movement's motivation to continue resisting.

He noted that the occupying army demonstrates efficiency in physical operations, but it needs to understand how the spirit of war is formed among their enemies. This spirit is what makes Gaza a focal point of the regional war.

Hacohen pointed out that Hamas's leadership does not see their current situation as activating a self-destructive mechanism; rather, they consider their suffering a test of faith and a duty of sacrifice. This perspective strengthens their resolve to continue resisting.

He also mentioned that the contrasting image of the voices of distress from Israeli society enhances Hamas's hopes for victory. In this context, the occupying army must delve deeper into understanding the spiritual dimensions of war, not just the physical dimensions.

Hacohen concluded by emphasizing the need to change the Israeli mentality towards war, noting that this area has not been deeply explored by the leaders of the occupying state for generations, but it has now become essential.

"Reporters Without Borders" calls for an emergency session of the Security Council to protect journalists in Gaza.

Press freedom in the Gaza Strip faces a real existential challenge, as more than 200 journalists have been martyred during 22 months of Israeli aggression. Reporters Without Borders described this figure as horrific, deserving of attention and urgent measures to stop the massacre committed against journalists.

The head of the crisis department at the organization, Martin Rou, confirmed that targeting journalists is not an isolated incident, but rather a recurring pattern of systematic operations against media professionals. Recently, Gaza has witnessed direct targeting of journalists, raising concerns about their safety.

The recent incident indicates a troubling similarity to a previous targeting that occurred on July 31, 2024, when the occupying army targeted journalists Ismail Al-Ghoul and Rami Al-Rifi from Al Jazeera. This recurring pattern begins with a campaign of defamation and abuse against journalists, followed by direct killings.

The large number of martyrs places the international community under an urgent responsibility to react strongly. Reporters Without Borders has called for an emergency session of the United Nations Security Council, based on the resolution issued in 2015 to protect journalists in conflict zones.

The ongoing Israeli disregard for international laws and resolutions puts these laws to a real test. The occupying state continually finds superficial justifications for committing these crimes, raising questions about the effectiveness of current international mechanisms to protect journalists.

Despite this disregard, Reporters Without Borders affirms that there are tools that have yet to be used by the international community to compel the occupying army to respect international law. These tools are capable of obliging the occupation to stop the massacre, provided there is sufficient political will to activate them.

Martin Rou believes that holding the occupying army accountable is an imperative necessity to prevent impunity, which ultimately means that international law has lost its power and effectiveness.

In this context, Reporters Without Borders has submitted four complaints to the International Criminal Court regarding war crimes committed against journalists. These complaints are progressing through the necessary legal procedures, but the situation requires faster action.

Immediate protection for journalists requires urgent practical measures, including securing medical treatment for injured journalists outside the Gaza Strip and providing safe shelter for journalists who continue their work in dangerous conditions.

It is essential to ensure that journalists have access to the necessary international protection to continue their vital media mission, as the current situation demands an immediate response commensurate with the state of emergency faced by Palestinian journalists.

Egypt agrees to deploy international forces in the Gaza Strip and pushes for a comprehensive deal to end the war.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel Atti, confirmed during a press conference in Cairo that there is no objection to deploying international forces in the Gaza Strip to enable the Palestinian Authority to realize statehood and ensure the security of all parties.

Abdel Atti pointed out the possibility of resuming negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza if there is goodwill and political will from all concerned parties, emphasizing the importance of achieving lasting peace in the region.

He also affirmed that Egypt's efforts are currently focused on preventing the occupation from expanding its military operations in Gaza, expressing Cairo's complete rejection of Israeli threats to take full control of the strip.

In this context, Abdel Atti noted that Egypt continues intensive communications with its international partners, including the United States and the European Union, to warn against the repercussions of irresponsible Israeli decisions.

He expressed concern over the catastrophic situation in the strip due to the blockade imposed on the entry of humanitarian aid, holding Israel responsible for the humanitarian crisis.

He added that Egypt, which is leading mediation efforts with Doha and Washington, is pushing for a comprehensive agreement to end the war in the strip, with the possibility of resuming negotiations if intentions improve.

He stressed that Egypt will not cease its mediation efforts and is working with mediators to finalize a ceasefire deal, considering that Israel is following a policy of extermination in Gaza.
